Linda, at the front desk, provided genuine, excellent customer service. She treated us with respect and was extremely informative. The other staff were unfriendly, short and dismissive.

We didn't order any food because the prices were ridiculously expensive. I spent over $20 on a small coffee, bagel and an apple juice at Starbucks and don't let me get started on room service. A bowl of cereal was $18.

I loved the location and proximity to Universal Studios. I also loved the pet friendly facility.

The cost and prices of amenities. I do not understand why paying guests must also pay $45 per day to park. If we are in your hotel as guests, why can't we park our cars for free. The cost of the breakfast was also overwhelming for the taste. I can definitely do without the food and amenities price gouging.

The property is very close to a lot of great places to visit. It’s about 5 minutes walking to universal, about 8 minutes away in car from Grauman Chinese Theater. I loved that the staff at the hotel was very nice and the rooms were comfortable.

I liked the hotel and if I had the chance to go again I would. If I had to mention one thing that disappointed me it would be that after our first night there no one came to clean the room. I tried calling the fromt desk and no one picked up so I had to go down to let them know and ask for clean towels. They did send up the towels but it took some time and we were in a hurry to get to a dinner reservation. Other than that the hotel was great.

The size of the rooms were fantastic. The amenities were great. The cleanliness is fantastic. Loved the coffee in the room, very nice touch. The concierge, cleaners, and bell hops were so lovely and friendly and smiling. Made you feel welcome from the moment you arrived. The waiters in the restaurant and bar staff were all smiles and friendly, made you feel welcome also. Location to Universal is just fantastic. It's a nice, easy walk, or you can get the shuttle. It was nice having the little Starbucks open in the mornings. It was nice and convenient.

Front counter check-in staff rarely smiled. You felt you were an inconvenience to them. Even the staff who were checking you in for breakfast service weren't very friendly and didn't smile. Spa pool could do with a scrub.

The location was simply perfect for visiting not only universal but also as a camp for visiting the major tourist spots of LA. The pool was fantastic and its opening hours were perfect to allow for a dip after a full day of fun! The room was spacious with fantastic views and a great bathroom.

Avoid the onsite shop, it is very heavily overpriced taking advantage of its location and lack of other options. We had a room with the ability to connect to its neighbour, which although we had no use for meant we could quite clearly hear our neighbour! Not a major issue as barely in but before bed it was a slight nuisance.

Second time staying here and I love this hotel. It's busy but all the staff are so helpful and friendly. The beds are sooooo comfortable and the bathrooms are so clean and big. The rooms are quiet and we had great sleeps in love the pool after a busy day and the fact that it opens late. Easy walk to the park and Citywalk or use it the very frequent shuttle. We stayed here as a base for our whole LA stay and easily got Lyft to different locations and used the Hop on Hop off bus. Metro station nearby too. Fresh water filter for water when we needed it.

Hot tub needs some maintenance, some evenings it was too cold for the pool but the hot tub needs a paint and the bubbles fixed!

Breakfast at the Cafe Sierra was amazing! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was clean. Also, liked how close the hotel is to Universal Studios park and the shuttle was very convenient even though you can also walk there in about 6-8 minutes.

The only thing I didn’t like was the shower. I took a shower at 7 am and the water was super cold on the hottest setting. I waiting 5 minutes to see if it would warm up and nothing. I ended up taking the coldest shower of my life and the water finally got warm as I was getting ready to step out. Luckily, by the time my husband took a shower we had warm water again. Also, we couldn’t get the hand held shower head to work.

The room was a good size and the location was within a very short walk of Universal Studios Hollywood. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms and corridors were very tired and looked in desperate need of a refurbish. I don’t mind staying in hotels that need a refurbishment, but for the cost of this room my expectations were higher,

The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. We also loved the shuttle between the hotel and Universal Studios CityWalk, it made things very convenient.

The surprise parking fees were not appreciated. The property is already priced above most so having to pay for parking when we're already paying to stay there seemed a bit unfair and extraordinary. If the state of CA has car and emissions fees, we can understand paying some kind of parking fee, but having the fee be as expensive per day as it is for paying guests of the hotel, and only having a fraction of that cost be the difference between valet or self-park was a disappointing surprise.

The Hotel is GOOD, it has excellent location to the people who wants to go to Universal Studios Hollywood and Citywalk. The staff from the Hotel are GOOD and well trained, the majority of people speaks English and Spanish. I am sure this hotel is an excellent option to the family who wants to attend Universal Studios.

There is two different breakfast buffet. One is the Colonial and the other is Imperial. The colonial buffet didn't have protein, only breads and fruits. The imperial buffet was much better. The room itself was good but unfortunately I booked normal couple bed and it is SMALL. The parking is absolutely expensive. It is USD 50 per day plus taxes. This was too much. The bath was not GOOD. The quantity of water was few and took long time to heat up.
