The staff were very accommodating by providing a quiet room when I indicated that I was recovering from surgery. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean, with updated features. It was great for my needs.

The location on one side is next to the freeway and there is very little except fast food joints to access if you are on foot. Also, charging $10 for parking on top of the room fee once you get there seems like hidden fee since due to its location the vast majority of guests will arrive by car.

The suite was very comfortable as I was there in town for a surgery and needed to recuperate a bit before going home. The breakfast aroma filled the 1st floor and taste very good. The staff did not give me any issues to my service dog. The staff made sure I was fully aware as to where my room was so I didn't need to wander aimlessly to find it in my condition. I would definitely return when in need of a place to stay while in Santa Rosa. I'll seek out other La Quinta & Suites at any other locations I encounter.

It was convenient and clean.

I walked to the front desk to check in and one person behind the monitor on the phone another person was behind the other monitor. The second person a woman who did not appear busy, looked up at me, didn’t say anything and walked to back room. Didn’t greet me or even say someone will be with you shortly. I stood there waiting for the gentleman to finish his phone call and he helped me. The woman could have said something to be even if she had finished her shift. Her customer service was unfriendly, uncaring and down right rude.

I always love staying here as the staff have come to recognize me and call me by my name as soon as they see me come in. It makes me feel so welcomed. The beds are perfect. Its a lovely place to stay for a night or two.

There was one employee when we checked in late at night that spent a lot of time with one set of customers, I would have appreciated being able to go straight to our room as returning customers who had already done the pre arrival check in as it was super late but I get her enthusiasm for the walk ins as well.

Check in was nice and easy. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast in the morning was a nice set up with good selections and plenty of space to eat.

The only really concern we had was a strong smell of marijuana coming from another room during the last morning of our stay (we assumed the smell hit the hallway and was coming through the door). While I assume it was checked on, we never received a response to the text we sent to the front desk. It was an unfortunate way to end our stay.

The room felt spacious, with a comfortable bed, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave. The accessible bathroom was great--grab bars around the toilet and in the walk-in shower. Breakfast offered waffles, hot dishes (eggs, biscuits & gravy, bacon), cereals, some fresh fruit (apples and bananas), as well as coffee/tea and fruit juices.

I did not realize that there was an additional $10/day charge for parking even though signs indicated that the hotel was not responsible for property damage or theft of the vehicle or contents. Hotels in the Santa Rosa area are already rather expensive and this added fee was just over the top.

This is a fairly new hotel in an area that has a lot of shopping & restaurants & you can walk to all those areas. It is adjacent to Hwy 101, but we had a room on the side away from the highway, so was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The $10 parking fee. All hotels should have adequate parking for their guests. We pay enough to stay in hotels, so this alone would give me reason to look for a different hotel.

Breakfast was really good! It really was a great value for the price paid. We LOVED the pool and spa area as well. Great hotel and value for the price. I would highly recommend this hotel for a less expensive alternative to a Sonoma hotels. It's just a quick drive to Sonoma.

The area is good and safe, but it's a little commercial. I was a bit worried about our car at night, but we had no issues. I don't really have much to say negative about this hotel.

Awesome, attentive staff, front desk, maids and support staff!!! Manager was very understanding and flexible when an emergency led to extended stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, well equipped, with neutral decor and enough space to store everything. Free breakfast was basic, but satisfying. Two TVs were a luxury. Sofa/fold-out sofa was relaxing.

Smaller rooms are somewhat confining. Rooms have no scenic views, either right beside freeway or lookong at rooftop w/shops, distant hills.
