Rooms are quiet and comfortable. The facility is near the commuter train tracks so thought it might have train noise but apparently they built the facility with extra noise suppression because it was a total non-issue.

Breakfast was on par with other hotel chains. That said, it would be nice to have healthier food options, for example, nonfat plain yogurt, fresh fruit and berries, and slow cooked oatmeal instead of instant. On the plus side, that always had scrambled eggs with fresh potatoes, so maybe a little better than many hotel chains.

The hotel is very pleasant inside. The room was large and comfortable, looked recently renovated, the bed was comfortable, bedsheets and towels were clean. There were a refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, large TV, bedside tables with lamps with sockets in the room. The bathroom was clean, with intact plumbing, there also was a magnifying mirror. There were bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, liquid soap. Breakfast: waffles, potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausages, apples, oranges, cereal, oatmeal, juices, pastries.

There was no complimentary welcome water.

The room was very spacious, bed excellent and really good pillows. Room was clean, received plenty of towels. Breakfast was included, and done very well. The internet and television selections were very good. The addition of a fridge and microwave was a plus.

While the hotel wasn't very full, we were given, for a three night stay, a room on the second floor, right ON THE EL CAMINO REAL !!!! The road noise was constant, the opportunity to sleep with an open window, was impossible. This and the ones aside it should be a 'last sell' due to the noise level.

Breakfast was fine. I like making my own waffles. Coffee was good. Also enjoyed the sausage and the potatoes. The wide open area is an ideal setting. As for the location, it is perfect for our needs. San Carlos is a great town yet convenient to the highways and the airport. Also has a nice downtown area, good restaurants and shops, even a Farmer's Market on Sundays! Also, all of the associates were very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with, and our room was immaculate.

Syrup could have been a little better. I am not a fan of high fructose corn syrup.

Breakfast was good. They offered eggs, bacon/sausage and country potatoes. There were bread and bagels. They had a variety of cereals and oatmeal as options. Juice, coffee, hot chocolate and tea beverages for options. Close to great restaurants and SFO 15-20 minutes drive away. Great value on the SF peninsula. The parking is well lit at night. I have stayed here several times and keep coming back for all that it offers.

Very updated, fresh looking facility. Large, comfortable room with wonderful bed.great location for visiting Filoli. Freeway close.

I understand security concerns with all entrances other than the main one locked after 10 at night. But if you park behind the building and come in late, you need to walk around the building outside to enter the front. Maybe this one entrance in back could be made available by key at night as well as during the day. Just a thought.

The public toilet on the ground floor has been closed and is only accessible to employees

Our room was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the option to eat Breakfast in the hotel but I wish the hours were from 6 -10 am instead of 6-9 am. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We had moisture ants on our wall after a rain storm. The staff gave us the option to change rooms if maintenance couldn't get rid of them. They responded right away and sprayed Windex on the ants which got rid of them!!

Good value. Nothing negative to say. Lots of places to shop within 3-4 miles, Costco, Target, Trader Joes, Sees Candy. McDonalds across the street.

Breakfast ended at 9 am and I missed it. Maybe should last until 10 am.

I love the hotel still offers daily housekeeping, no parking fee, well lit parking lot and free breakfast. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Bed could be a little more comfortable. The room could use a bit of modernization. But for the price it’s fine.
