Rodger and his wife own and live on-site in the beautiful small inn. He is a very kind and first class human being who takes care of his guests without being intrusive. In addition to seeing that all of your on-site needs are met, he guides you to local points of interest, helps get reservations to local restaurants, and helps with any and all issues that you might have. We were there to see the Redwoods and he guided us to some beautiful areas. We also ate at a first class restaurant that he got us into same day. Finally he gave us his own State map to use for our 10 hour drive into southern CA.

Everything met our expectations. You want to stay here to visit northern CA! Thanks for everything Rodger.

Location, ocean, quiche, and wildlife.

I didn’t like that my grandparents were cold. Their room was the only room without a stove fireplace (out of 3). The heat was turned off at night or turned down very low and my grandma slept with her jacket on. The next night we took blankets off of our bed and put in their room. They would have stayed in the room upstairs but there wasn’t an elevator and my grandfather couldn’t do stairs very well. Also, the owner seemed a bit grumpy, but I would stay here again without my grandparents.

It was a great experience staying in this inn. Very friendly staff, great location, very clean and pristine, and the great breakfast omelet. We had a great experience visiting Redwood National Park and staying in Turtle Rocks completes it. My children see wildlife in the back garden of the inn. They saw a deer, blue jays and seelions. It was a great experience for kids.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this place for two nights. Our room offered a spacious and clean environment with an amazing ocean view. Roger, our host, welcomed us warmly and provided us with a thorough tour of the premises. The breakfast and snacks served in the morning were delightful, especially the blueberry muffin and chocolate chip cookies. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future

The hotel is just 18 minutes away from Thomas Kuchel Visitor Center in Redwood National Park. We did two days of hiking in Redwood NP. So it really helps to stay at this hotel. Innkeeper cooks great breakfast.

The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the bedding could be updated

the views were the main WOW of this property, also the hospitality and amazing people we really had great time also the breakfast was really good .

Very homey and well managed. The innkeeper was super accommodating to our crazy arrival and departure times. Plus they provided great food.
