The hotel is right on the beach, and we had a room with an ocean view. The bed and the pull-out sofa were comfortable. Staff were very helpful, and even found a local charity where we could donate food items that we could not take on the flight home. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the hot tub. he neighbourhood seems very nice and give off a very relaxed, respectful and cosy vibe. The breakfast had delicious almond croissants and a lot of home-made or sustainably sourced items. Delicious.

The breakfast area is just adjacent to the reception and not in a separate room, which felt a bit strange, getting your breakfast in the entrance area of the hotel. This was the priciest place we stayed at during our 2-week trip (which included central San Francisco), I was a bit surprised by the cost of lodging here and in this area.

The room was big as was the bathroom. Furnishing were in gear shape, clean and comfortable. The view of the jetty area was cool. The beds and bedding were very nice and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and in good working order.

There were no charging ports in the room. We had to get down on the floor to plug in between the bed and nightstand. The laminated tv channel guide was inaccurate - the guide that appears on the tv listed channels that can’t be accessed and is also inaccurate. You may think how much tv will you watch while in HMB? Our stay happened to coincide with nfl wildcard games and the Australian open. Not all football games were covered on the channels provided and finding the proper channel to watch was cumbersome.

It was quiet, my room was at the end of the hall and it was quiet. I also loved the fire place. That was a cool addition. The beds are the bomb, ask for a King if you want some space, the beds were super comfortable. There are also 2 great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Both were pretty damn tasty. For some reason the cleaning technician unlocked my patio door and left my room unsecured after freshening up the place. I am a solo female traveler and my room was at ground level, if someone wanted to they could have just walked into my space and that freaked me out considerably. Please, In the future remind the technicians to make sure they lock the sliding glass doors if they need to open them for any reason.

Excellent location, very friendly staff. Breakfast seems to be included in all reservations. Pool and hot-tub available. And I have to come back to the location: direct access to the beach, enjoying the wonderful pacific coast.

The description let me think I was reserving a suite (this means more than one room in my brain) for 4 family members. It was just a normal-sized room with a normal bed and a sofa-bed. It did the job nevertheless.

The location is amazing. Plenty of great beaches within a short walk or drive. The view of the harbor and the wildlife from our room was mesmerizing. Quiet and relaxing. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, but the food and drink was all fresh and there was plenty of it.

Beautiful setting on the ocean. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The breakfast is included and there was a nice selection of bakery items. You can either eat in the breakfast area or take your breakfast selections on the provided trays to your room or patio. Our room had a mini kitchen area with a burner, fridge, microwave, toaster, utensils and dishes. The bed and linens were very nice.

It was mostly quiet with exception of conversations in the hallway. The room included a fireplace, however, the bag of logs would not light up so we were not able to enjoy a fire. There were two TV 's but a remote controller was missing from one. The bathroom had two sinks but lacked counter space. There was an adequate shower and separate tub. Did not have a mini bar available. I think the staff could have explained the setup at check-in with more detail.

The Beach House was very comfortable and staff were very accommodating. The beds were very comfortable! It was an expensive weekend, but overall, worth the cost given the beautiful facility. Our bathroom sinks were backed up and needed Draino. We were in room 113. Thank you! Larry Hanville

We loved the full ocean view suite with the sound of waves crashing so close. We also loved the walking/bike path that was steps from our room. We enjoyed 2 two hour long walks along the ocean. Lastly, Sam’s Chowder House was steps away and has a great menu & delicious food!

We had one incident when our fireplace caused excessive smoke to fill our room due to a down draft. The staff reacted quickly & offered us the adjacent room to sleep in that night.

Breakfast was incredible and the views and location were perfect! The unit was very comfortable and we slept well in the very comfortable bed.

The staff at check-in were cordial but not overly welcoming. Some of the finishes were a bit dated (ie shower)

Our ground floor suite was right on the edge of the beach at the harbor - a wonderful view with pelicans flying overhead then diving for fish and bunnies hopping thru the shrubbery. It was a supremely quiet, comfortable room with a fireplace, wood provided. The breakfast was quite varied and delicious and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Loved it all!
