Everything was great. We loved the spaciousness of the rooms, lots of storage, separate bedroom, large windows, patio, nice decor, kitchen, small covered parking (for extra fee) was really nice. Beds were comfy, shower had a hose which is so rare. Nespresso Coffee machine and a free continental breakfast were a nice addition. It was very quiet during our stay, and the sunshine in the evening was filling up the room. The people at the reception are amazing, it’s like coming to visit a relative :) The hotel is conveniently located several steps from the Main Street and on the other side there’s a blooming neighborhood with private houses and friendly pets. We walked a lot and enjoyed all kinds of food and beautiful nature. For families with kids we highly recommend L’oro di Napoli pizza where just a glass shield separates you and a friendly pizzaiolo who gives a funny performance for kids. Goguette Bread and Sarmentine bakeries, Rosa Sushi jand Crooks coffee, Shady Oak brewing company were among other cool places we enjoyed visiting.

To be honest, I could have stayed here a lot longer. I had 3 nights in Santa Rosa and only decided the night before that I would go there on my travels south. The room and hotel were immaculate. I had a beautiful room with a balcony. The bed was so comfortable it made it difficult to want to get out of it. Thankfully, Santa Rosa doesn't get going until lunchtime in Spring, so it suited me perfectly. This hotel is unique and situated in a safe neighborhood which is something I always am aware of as a solo traveler. Cleanliness is on point and the amenities supplied in the room are ideal. Staff were extremely helpful and organized my laundry to be delivered back to the hotel, which was great because I didn't want to waste a minute of my time there by spending a few hours in a laundromat. I wanted to be out exploring and absorbing a new place. Parking was great. Breakfast was everything necessary to fuel a day of discovery. I had my hair colored at a local salon Diamonds & Curls after simply walking in. I am super happy with my color and the price was certainly reasonable. I ate and drank at many establishments and stumbled home to my accommodation safely. I would definitely stay here again given the chance. I absolutely LOVED the Charles M Shultz museum also.

I didn't like the banging and clanging of the garbage trucks in the alley early in the morning. Our next stay we will request a room not on the alley side of the building. Maybe it was just garbage day on Monday and that wouldn't happen any other day. For some reason our check in was a problem. The lady checking us in had problems with our reservation. It took a while, but in her defense, she was kind, apologetic and got it figured out. Not sure what the snaff-oo was but no big deal to us. We were patiently waiting. Don't sweat the small stuff.

The interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. My room was spacious and the bed and especially the pillows were incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located just a few blocks from a lively district filled with restaurants and boutique stores. The staff were warm and friendly. My only complaint was that the garbage trucks were out at 6:00 am and on the side of the hotel I was sleeping on the sound they made picking up the dumpsters was very loud. Next time , I'll bring ear plugs.

I was so surprised when I opened the door to our room I did not expect such a large area with everything I needed a full kitchen, a full living room a TV in the living room in the bedroom, good coffee, plates dishes everything you need.

We stayed 5 nights at the property and did not have our room serviced at all. We hung out the door hanger twice requesting service and even spoke to the front desk with no response or results. We had to walk to front desk and request clean towels, coffee, toilet paper, and tissue. These items were handed to me and I carried them to our room. Upon checking out, the manager asked about our stay and I shared the information which was verified by the desk clerk standing nearby. He offered to take 100$ off our bill(which I had not requested). I would rather have had my room serviced.

Convenient, it has an elevator and luggage carts to carry your luggage. The Nespresso coffee in the room and at breakfast was good and they had real half and half - not creamer! The staff was very attentive and helpful. Room was pretty quiet. Very comfy bed! Lots of options to charge your phone and electronic devices.

Felt a little unsure about parking our car on the street but it worked out fine. Free parking overnight until 9 am and then you have to pay the meter (very reasonable $1 per hour). No milk for cereal in the morning. Should at least offer some for purchase in the vending machine.

Walls thin--could easily hear our neighbors. Need a few improvements in general comfort--a throw rug or pillows and added blanket or two would be good.

Great location, we could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Parking was secure (although the garage is a little tight). The room we had was very spacious with modern furniture.

The rooms are not very well insulated from noise (especially from other rooms). The kitchen had decent appliances but wasn’t well stocked (ie no dish towels, no salt/pepper even though there were shakers, no laundry detergent for the washer in the room). The cleaning could have been better. While the room is modern and looks nice the finishes aren’t great. You can see it on counters and on some of the furniture. The staff aren’t well trained, don’t know how to work things in the room, don’t accommodate requests that you made well in advance and they have to argue about it (which isn’t pleasant), keys aren’t made for the duration of the stay. The bath towels were tiny.

We enjoyed everything about the Art House Hotel experience. The staff were amazing. As we went to our room my wife and I both commented on how the lady that checked us in was so personable it was like talking with my cousin. The room was BIG. Kitchen, balcony, vaulted ceiling and Huge center windows. The bed was soooooo comfortable. I have a problem with pillows. All are uncomfortable and I have yet to find a pillow that I can sleep on comfortably..... except at the Art House of course! I was half tempted to tell them to charge me for it but with my luck it would've turned into a $400 purchase. The four top restaurants in Santa Rosa were literally 2 min walks from the hotel. There is street parking with cameras for safety but opted for the $18 overnight parking in garage just for my piece of mind. The painting in the hallway right across from our door was a work of art that we paused to soak in. This was one of our best overnight adventures and we will be seeing them in October for sure.

There is construction happening and our room was on the side where all the action was happening. We NEVER get to sleep in so that was the only disappointment. But if you're an early riser it won't be a problem.
