Our daughter plays softball at SJSU and we travel with our two dogs. We’ve tried a few other hotels, but keep coming back here. We love the location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, there’s a grass area in the back for our dogs. It’s a win-win for our needs! We’ll be back!

The location, the comfort.

Cost of room was pricey, much more than other similar hotels. House cleaning starts early and you can hear them. My reasoning - if you are paying a lot of money for a room, then then hotel should be considerate and allow their guests to sleep in without being bothered by house cleaning.

Location was good. I appreciated the free parking. Close enough to downtown and Santana Row.

Didn’t realize pull out couch didn’t have bedding. But that’s ok. Also I would have liked a thicker comforter but this is a personal preference. The pull on the metal string for the blinds needs to be smoother but otherwise blinds served their purpose.

Location to Japanese grocery store, good size room, quiet, and clean. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.

Facilities are looking dated; I preferred how the hotel was styled earlier with dark wood and plush furnishings; currently white with a more modern style.

sadly we arrived during a water polo convention and so the hotel was a little noisy. add to that a crying baby across the hall and i was glad it was a one night stay. a nice boutique hotel.

lack of places to eat that served American food other than Applebees right next door. no breakfast other than a menu with two items you could pay for. there is one entrance to this hotel through the front only. three parking places for handicapped meant parking elsewhere with the only entrance trough the front. Entire city seems obsessed with Covid masks well into 2022. come on people if you are that worried about it wrap yourselves in bubble wrap and stay home.

The room was very nice and spacious. Facilities such as an exceptionally big fitness room, nice pool, a bar with a kind bartender, a pool table, games to play, and a pleasant lobby gave us a lot to do.

The bed sheet seemed too small as it would keep coming off.

Nice pool area and friendly, helpful staff. Walkable to some restaurants and the Japanese grocery across the street.

The Aloft was fine. The "boutique hotel" is sort of a very nice motel, but that's not a problem. The only problem we had was that the volume on the TV in our room wasn't loud enough, but I expect that was a one-off situation. Bottom line: we enjoyed our stay and would stay again without question.
