We only had one meal at the restaurant. It was a late(for us) dinner and really we did not have much. What we did have was good. On the expensive side for what we got, but it was good.

No one was on either side of us and it also looked like a lot of the upstairs rooms were empty so we could have had a room that had more privacy. We were not able to fully enjoy the view because we had workers going back and forth . I booked through an online service which is how I found this place, and since it was not even close to full at this time, we could have got a much better room. Also the pictures on the website don't accurately reflect the room itself. WE spent very little time in the room so that wasn't a big deal, just sayin.

Cute cabin with a fire place on gorgeous idyllic California coast. Several dry saunas spread out all over the property. The hikes near by were incredible and barely anyone was on them. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site is convenient and decent.

We didn't realize the cabin structure was 2 units that share a wall, which took away from our privacy. Also charging $10 to park feels like a bit of a cheap shot considering a car is really the only way to get to the property. But besides that it was great!

I stayed in the Lodge and it was very comfortable. The bed and linens were really lovely. The outdoor hot tub was deep, hot and with strong jets. No TV - but I was there to switch off from the world, and limit my on line time. The food in the restaurant was really excellent- some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. Kudos to the chef there, they’re a keeper. All in all a nice relaxing experience.

The extremely slow service in the restaurant (food was outstanding). Staff looked stressed. Management should know by now their peak days ( eg Saturday dinner) and plan for additional staff accordingly - especially behind the bar. The man was super fast, but I was concerned about him as he looked like he was going to have a heart attack. He certainly couldn’t give the best customer service working the whole restaurant, as well as the bar, by himself. Management should do better by their employees.

Perfect location, close to beaches and hikes, beautiful environment, spacious and clean rooms.

There were constructions/ paving works going on during our stay, there were no clear signs or directions where to register, where to park, one day the entrance was blocked, confusions and chaos everywhere..... We stayed at the lodge (not tents or RV camps), no microwave, no TV in hotel rooms.

Was a great time in tent until late night winds picked up and electric blanket wasn’t up to task. Did not know 24hr service would’ve brought more blankets — next time. Dinner at the lodge was great, had the bolognese and polenta.

The staff members were gracious. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Wait staff was wonderful.

Nothing. Oh, but I do think the ten dollars to park is peculiar; Maybe you could have a little info regarding what you do with the money; example, do you donate it to a conservation not- for-profit, or a local animal shelter?

Wonderfully quiet on weekdays in the off-season (November). I very much appreciated that the tent site had an indoor shower at the bathroom facilities, as the mornings were pretty cold.

The information on what facilities exactly (BBQs, firewood, general store, ...) were available at the tent site could have been better!

Very remote, quiet, beautiful, serene surroundings. The tents are nice, however not when it’s cold. No heater in the tents. Shared Bathrooms/showers a distance away. Lodges are really nice and have a heater but only 1/2 bath. Shared showers are a distance away.

TENT IS WELL SITUATED AND IS COMFORTABLE AND SUPER CLEAN WELL EQUIPPED WITH NECESSITIES... INCLUDING POWER OUTLETS... COMMUNAL AMENITIES ARE VERY CLEAN AND COMFY... BRINGING YOUR OWN BLANKET IS RECOMMENDED IN COOLER TIMES - LATELY I TRAVEL TO FOREST STAYS WITH MY WOOL BLANKET AND A SMALL PORTABLE HEATER... :)

Location is great. The gardens and displays of pumpkins are lovely. Fantastic breakfast at the restaurant.

Cabin is super cold with only heated blanket. I am hoping the management will get rid of the parking fee and just give a discount for electric vehicles. Out of about 50 cars, only 1 Tesla.
