Excellent location with a walking distance all happenings and doings in downtown Riverside. Just a few blocks from Fairmount Park (for running, walking, or boating if you please). Nicely chill pool area with very attentive staff on the towel front. Lovely refreshing water supply in the lobby (fruit and cucumber laced H2O). Friendly parking attendants. Generally positive vibe throughout the hotel.

While I’m not a breakfast person, I have to note this on behalf of my co-travelers on this reservation. To summarize: Rubbery pancakes, brick-like waffles and French toast, cold eggs…”They say it’s a curated breakfast but was it curated to be delicious or something more opposite?” Suggestions: The eggs would be better kept in a heated tray with a cover. The coffee options could be more varied (currently only one brew offered) and it would be nice to have coffee available beyond the 9:30am end of the hotel breakfast hours. If you want a refill at 9:45am, may the caffeine gods guide you elsewhere or up to your room to hopefully brew what’s left of your in-room supply (“Please, don’t let it be decaf!’).

The location was great and parking was easy to access. I liked that it was only a short drive to UCR and that there were lots of places to walk to for food nearby. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and not just the usual fair. I liked the tortillas for eggs, with salsa, cheese and guac. I also really enjoyed the berries on my oatmeal.

My only complaint was the gym was WAY too hot and there was no way to adjust the temperature. It felt rather sauna like in there - but not in a good way.

There was a young lady at the Desk. I remember her name was Kanetta. She was totally awesome. I was trying to go out the front door with the cart to get my luggage. She ran ahead every time I stayed there and she’s there and open the door cause she saw me struggling with it. No one else does that there at least for me. Also in the mornings for breakfast, she’ll run ahead and push the button on the elevator for me. That just shows initiative to me. She’s answered all my questions giving me some good ideas on what to do downtown. She’s a diamond in a rough.

breakfast was good, diverse, and well maintained throughout our stay. room was immaculate. there were dogs allowed, apparently; a little barking, not too bad, but perhaps isolate in the future.

reception neglected to advise about wifi so we struggled until another guest helped us out. And when I asked the night receptionist again, because I'm old and cannot hear well, she seemed perturbed. So I didn't like that.

The room was very nice and comfortable, larger than I expected and well outfitted. Staff were helpful and polite. Costs were reasonable. Proximity to convention center was nice as well.

Dining and bar options were very limited, Elevator was really slow and stairwells were only useful for going down - from the lobby you seemed to need to take the elevator up (I'm sure there was a way to reach the stairwells from lobby but it was not obvious). Parking was not included and was a bit pricey.

The property is conveniently located in the downtown area near a myriad of restaurants and within close proximity to the University. I like the cleanliness of the facility and guest rooms. The buffet style breakfast is very good with a good variety of foods to suit guest needs. We enjoyed the sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs and toast. There is also fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, and cereal. An added bonus is Starbucks drinks on-site available 24 hours although I did not get to partake in this amenity during this visit. The staff is very accommodating and professional.

The only downside is the cost of parking at about $20 per night although there is an attendant available 24 hours so I can’t complain much about that.

Breakfast was super. There was lots of choice and it was well presented. Kitchen and server staff kept it replenished and spotless. Reception staff were outstanding in providing an efficient, warm and friendly service - going above and beyond to look after us. Great hotel run by a super team.

located in the center of everything,the staff was awesome and the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, breakfast in the morning was good and plenty of good food to buy and take up to your room for later, I would definitely be back.

Nothing about the hotel itself but people don't know how to use inside voices,slamming doors when staying somewhere other than their homes

The rooms are large with an area with a couch, tv monitor, desk, coffee/tea maker, small frig that is separate from that of the sleeping/bathroom. The breakfast buffet is varied and has healthy options. Fresh fruit and natural fruit-flavored water are available in the lobby 24/7. The location is particularly nice as it is within a few blocks--easy walking distance--of the museums and restaurants we like. Lots of little shops and cafés nearby. There are electric car charging stations in the parking lot. The staff members are friendly and helpful. This was our second stay. We will return.

The oatmeal. It has a "gluey" texture. Nasty.

Parking was not good. There was never a spot available in the small lot attached to the hotel so we had to park in a remote lot down the street and walk back to the hotel every time we came and went and we still had to pay for parking everyday. Very inconvenient after long days out in the heat.
