The room was very spacious, bed excellent and really good pillows. Room was clean, received plenty of towels. Breakfast was included, and done very well. The internet and television selections were very good. The addition of a fridge and microwave was a plus.

While the hotel wasn't very full, we were given, for a three night stay, a room on the second floor, right ON THE EL CAMINO REAL !!!! The road noise was constant, the opportunity to sleep with an open window, was impossible. This and the ones aside it should be a 'last sell' due to the noise level.

Breakfast was fine. I like making my own waffles. Coffee was good. Also enjoyed the sausage and the potatoes. The wide open area is an ideal setting. As for the location, it is perfect for our needs. San Carlos is a great town yet convenient to the highways and the airport. Also has a nice downtown area, good restaurants and shops, even a Farmer's Market on Sundays! Also, all of the associates were very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with, and our room was immaculate.

Syrup could have been a little better. I am not a fan of high fructose corn syrup.

Breakfast was good. They offered eggs, bacon/sausage and country potatoes. There were bread and bagels. They had a variety of cereals and oatmeal as options. Juice, coffee, hot chocolate and tea beverages for options. Close to great restaurants and SFO 15-20 minutes drive away. Great value on the SF peninsula. The parking is well lit at night. I have stayed here several times and keep coming back for all that it offers.

Very updated, fresh looking facility. Large, comfortable room with wonderful bed.great location for visiting Filoli. Freeway close.

I understand security concerns with all entrances other than the main one locked after 10 at night. But if you park behind the building and come in late, you need to walk around the building outside to enter the front. Maybe this one entrance in back could be made available by key at night as well as during the day. Just a thought.

this hotel has a lot of advantages: +free parking + polite receptionist (adult man, don't know about others) + the price corresponds to the quality +clean room +good furniture, bedding, and bath accessories + The room has a coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator + a good breakfast is included in the price (breakfast includes: omelettes, meat cutlets, waffles, porridge, cereals, pastries and various small things) + Tea and coffee are always available on the ground floor

The public toilet on the ground floor has been closed and is only accessible to employees

Our room was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the option to eat Breakfast in the hotel but I wish the hours were from 6 -10 am instead of 6-9 am. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We had moisture ants on our wall after a rain storm. The staff gave us the option to change rooms if maintenance couldn't get rid of them. They responded right away and sprayed Windex on the ants which got rid of them!!

I love the hotel still offers daily housekeeping, no parking fee, well lit parking lot and free breakfast. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Bed could be a little more comfortable. The room could use a bit of modernization. But for the price it’s fine.

Really nice and clean property with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The desk staff was very friendly and proactive. Hats off to Carlos for his attentive service and excellent attitude!

We like to get some extra sleep on holiday, so would prefer if the breakfast was an hour later. It ends at 9 am but check-out isn't until noon.

Very clean and there were no heavy fragrances in the property.

A repairman I did not request knocked on my door and before I could answer, just opened the door himself. He thought he had left a tool in my room. He should not have opened the door without giving me time to answer. Also, the name of the property has "Country" in it. I lived in the country for 31 years. San Carlos by the railroad tracks is not the country. Stupid name for a city hotel.

Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Microwave/mini-fridge in every room, laundry facilities, very clean overall. Great breakfast. Free parking on site. Very quiet room AC/heater, sound-proof windows. Excellent experience!
