I stayed here prior to racing the California International Marathon (CIM). Parking was easy and the front desk was extremely friendly when checking us in. The room was very spacious and comfortable and had lots of nice amenities including a mini fridge, microwave, and TV. The bathroom was clean and worked well and the hotel even offered a special complimentary breakfast service starting at 3:30am for the runners which exceeded all expectations!

There was a small hiccup when checking in (we were assigned the wrong room) but it was resolved quickly. Couldn't find a way to adjust the temperature in the room and it was a bit hotter than I would've preferred.

The Hampton is always a good choice while in Folsom. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are more than adequate. The noise from the other guests arriving later at night or coming in late can be loud, but overall the accommodations are very good. I like the Hampton because they give me the flexibility of canceling without being charged if something such as changing road conditions or weather affects our travel.

The breakfast

The breakfast provided was very good, hot and fresh. The room was fairly quiet (8 out of 10). The facilities were clean and well kept.

The water pressure was awful. I needed to stay in the shower an extra 5 or 6 minutes just to rinse out my hair. We decided to book a second room for our daughters that live in the area, it would have been nice to receive a discount on the 2nd room.

There had been a large group with many children before us and the floor was pretty messy in that area but a person came and cleaned up while we were eating. She didn't clean under us but did try to clean up the mess as best she could without disturbing us.

I always wish for something "new" to a breakfast menu. I also wish better lighting in the bathroom for doing makeup!

I am a mom visiting my kids for the first time in months after getting visits back from my ex. I traveled hours to see them. It was my sons birthday. The entire staff, but mainly Paola, couldn't have been more fabulous. Customer service is amazing. Pool and hot tub were fun and breakfast and coffee station were great. Thank you!!!!!!!

Highway view, but it's a traveler hotel so that's to be expected. Everything else was good! In n out close!

The room was spacious enough and quiet.Comfy bed! Clean. Breakfast was good. The lady who checked me in was very nice. I enjoyed sitting in the big room downstairs (where breakfast was served) enjoying my coffee. Nice to have lemon water in the lobby too. I would return here. Lots of casual restaurants close by.

The rooms need to be updated the bathroom only had one sink for a room with 2 beds. The downstairs lobby bathroom was very modern.

I liked that the property was well maintained and it had all the qualities a hotel should have. There was peace and quiet and also, the location is perfect. I have no issues or dislikes about this as Hampton does its best job to deliver hospitality beyond expectations.

The following complaints are not against the hotel. I am sure they are company policies. ============ Upon check-in -- told to call a day ahead if we wanted our room cleaned. So, daily room service not provided without request (including towels, sheets, etc) Then my nightly fee should be reduced. === Reduce service - reduce nightly fee === Miss the nightly cookies and breakfast to go bag.

The hotel was very nice and had all the accommodations we needed.

We were traveling with my small dog, which I listed under special accommodation at the booking app. I received a response that they could accommodate me at no extra cost, but when I checked in I was informed there was a $75.00 pet fee.
