Just stayed here a couple of weeks ago, and had to make a necessary return visit in a short time. I had to deal with some difficult personal matters in my old Bay Area hometown, and the Mira Vista provided a calm and safe location to rest and regroup in. Manager Sanjay was as welcoming and friendly as always. He continues to take excellent care of the outdoor resident cats, going above and beyond feeding them. He checks on them between work duties, communicates with them lovingly, and provides security and safety for them. He treats his guests exceptionally well, making sure they are comfortable and safe too. He is a very kind and considerate manager. Anita and Norma provide excellent service as well. Anita is like an old friend. This time I was present while Norma cleaned my room. She was efficient, thorough, and cleaned everything. She was also very warm and kind. I was impressed! As for the hotel itself, the room size is quite generous, and the location is convenient when you take public transit. The breakfast is simple and consistent.

This is my home away from home in the East Bay. I have been a repeat customer for over half a dozen times now. The bed is comfy, the breakfast is reasonable for the hotel cost, and the room is clean, warm, and pleasant. The location is pretty safe too. I feel that Manager Sanjay is an excellent host, aways kind, helpful, and friendly. His continuing devoted, loving care of the outdoor resident cats is remarkable and rare. Josephine, Maureen, Schmoelina and her kittens, and Druscilla are all healthy and thriving as a result. Sanjay, Anita, Anita's brother-in-law, and Norma are all like old friends. I always feel more than welcome! ❤️

Everything about the hotel itself was fine, nice staff, clean hotel, clean room, pretty quiet except for some construction nearby, well-provisioned, spacious, comfortable.

The neighborhood is pretty sketchy, it was good to be walkable from the BART station but... it's also walkable from the BART station which causes issues in most parts of the bay. Can't be helped.

Through booking.com, the management are communicating effectively with my requests and follow up . The room is spacious, lots of free parking, nearby restaurants, gas station, markets, walking distance to BART train station, and shopping places . I would stay here again when visiting SF. This is located at north of Berkeley. I totally enjoyed my stay here with friendly staff, cleanliness well maintained, and affordable.

Everything! This hotel is getting to be a home away from home and still worth the money. It is convenient to BART and in a pretty safe location. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. The shower is easy to use too. Manager Sanjay and his staff have once again warmly extended their welcome. The cats are being well taken care of, with lots of love. I didn't see Josephine or her daughter, Maureen (Mo). But the youngest, Schmoelina (Schmoe), is now a new mom to two kittens! I have yet to give them names, but now that I've seen them, I will have a better idea. Will be back in a couple of weeks.

I have been a guest here four times, and it gets better and better each time. I loved the addition of the sofa in this room. Manager Sanjay and his staff: Subrat, ishwori, and Tenzin provide excellent customer service and always make me feel welcome and at home. Breakfast is decent for the reasonable price. Sanjay tenderly cares for the resident outdoor cats: Josephine, Moe, and Schmoe. He and his staff make sure they are fed and safe. I will be back soon. Thank you!

Really great value for money. Friendly staff. We had gotten in off the plane and they let us check in early. They held our stuff for us after we checked out. They didn't mind our kids. We were very happy.

Small things about facilities, like no handles on drawers on kitchen, but honestly such a great price, I didn't care! Would stay here again. Everything we really needed worked.

Clean and safe, good location.

Bathroom light comes on with exhaust fan only. Cannot turn on the bathroom light without the noisy exhaust fan also being on. Face and large bath towels were of low quality, and not fluffy and absorbent. Vinyl flooring throughout…carpet in the bedroom area would have felt warmer and cozier.

I thought the inside was nice and clean. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is a good location near the highway, places to eat and shop.

They need to work on upgrading the outside of the hotel. It is Not presentable, and it is not inviting. When I first arrived, I wanted to cancel, but I could not. Thankful the inside was much better.

There wasn't breakfast but there was coffee in the lobby. The room was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked wonderfully which was important due to the fact that the SF Bay Area was under a heat warning/advisory. The hotel is very very close to public transportation, a short safe walk of about 5-10 minutes.
