The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and you can't beat the location. You can easily stroll along the streets of Saratoga or walk through Hakone Gardens, which are lovely as well. Our room was big and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the bidet was awesome! :) You can tell the hotel was built to last with quality finishes, but it could use a refresh. Regardless, if we stay in Saratoga again, we would choose this hotel.
The lack of outdoor lighting should be addressed. There are brick steps heading up to the villas, which are very dark; due to this, my husband tripped and almost lost his toenail. One of our neighbors nearly fell as well. On our patio, one light was burned out, which added to the issue. We told the manager as we were there for 4 nights, but it was never replaced. As I mentioned, the hotel was built well, but the place needs a refresh as the room has some deferred maintenance (carpets are stained, etc.)

For breakfast, I ate a sweet tangerine and had some nice hot coffee. I wasn't planning on eating there. A friend said the bagels were very good. They had a nice assortment of breakfast breads, juice, tea ect . But what I did adore were all the pretty flowers and the landscaping.. the birds were a joy to watch. Including the scurry of tree squirrels, they were cute. Please keep the feeders out. That was so entertaining to watch. Loved having the beautiful oaks and pathways to explore. Wonderful area. The staff is very attentive. They found my phone cord, and gave me water when i was just looking for a water outlet(i was already checked out) We loved our stay.

November 2024
Selections were pretty good, but the seating was mainly outdoors and in late November a bit too chilly for that. The bathroom shower is very good, but it would have been much nicer if there were a hand-held shower, especially since the shower head is very high. Closet very small and hanging pole very high also - must have been installed by a 6'5" man! Very quiet at all times of the day and location in Saratoga with lots of interesting shops and restaurants.
See above. No ground floor rooms available (should have made sure when booking) and stairs quite narrow, especially for older folks! No real indoor seating in breakfast area.

Breakfast was very pleasant. Plenty of options. (Could use a gluten free bread or roll option). Comfortable seating and setting.
Maybe put an eye-catching ribbon attached to the inside of the refrigerator door that the occupant could drape outside the fridge, (but wouldn't effect cooling efficiency) to remind that guest that something is in the fridge. We didn't look there on our departure and we hope someone enjoyed a couple of granola bars and cheese sticks. :)

The location to the Mountain Winery only 1.6 miles was great! A small property with friendly guests Parking for one vehicle on property
There were soap dispensers in the shower and near sink but there was no hand washing soap near the sinks. I had to reach inside of the shower to get soap for my hands. It was very inconvenient. I paid for a beautiful unit with two queen beds then they tried to place me in a sun standard room with a Murphy bed and queen. I paid over 400.00 for a Murphy bed? Bate and switch for sure. After a few words with the receptionist which repeated,”I can cancel your reservation!” Not a good feeling

Location was very ideal for staying in Saratoga and close to the side of town to head up into the hills/winery. We stayed because of the close proximity to Saratoga Mountain Winery (we were attending a show there) and it was perfect. Rideshare was $10 to get there from the hotel. Rooms are spacious. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfy. The continental breakfast was very plentiful. Fully loaded with bagels, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juices and other snacky breakfast items. There were even trays to take back to your room or sit outside and enjoy the morning sun, trees and birds chirping.
I think the overall aesthetic inside the rooms could use some updating. Maybe some sort of "Lodge" type feel to them, or something that plays into the surrounding nature of Saratoga.

This is an amazing and very cute property with a variety of options for rooms ranging from a clean and well-furnished, cozy room up to the luxurious stand-alone units that do not share a wall with other rooms, which can disturb neighboring guests if too much activity were taking place at any given time. The upper-tier options all include an awesome jacuzzi tub and separate shower in a large, spacious bathroom, a living area with a bar and television, and a large master bedroom with a pillow, a mattress, and a walk-in closet. Very nice staff, over the top generosity and a pleasure to talk to. . I absolutely recommend it here.

Liked the size of the room and the area to prepare for an event that was separate than the bathroom. The room was very clean. Breakfast was okay for a quick bite but similar to what you get at a Best Western.
Didn't really find the Murphy bed comfortable and because of the Murphy bed, TV placement was strange. Also bad lighting for the Murphy bed. We were two family members sharing this room and one used the Murphy bed. Very uncomfortable and we wondered why you had the Murphy bed. Are these rooms used for other purposes? Are there rooms that just have two Queens?

We were there for my daughter’s wedding. We needed many rooms all with different needs. Mike was outstanding at listening and fulfilling all those needs. His attention to detail were impeccable. He truly went above and beyond for all of us. Thank you. I can’t wait to come back and soak in the wonderful bathtub again! The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed.

This is a small boutique lodging. More like a vintage motel. Lots of trees and plants. It is close to over a dozen eating establishments and wine tasting rooms. Very quiet. The breakfast assortment, although not eggs Benedict should meet anyone's requirements. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, sweet rolls, croissants, bagels etc. About the only thing I would add, and not necessary, would be some kind of sliced cheeses.
There was nothing to dislike. I've stayed across the street at a larger facility for double the cost. This is perfect.
