The people that work there are friendly and very non-judgmental. They run a good little s*** and they are kind to all people that are not scandalous. I like staying there because there's no deposit and the maid is top notch. The man that works keeping it clean keeps it clean and it has an ice machine that works. Good atmosphere good dollar value if you smoke smoke outside put this right outside your door is fine there's an ashtray close by. I might give it a 4.6 Stars. It's my kind of hotel

The location was absolutely fantastic for my needs. And it was easy to reach. The staff was really very friendly and the room was okay. Did have a few problems figuring out the heat but that was more my fault than anything else.

The hotel was pretty run down. But the most bizarre thing was when I arrived a homeless youth had passed out fast asleep in front of my door. This was something like three in the afternoon. It was kind of funny but sad at the same time. I kind of had to tell the front desk about it and I am happy that they were absolute jerks but did ask him to move. I couldn't even get my suitcase past him, LOL.

Location is great and surprisingly quiet at night considering how close it is to San Tomas/El Camino. Parking is quite ample--the lot is small and feels relatively secure (you can be close to your car).

The cold water in the shower didn't work so I had to keep running in and out of hot water (don't do this is your balance isn't good). I would mention there's no breakfast service (outside of coffee in the lobby) but I didn't care about that as there's lots of great places to eat nearby.

It was a good clean cheap room . It was not fancy at all. But there was nothing at all wrong with it either. I even booked the wrong dates and gad to change it at the last second and they accommodated me without any problem.

The A/c could have worked better especially since the wall furnace constantly put out low heat.

• Central location. • Quiet (best part). Surprisingly. Even with windows open (was a cool night, and room needed airing out), the outside noise did not prevent sleep, even being off El Camino Real. • Desk and add'l seating table in room, used both. • Good TV, and remote was uncomplicated and worked. • Phone in room, possible to dial '0' and get front desk. • No problem parking. • Did NOT charge me a cancellation fee for a June date I had booked and needed to cancel (and move to July) when my travel plans changed after the stated cancellation deadline. 👍

• The property is badly neglected, appears it's being left to slowly unravel, apparent in almost any detail one looks at. • Rooms are dark, with bad and ugly lighting. • Carpet seems filthy, or at least very tired, did not want to be barefoot on it. • No screens on the single pane windows. • The TV channels line-up is bad, as inexpensive as they could make it. One movie channel would be a smart upgrade. • Wi-fi is weak. • MOST SIGNIFICANT CRITICISM: Shower water did not get hot, and the shower nozzle was meant to restrict water to the maximum and so the stream only a sort of harsh, fuzzy spray. Even in a cheap motel, the bed and the shower have got to be good. The rest I can deal with, but not a tepid shower.
