The food in the restaurant really was quite good, and inventive in a very appetizing way, especially breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were professional, upbeat and fun, with personality, which I really appreciated. The hotel itself had an attractive and open lobby, and the same was true of the restaurant, and the layout was good. The prices in the restaurant were reasonable also.

The bathroom tissue holder in the bathroom of my room needed to be secured better because simply getting a piece of the tissue made the bathroom tissue holder rotate so that it no longer held the roll. That was about it.

cleaning lady was really nice

the front disk was not pleasant when I checked in. she gave me hard time. I booked the reservation and added my partner's name so she would have access to the room if she came before me . (based on advice i received my previous stay couple of weeks ago by front disk so the lady insisted that My partner has to be physically present with me to proceed with check in!!! then she asked me to call my partner on the phone and speak with her to give permission to allow me check in even though I made the reservation on booking.com and put my name and my Visa card!! so it was unnecessary inconvenience knowing that I applied advice i got earlier by front disk. Any ways I called, and she gave permission to her then she allowed me to check in!!

Location

Parking fees of $34 and internet fees of $15 were not disclosed at time of booking, which would have impacted my decision based on total cost to stay there. Outgoing phone calls were dropped after 5 seconds, every time. Hair dryer was on the floor in the closet, instead of in the bathroom so wasn’t found when needed, and then couldn’t reach front desk or housekeeping to learn where it was bc the phone had issues. When selecting where to eat breakfast, there was no host(ess) station to talk to someone to view the menu or be seated. I had to track someone down across from the restaurant to place our order. I used to stay at the Torrance Marriott frequently, but I don’t think I will again.

I loved the service, my room was.one of the best I've stayed in and I travel to Torrance a lot. I didn't really eat at the hotel but next time I may try.

My only complaint was the parking, my friend who visited said the parking was 20 buck, I feel if you pay more for a nice hotel parking should be complimentary. But that's just my thing.

Staff was outstanding. The location was good and in a decent part of Torrance. The room was clean and spacious.

They nickel and dime you for almost everything: parking, breakfast, Wi-Fi etc. You can't plug any of your own devices into the TV, and there were multiple nights during the work week that I was kept awake by parties and loud people on the outside lawn/patio. We were on the 8th floor, and we could hear almost everything going on down there.

The room was quiet, comfortable, and modern. Everyone was nice and eager to help. The restaurant had a nice menu variety. The gym was a good space with several available equipment.

I think that for a 3-star hotel, it is a bit pricey. The breakfast price was a bit too much. The windows were a bit dirty on the outside.

Excellent facilities. Parking structure provides security for my car. Room TV had lots of features. Furnishings were modern and up to date. Walking distance to mall and restaurants.

A little noise from the hallway.

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast food was really good, great having Starbucks in the hotel, we enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi, the staff were very nice & helpful, lovely to sit outside and eat lunch. The second room we were transferred up to was great. Enjoyed the option of valet or self park. It was not a bad walk at all, whereever you parked in the parking lot. The mood of the lobby floor was very calming and relaxed.

The first room we had was not good. There was water dripping from the ceiling of the shower, the phone did not work in the room. One issue with being located where the hotel is, there are a lot of sirens travelling down Hawthorne Blvd. (not much you can do with that), BUT we did notice that people love to go to the top level of the Del Amo parking structure and do donuts with their car. That is noisy. Even in the second room, the shower would leak onto the floor in the bathroom coming under the glass door. But we just made sure we had towels down. The water pressure was very weak in the shower. The Movie Theater channel did not work in the second room, had a technician come but he couldn't fix it and he said he would get back to me about it but did not hear from him.

The property is well maintained, well staffed with amazing people the room was clean and comfortable and the food was great.

Very near the airport and the mall. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean. The room was very spacious.

Wi-Fi on the property was hard to connect to.
