The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is in a better area of Cortez, the staff was friendly, and while the outside may seem rundown it was one of the nicer interior hotel rooms. I did appreciate that while the hotel was 4-20 friendly they made it so the rooms were not overpowered with the smell. I will continue to come back to this location during my trips and recommend to everyone if I see the next visit that the air conditioning was fixed.

The biggest issue was the A/C wasn't working great. We got a room mainly to take a break in the daytime heat and but, instead, we just baked inside our room. Also, the hotel lobby smelled so strongly of marijuana it was overwhelming (we know the hotel was 4-20 friendly, but there's a point where they might try to air it out a little bit).

The people at the front desk did a great job and were very accommodating. I didn’t catch your name, but the lady upfront was very helpful with any questions or problems I had.

Quiet,clean. Very friendly night guy! He was awesome-joked, made you feel welcomed! Rooms were very nice, comfy bed-everything worked!

No curtain on bathroom window! Breakfast was all carbs-cereal, bread, donuts-no yogurt or fruit!

The room was clean. The location was good walking distance to few places to eat if don't want to drive.

There was little extra traffic thru the night. The beds was little hard for me.

We have been staying here for the last 3+ years both on vacation and work. The owners are very nice and remember my wife so we always get the same room. Very comfortable and the hot tub is great after a long ride.

The past reviews indicated negative things that I did not find. This motel is an older, budget-friendly motel but the room was clean, bed was comfy, and the shower water pressure and temperature was amazing! No drizzle shower at this location!!! I would definitely stay here again when I come through Cortez!

Close in town but not in the center- pool and hot tub functional and clean. Room clean.

Needed a little update in A/C but it still worked so 🤷🏼‍♀️

The room was pretty big, with desk, sofa, and large refrigerator.

In my room, the huge refrigerator was running but not cooling. The hot water in the shower turned itself off automatically, so I had to hold it with one hand while I washed with the other.
