We recently stayed at this lovely accommodation in Napa and had a wonderful experience! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the town center, making it easy to explore all the local shops, and restaurants. The room was incredibly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. My husband really enjoyed the spa. It was spotlessly clean, which really made me feel at home. There were a variety of options of options at breakfast, all freshly prepared. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot to stay with a lovely breakfast to start your day

Very clean, great staff, convenient location, comfortable beds. Breakfast had some nice choices: fluffy omelettes, ripe fresh fruit, pastries, etc. Handy to have two sinks in separate bath areas when traveling with another person.

Location is noisy, near busy main roads/roundabouts/construction (though they did provide sound masking machines in rooms). Challenging to carry heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs to our room in the annex. Would be helpful to have table or another shelf in bathroom without counter tops.

Convenient location, easy to get to, little road noise. Easy parking. Clean room and bathroom. Clean linens. Instant hot water. Helpful staff. Outdoor seating. Hot water, coffee available in lobby 24/7. Freshly baked cookies in evening when available. Continental breakfast includes omelet. Overall good value for Napa.

Pillows too soft. "Candles" fireplace doesn't work. Bedside table light too dim. Air con controls could be more precise. Fresh cookies not available one day during our stay.

Stayed here for two nights in May. A bit out of the centre of Napa, but a short taxi ride in. The hotel is very nice and our room (King, double) was big with a good bathroom. Unfortunately not much of a view, but we didn’t spend long in there so it didn’t matter. The hotel has a nice garden and a spa pool. There is a good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast, although they probably do need a few extra tables because if everyone descends at the same time there isn’t enough room. All, in all would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Napa.

The breakfast was really good with fresh baked every morning, waffles and omelettes too. It was nice to relax in the hot tub and the garden was getting a little makeover while we were there which was not disruptive to us at all but it will be stunning when complete. I really enjoyed the touches of a specific make up flannel and white noise machine in the room. Such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable, great location. For Breakfast, Small Omelet or waffle nice touch, in addition to continental options: fruit, yogurt, yogurt parfait, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, and really good croissants. Walk to downtown about 15 min which was perfect for us. Located close to 29 so easy to get to vineyards but still quiet at night. Small fridge in room nice option. And coffee tea avail both in room (Keurig) and in lobby 24/7. Lobby very comfy, with fireplace, we used it to play games we brought one night while enjoying a bottle of wine. Also there are very reasonable options to ship wine back home just ask at front desk. Overall perfect for us ( annual girls trip for 4- 2 double rooms).

Missed the cookies most nights as they go fast! Also could have used a small table or counter in bathroom for toiletries. Hot tub open from 8a to 9p so we never used but looked great.

Lovely property which had a nice homely feel to it. Rooms were spacious with nice touches such as a tea/coffee machine and fridge which were great and both well used. The staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast in the morning was delicious, there was also a cookie hour between 6/7pm. The outside space was nice and tranquil with seating and water features. Lots of parking and only a 15 minute walk to downtown Napa which was perfect!

Loved that the staff cared about their customer in a way that is almost lost today. To tell you the truth , that means everything to me after driving 3 hours to get there. As a local Californian.I vote YES to The ELm Inn. Sounds too good to be true..the facility was just scrumptious...management and staff really worked as a team to make sure you were happy. It was like staying with family. Kathy M

LIGHTING AT THE DESK COULD BE BRIGHTER.

The breakfast was above average when comparing to other hotels in the US. Pretty nice location, close enough to Napa city center, where you can find good restaurants. Parking right in front of the hotel, with enough spots for every room. Rooms well kept and very attentive staff. P.S.: Despite the compliment for the breakfast, be careful about expectancy. It's rare to find hotels with continental breakfast and good options in California, unless you pay a LOT for it. The breakfast they serve is way above average what you find here, but it's nowhere near what you normally find in many countries. There aren't many hotels that offer breakfast around here anyway, so this one is far ahead its peers.

Breakfast is served only starting from 8, but most of the places nearby are not open before 9 or 10 anyways, so it's not an issue overall. Just worth mentioning.

I loved how quaint the property was. It was cozy and not over crowded with people. The rooms were big and beds very comfortable. The continental breakfast was fabulous, especially the omelets and waffles. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and helpful when needed.

The air conditioning in the room was great but it didn’t seem to cool off the bathrooms the same way.
