The bed and breakfast may not look like the best choice for a business traveler, but it met all of my needs - a clean, comfortable, safe, spacious room with strong WiFi - and exceeded my expectations! I accidentally left a few items behind and the kind staff made sure I received them back asap. Communication via text also was smooth and convenient.

I booked a ground-floor room that looked into the deck. Some people passed by which first startled me, but it wasn't bad during the early mornings and late evenings. Also, the town is so safe that having the windows unlocked and open was not an issue.

Beautiful property and we were warmly greeted when we arrived and were shown around. Lovely little touches like complementary wine in the evening, delicious free breakfast, complementary bottles of water and mints in the room. The living room was available to sit in the evening and there were games to keep guests entertained. Lovely bathrobes in our room. Lovely garden with firepits.

When I booked the room with private bathroom, I had assumed it would be en suite. However, it was a separate room - but for our use only. It was a little inconvenient for nighttime and also for our morning shower.

The location provides walking access to Main street, Half Moon Bay. It is a 30minute walk to the beach and that was OK for us. The Nantucket Suite was comfortable and met our needs. The secluded courtyard for guests and the daily availability of wine and other beverages (tea and coffee), was much appreciated. Meeting other guests from everywhere added to the experience. The town is sleepy on Monday and Tuesday. Most restaurants are closed but it comes to life later in the week. Reservations will be required at your favorite spot.

There was some confusion over the daily cleaning of the room. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was only serviced once. We had to ask for service by putting a sign on the door knob. Who knew?! The rooms are short of storage space. Between us we stayed in 4 different rooms and the problem was the same. No dresser to unpack the suitcase into. We did not have storage to fully unpack during our stay. The breakfast was 'meh'. It changed daily but was always basic and without any choice. If there was more storage, better service and a breakfast selection this place would be a 10.

The room was amazing - we got upgraded since the room we were supposed to stay in was in a renovation, so we got the very best room. It was spacious, there was a complementary bottle of red & white wine, a bath with whirlpool, private bathroom and also outside of the room, on the ground floor, there was a fireplace and a seating space availablewhich was very nice. After our initial "problems" with check-in, everything else was perfect. The area is very nice, you can also walk to the beach which I highly recommend as those are also one of my best photos (of the sunset). We got our breakfast delivered to the room which was perfect (we arranged the time of the breakfast beforehand) and it was very tasty. Definitely recommend!

In our booking it said that the check-in is till 9 PM. But only a couple of hours before our stay we got a mesagge that the staff will be there during 4-6 PM only, which we did not make. Therefore when we arrived we had no "self check-in" instructions (even though there is a possible self check-in with codes) and did not know where to go. Also there was no response for the messages we left on booking and since we did not have a phone service for calls, we had to borrow a phone from the gardener.

We arrived late but the Inn Keeper was still in attendance. Otherwise there is phone service to gain entrance. We were invited to complimentary wine. The Inn Keeper also has a book with restaurants in the area and gave us a suggestion that was within walking distance. There is a bowl of fruit, cookies and coffee service available 24/7. Breakfast was prepared fresh no buffet. Eggs, sausage, toast and fruit cup. Our room was lovely and comfortable.

Everything was perfect.

It’s got a very homey feel with such nice consistent touches in design and ambiance. Very peaceful, a welcoming very well kept living room and large outdoor patio. Free wine and a multitude of warm drinks. Lovely staff and very nice breakfast.

The house is a fairly old Converted holding and the room I was in had some slightly awkward features but I know not all the rooms have this issue. The bed was very hard.

Delighted to find this B&B on the Main Street although away from the main restaurants but about a 10 min walk. Our room overlooked the garden at the back, it was large & clean - lovely walk in shower. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge having a free glass of wine that was provided with other guests. Car parking was very limited but we did find space on the street. Breakfast was you’re chosen time slot & freshly made - it varied each day. Handy coffee machine that could be used any time in the dining room. Great stay & would again if in the area.

Very clean, well decorated and peaceful atmosphere both inside and on the deck and patio in the backyard. Staff was polite and provided great service, including breakfast. The complimentary wine bar was a nice touch. It is within walking distance of cute shops and restaurants on Main Street. So once you're there you don't need to drive unless you want to go to the beach. Our dog gave it a high five too!

We would have liked an earlier breakfast - like 7 or 7:30am. Ours was at 9am.

There was a very warm greeting on arrival to the inn. We got a quick tour and then we were shown our room. Such a neat place. Quiet and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was spot on. It was served at an allotted time. Clawfoot tub was wonderful. We would definitely return to this lovely property.

The only thing was the fireplace was not working. Not the biggest deal bc there was a heater in the room we turned on.

Everything~ Wonderful place! Beautiful place! Home away from home feel, fireplace in room, great breakfast, personal service, walking distance down main street and to many restaurants and stores, great street views from my room. Happened upon the annual festival; Enjoyed.

The host should have stated to us ahead of time about the Half Moon Bay Annual-Pumpkin Festival! We could not get parking on the property or on the street until almost 8 pm. We had to ask one of the vendors to move his vehicles and his boxes out of the driveway, so that we could move our vehicles onto the property by 8 pm. After the festival ended- the city workers and street sweepers finally quieted down by 10 pm
