I read the reviews for this location and most were positive. For an older hotel, nothing fancy but everything you need. The front desk associates were very helpful with all of the asks. Breakfast was good, there is also covered parking and no extra fee for parking which there are not many hotels in the LA area that offer that. Everything you need in the area (Target, TJ Maxx, Aldi, Walmart, Cane's, grocery stores).

The only thing that I did not like was that I stayed only one night at first and the window on the front of the room would not lock. There was a stopper that only allowed the window to open so far but it was wide enough that someone if they wanted could cut the screen and reach the door inside. The rooms face the front and it is very well lit so I am sure that someone would have seen if something fishy was going on. I like the hotel, hotel rate, hotel location that I ended up booking a second night on a different reservation. Would stay here again if I was in the LA area.

Location is good, there are places to eat around the area where you can walk to, as well as malls and shops within 5-10 min drive. Close to Hermosa Beach, which is super cute (highly recommend brunch at Martha’s). Hotel staff is super friendly and welcoming, they will clean the room and change towels without requesting it. Filtered water is available at the front desk and ice on most floors. They also have basic tea, coffee and hairdryers in room. Room was really spacious, way bigger than anticipated, and bed was actually really comfy, one of the best ones I’ve slept in -had no back pain! They had free breakfast with our stay and, although we only had it 1 of the days, it was quite good! They offer make-your-own waffles, cereal, they have fresh omelets and sausages, as well as bagels and toast. Even though we were there during the LA/Palisades fires, we really enjoyed the stay, close to downtown LA, Cenice Beach, Hollywood and so (30 min drive, which is not bad for LA).

Nothing specific I didn’t like, it was overall a very pleasant stay!

It was so clean! Even smelled clean. Beds were comfortable, no sagging. Loved it. Will definitely be back. Breakfast was great. I had the omelet and waffle. Also had triple zero yogurt. They refilled the breakfast station frequently. My daughter walked about in her socks in the room and they were clean after. Never had this happen before in any price hotel. They seem to take great care of this place.

Washing machine cleaned clothes though was a little fast. Clothes seem clean but smell not completely gone. Another review said that washing machine detergent was sold at this hotel though this wasn't correct during our stay and we bought detergent from target nearby

I would definitely stay again. Close to alot of places to visit - 3 Piers/Beaches, shopping, restaurants, and stores for hygiene needs or for extra clothes (weather can get chilly there). Great size room (2QB). Smelled and looked clean, included alot of towels, 4 pillows for each bed (which was a plus- having kids travel with us). Grounds were clean, no scraps on ground, or overfilled trash bins. No one lingering or loitering. Ice maker on every floor. Has Elevator as it 3 floors and all units/rooms are above parking. There are car ports for additional parking (first come first serve). Quiet at night (at least on my floor). Breakfast room was excellent and plentiful. It had cold and hot breakfast. 2 waffle makers and toppings! Front Desk staff members presentation was good - greeted with a smile and calm vibes :)

Not a big deal, but Breakfast room set up to have a better flow. Fridge - beverages - Toaster - pastries - plates/bowls/utensils/condiments section - hot breakfast - waffle mix/maker station.

Location and comfort and cleanliness

The room smelled like cigarettes and I informed the staff .. they were very nice and cleaned the room and aired it out when we were not there They did their best .. but I think it’s coming from the vent … I didn’t want to write anything negative bec the staff cooperated and tried their best. I think the problem is with smokers .. they should be respectful and smoke outside the rooms

Easy to find, and close to everywhere we needed to go. It was clean, we were supplied with more than enough towels for the room. There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and all needed toiletries. They have a hot tub spa there as well, though we didn’t use that. The continental breakfast was amazing every day. Huge waffles, omelets, potatoes, sausages, cereal, juice coffee and more!

The only negative about this stay was the amount of noise you could hear in the neighboring rooms and outside the door. That’s probably not something they could control but it was pretty frustrating at times.

The stay was very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is enough parking. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use and for a fee. The price-performance ratio is good.

Breakfast was minimalistic and unfortunately the meat products and omelets contained pork. Even when we asked, we were not given any omelets without pork. That was a shame, especially as we stayed there for 5 nights. The breakfast room is also very small.

after reading reviews from previous guests, i was a little leery. we were incredibly surprised. simple, basic, clean, easy and the lady at the front desk, spectacular.!! i dont have her name yet she was a wealth of information for dining, ( ceviche across the street, superb)...and activities along w/ a few directions...give her a raise....huge smile the entire time and we will be back

AC unit worked it was just a little noisy....not quite perfect yet tolerable....and ice cold

It was very clean. I liked the nice bottles of soaps and shampoos in the shower. Also the body cream by the sink was a nice touch.

My only complaint was the towels were thin and scratchy. I had to ask the maid service to find us a little bit better towels that were comfortable. So I think an upgrade on the towels would really make a difference.
