centrally located to lots of restaurants; easy to access from the SMART train; back of property goes to trail network!; free bike rental from the hotel; great last minute deal on bookings; late pool hours; lovely grounds; little free library; plenty of outdoor spots to hang; clean room; nice soaps; quiet room

pool was very crowded with kids (I love this) so if you're looking for a quiet spot to sun this isn't it; hotel parking was pricey (irrelevant because I took the train in); check-in was very long line; bathroom didn't seem to have a vent for humidity; GIANT tv in room which is a bit distressing for me regarding sleep

We very much enjoyed the property. We came for a night away with our 2 boys, and we enjoyed the pool and courtyard games while at the hotel. We do wish that we would have just stayed and walked to dinner instead of driving as there are a lot of options nearby and we feel like we missed out when we ventured a couple of blocks for breakfast.

The bed was a little more springy than what we prefer, but it wasn't terrible. The room was not cool when we arrived, and it never actually cooled down, so we slept with the windows open. We did get the nice coastal air but the cooler never actually did it's job.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. They really don't have a restaurant for dinner but there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. There is a small bar in the lobby with bar food that was good but wanted something more. People were wonderful and efficient. Parking is expensive but this is right downtown. They have daily maid service without asking!

The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and they are adjacent to a wonderful hiking trail along a creek.

The front desk was an unhelpful when we arrived and it appears the maid service is separate from the hotel. The default service is once every three days. If you want everyday it is a $35 fee. I'm not sure if it is every day. The hotel is across the street from Santa Rosa so you can walk into town every easily.

Hotel is very nice and clean in a great location. Wonderful breakfast options, nice to have the morning coffee available. Room was quiet and very clean. Everything you'd need in the bathroom. We spent some time downstairs near the fireplace.

I don't like that there is a $20 daily charge for parking. There is no reason to gouge for parking. We are paying enough to stay at the property, they should at least supply parking. I've never paid parking for a hotel before.

The location is close by the freeway and shops, restaurants and a mall. I also like that the room key can open the doors, the parking lot and shut off the power to the room. I also like that you can not hear the traffic noise from the freeway.

I wish that the parking for the guest that’s booked a room is free. I didn’t like the noise of the people who were staying above our room when they were dropping their stuff on the floor. We couldn’t sleep and I really don’t know how they walk but we could hear them in our room.

Staff and their accommodating nature, cleanliness of the pool and grounds. Bed was super comfortable and even the towels were nice and fluffy!

Room was definitely a bit tired, but I understand renovations of rooms are in progress so it makes sense that some things in the rooms that haven't been redone yet are being left to "the elements".

We received very good service from Front Desk people who checked us in/out. But our two thumbs go up to your doorman at both shifts. They were friendly and efficient professionals. I'm sorry that we did not get their names.

The pillows were too soft and uncomfortable. The noise from the hall ways kept me waking up.

Really great location and great hotel with a lot of facilities. It was quite warm, so the pool was fantastic to have in the evenings. The rooms were clean and very comfortable - we slept very well. It was perfect getaway.

The hotel has pretty much everything you'd need. Very hard to find things I didn't like.

previous guest obviously had a dog in the room. the little couch was covered in dog hair, when my wife sat down there was dog hair stuck to her pants. we also found dog kibble on the floor I am an asthmatic and deathly allergic to dogs and cats if the hotel allows guests with pets, they should be in designated rooms. Also this means the house keeping is doing a minimal job in preparing the rooms
