For the price that was paid for three nights, I think it would have been nice if a daily breakfast was included - like they do at the BeachHouse Hermosa. It was quiet for the most part there at night.

The air conditioner in the room smelled very mildew- like. I immediately turned it off upon arriving. Luckily one of three windows could open most of the way, and I bought a table fan to run continuously. That helped the air smell in there a lot. The two throw rugs in the room both should be discarded, as they were both filthy and smelly.

Loved the location. The room was exactly as pictured. I loved the higher ceilings made to look like a beach house. All the windows opened with screens and allowed for the sea air to flow through. The view of the beach from the room door was so beautiful. Beds were comfy. The stocked mini fridge was convenient. The bathroom was clean, no stranger hairs anywhere. Toilet was clean, 3 fresh rolls of toilet paper were left. The shampoo and conditioner provided was wonderful did great for my dry CO hair.

Literally the only complaint I have and it's soooo first world, is the shower head pressure. The shower head was a nice fancy one but the way it's positioned it gives zero pressure. Never felt clean enough.

Location was excellent. Room was cozy and comfortable.

I came to the front desk for milk and plasticware. Plasticware was available and offered. The milk was beyond the expiration date, and normally would not have been an issue; however, it did taste bad. I returned the milk and asked for it to be taken back off as a charge to my room and was met with somewhat of an attitude from the clerk about that. She checked the date as if I was lying and seemed to be annoyed by my request. Not that big of a deal, but as a guest, seems as though there should have been a more courteous attitude about it.

The size and layout of the room. spacious bathroom. Plenty of towels amd supplies. Comfortable furnishings. Perfect bed perfectly made. Housekeeping did a terrific job. Seashells on a ceramic tray on the bed. Nice touch. Thick drapes for privacy. Cottage feel with shutters and furniture. good coffee. Extra metal piece to prevent door opening. Good security.

Lighting. More needed over desk. Lamps gave intermittent light with dark spots. Difficulty seeing contents of suitcase. More overhead light needed. Shower leaked water through half inch gap between glass doors. Long towel rack would help for large towels. A grab bar in the shower would be helpful. I'm 5'9" and 220 lbs. I almost hit my face on the little metal shelf in the shower while trying to wash my legs and feet.

It was very clean. The shower had great water pressure. The shower products were of good quality allowing me to feel clean. The view was great. Great location! Loved the outdoor lounging area.

Why are Southern California motels charging for parking? The room is expensive enough already. Why am I being punished for having a car? The lodging industry should be adding value to the customer experience charging for parking is a middle finger to your guests.

Great location. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. Rooms were presented beautifully with modern fixtures. Lots of space. Beach towels provided for our days on the beach.

Original room we booked wasn’t what we got and this wasn’t communicated to us beforehand, this caused some issues with our party with bed configuration. Staff not understanding of this and were dismissive.

Great location. Friendly staff (thanks to Ann!). Rather quiet, despite top waterfront location. Free bicycle hire, for a short ride, was a nice bonus.

The continental breakfast was (very) poor; yet this is not specific to this hotel but rather the general US hotel standard (so much different from EU).

I loved the location and being able to get quick access to the beach! The room was beautiful with great new upgrades. I loved the space that we had in the room!

The room was a little dirty with a food bag being left from a previous occupant. There was hair and a few things in the bathroom. I wasn't a fan of the parking situation.

LOVED the blonde Brazilian girl that worked the front desk! Hard worker and any company is lucky to have her. She never seemed annoyed with guests asking questions, and said she'd take care of them. Did everything with a smile and always seemed happy to help. Hard to find good customer service like that nowadays. She turned on the fire pits and cleaned up after some guests that left things on a table. Told us to leave everything and she'd take care of it. One of the propane tanks was stuck and I called my husband down to help, but she was determined and got it before he got down there. She brought us blankets when we were by the fire, and I heard her tell another guest she would bring up their things to the room. Rockstar employee!!!

Location, practically on the beach: next to walkway/the strand , hermosa beach pier: well appointed rooms-very clean, love the ocean view patio seating in front ! I had a top floor king/sea view room and the view was breathtaking! Lots of nice touches -like robe/slippers : staff were very kind/welcoming & helpful :)

The pillows were a tad small , do wish there was an elevator to the top/3rd floor may be hard to navigate or slippery if it rains like when i was there
