The Japanese design was impressive. The bidet was just like mine at home, first hotel that I have stayed at with one. So a big thank you!!! The spa room was amazing and the staff was 5 star service. You must experience the heated floor room, massage and hot tub Best part of our trip and will return annually for the spa service. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Gardena is not a location where you will find super high end hotels. I researched the best ones in the same price range and chose this hotel. We booked a two queen size bed room. The young lady at the check in gave us a nice corner room on the 5th floor with the front parking view which had a nice view of their pretty large trees. I’m not sure how different the king size bedrooms are but our room was spacious - divided into the living room and bedroom with a long table/desk. The room had an older model Japanese electric water heating pot. Which is a huge plus if you like to drink a lot of hot green tea, or eat instant ramen (^_^)。 They also gave us two complimentary water bottles. It also had a safe, iron, fridge, coffee maker and a dvd player (didn’t use it). Being Japanese American, the best part of the room was the bathtub. It is a Japanese style bathtub. It’s nice and deep and in the same place as the shower so you can rinse or wash yourself first, then soak in the deep tub. The water pressure was great. I don’t usually take baths at hotels because it’s never cleaned well and disgusting but I rubbed my fingers slightly around the tub and it was squeaky clean so I was able to soak in the tub with no worries. The bathroom has a washlet. They also give you a toothbrush and one bath salt that’s included in your amenities. If you go to the closet, they give you free white disposable slippers which is a huge plus if you don’t like walking barefoot on hotel room floors. They also had a decent fitness room and a self serve mini convenience store which was a plus. We were in Gardena for my daughter’s exam that began at 7:30AM and went on for seven hours. So being able to sleep as much as we can and having the test site be as close as possible was a must. The hotel was perfect for our purpose. It is also located super close to many Japanese fast food restaurants and Daiso if you forgot to bring something from home and don’t want to spend so much money.

The only inconvenience was that the ice machine was out of order on our floor. The hotel rooms are probably on the older side so when you walk into the room for the first time, the air is not so pleasant but that is immediately fixed when you turn on the AC and open the balcony window. Oh, the only thing I wish was replaced with a new one was the blow dryer. It was very old (felt like I was using a pretend toy dryer) very loud, and took forever to blow dry our hair.

For business trip. It's very close to our office. Hotel/room is clean and some appliances/services do accommodate to the Japanese style. There are plenty of restaurants and a bakery in the plaza in the next block back to the hotel (walking distance). Wifi is good. Also the hotel has a basic fitness center. If I remember correctly, they have vending machine and FX desk on the first floor. I think they also have some meeting hall that can hold big events.

The staff was very helpful and kind, always willing to go the extra mile. The room was spacious and the bathroom (and the oversized tub) was just amazing. The pillows were very comfortable.

The beds weren't as comfortable as we thought, and we even woke up with a slight back ache. The tub was slightly dirty (We found several strand of hair in the tub) so we decided to clean it ourselves before using it.

The bed was very comfortable, the bathtub and bathroom overall were great. The balcony door opens to allow fresh air. The room was spacious.

The in room coffee maker did not work - staff offered a cup of coffee from the restaurant because housekeeping was not yet available. The restaurant was too pricey for me. I eat a light breakfast so $30 for breakfast is not reasonable.

Spacious room especially shower/bath tub, comfy bed and nice calm and very private atmosphere of the hotel. Free parking lot is big plus.

Our room was located over super loud airconditioning outlet from restaurant or what, so it was impossible to open window at night not just because of the noise, but also because of the smell of cooking. Also additional price for spa suprised us as at the reservation was written it is included.

Room is clean and Japanese style bathroom deep bathtub and washing space. The Ise-shima Japanese restaurant is excellent!! We also like the Gan ban Yoku @spa so refreshing. All the stuff are very friendly and caring.

We stayed at 5th floor but the view was not good because of the construction especially.

The staff was very nice and professional. The hotel was clean and updated. The hotel was in a very convenient location for what I was in town to do.

The only things I did not like was the firmness of the mattress and the price of the breakfast buffet.

Everything was excellent except one thing.

Unfortunately, we saw cockroaches near the reception and the restaurant.

More than I expected. Love the ambiance, the bedroom and the bathroom like the bathrooms in Japan . The water’s stream is very strong compared to other hotels in the states ;) overall , love it. Become one of my fav hotel I will stay.
