I enjoyed how comfortable it was. It felt like a mini apartment. It had a fridge and a microwave and stove. It felt like a home away from home. This will be my new Hotel when I come down to California. It was so nice. Enjoy room for me and my mom and 3 kids. It actually look just like the picture. It was very clean and neat and the staff was very professional. No issues at all. Breakfast was severed and on my 3 day stay I could only make it twice but that was a very nice touch. I will see you soon.

Everything was amazing. It was nothing that I didn't like.

The room was so beautiful and inclusive. Our first room had a loud fan and the front desk clerk made switching rooms a seamless process. I also love that the property is locked after a certain time, and requires a key entry. They also have someone monitoring the parking lot after hours which made me more confident in my car being safe for the night. Overall amazing experience.

My only suggestion is to somehow make the waffle station larger, the lines were so long we skipped waffles each morning, but they smelled DIVINE.

I have no complaints-- Everything ended up wonderful! I was there to celebrate my son's 30th birthday so it was so a surprise to him..... He loved the room and the hotel, as did I! From entering the front door to check in, to the AWESOME breakfast selections daily, to our actual room and the entire hotel itself?? We were impressed, comfortable, relaxed and happy! We felt right at home.

Again no real dislikes-- the only "negative" was the fire pit was not working during our stay...I would have loved to sit around it on the chill nights.

TVs with no streaming services in 2024 is a little odd. Not enough lighting in the bedroom (just the desk lamp). Impossible to get ready using the full length as you could barely see. Also, we asked the front desk clerk about staying in the room another day, my cousin had the 2 bedroom suite booked under a separate reservation and we were trying to not have to move after he checked out. The front desk person told us it wasn't available for the next day (it was). We suspect she just didn't HOW to make the change in the system and we were correct. My cousin was able to get it sorted out with a different front desk clerk the next morning with no problem. She should have just been honest instead of saying there wasn't a room, something we could easily confirm by jumping online.

Loved that they had hot breakfast every morning. It was clean. Liked how fast housekeeping came to my door after requesting an item . I really didn't hear anyone else in their rooms which was awesome.

On arrival I told the front desk that I did not want any housekeeping unless I asked for it. A few days during my visit there was a housekeeper in my room with a door closed. I was really upset with that plus I hate when people touch my stuff. I did have a do not disturb sign on my door and must have flown off the handle when I closed the door. I just felt a little violated. Also I didn't realize that I had to pay a deposit for each night that I stayed there. Also had to pay $20 a night for a car if it's parked overnight. (I guess I should have read the fine print)

My husband and I stayed in a mini-suite with a king-sized bed. It was pretty straightforward/"standard", and the bathroom and closet were quite sizable as well. What we DID LIKE was the convenience of having a supermarket/shopping center nearby, even though the overall area was semi-sketchy. It didn't help that the majority of the supermarket patrons who were getting snacks and/or groceries too were either: (1) dressed in their pajamas; or (2) dressed in their beachy string-bikini tops. And yes, I understand that the hotel was nearby the South Bay beaches, but really? Call me old-fashioned. . . and it's not like I'm going to say anything to these people, but they should be looking in the mirror -- once in a while -- before they leave their house. Just sayin'. . .

Ok, if you want me to be picky about our room, there were a couple of stains on the carpet. Also, there were a couple of stains on the sofa. . . but seriously, I'm NOT going to complain or I didn't complain about this to the hotel staff. If this website is truly going to ask "what I didn't like" about this place, it's the going rate of our one-night stay, in general. I mean, really. . .

The location was very good. Close to a main freeway, central to most LA attractions, breakfast is included, can prepare your own meals if you want to, not to far from the airport and close to Costco for refuelling the car and the property felt safe.

The charge for parking. Booking website indicates it is included it is not and it is $20 per day fyi.

Great location close to our family, the beach and other amenities. The room was modern and comfortable. The included breakfast was good with lots of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Liked the choice of a daily clean or not.

The cleaning staff did not replace our paper coffee cups or add more creamer after the initial allotment. The furniture in the pool area should be refreshed.

Really good breakfast, I wasn't expecting that much. There were plenty of choices and the staff was really helpful.

You could hear the noises from other rooms easily. Beds and pillows could be more comfy Everytime you step outside of the hotel building you get the smell people smoking right by the door. Considering the families traveling with kids, breakfast hours could be extended little bit.

The comp Breakfast was very good.

I am a local in L.A. hosting my boyfriend. I always stay at Hilton Garden Inn, but this time I chose the Homewood Suites. The down side is that there were so many families with small children, especially at the pool.
