I stayed in a suite for two nights paying $2K, I stayed on lessor expensive rooms and had a better experience. I honestly can’t put my finger on it but it was not a wow feeling. The room was dark, not a lot of natural light. There was a stale smell to the room, although it was clean. I really feel I paid too much for the room and would appreciate a discount of 15%. The hotel had low occupancy, I should have got a better room at a better rate. I would love to get a response to my request. Thank you. Steve Bowdry

The darkness of the room, lack of natural light.

From the moment we arrived the staff was very attentive. We stayed for 5 nights. I never had to open a door when arriving or departing the hotel. Valet was prompt, helpful knowledgeable about the area. Housekeeping was very accommodating. Room Service -Sarah was exceptional and anticipated our needs. Beds were comfortable, and in room amenities were thoughtful and helpful and came in handy more than once. I visited the spa for a massage. Service was excellent and my massage therapist — Tracey was professional and made my experience very relaxing. I just can’t say enough about how nice the staff was.

There was really nothing that we didn’t like. I do have a few suggestions. 1. It would be nice to have two chairs in the room instead of one. In room dining was awkward with only one chair. 2. The elevator doors shut very quickly. I was smashed a couple times because I wasn’t quick enough after people exited the elevator. 3. Some brighter lighting in the bathroom. Since I am of a graduated age it was a bit difficult to get ready in Front of the vanity

The staff especially the wait staff at breakfast and the spa- top notch!!! Comfortable room, well appointed. Everything you would expect from a Ritz. 5 star all the way.

The lighting in the bathrooms was harsh.

I LOVE staying at the Ritz it is a favorite of mine. I don't sleep well in hotel beds but the Ritz is another story.

My only knock is they don't have a pool. Otherwise it would be perfection.

I really appreciate it that Jan Sun gave me an upgrade after a long and disastrous trip, especially being Christmas Eve. The suite was amazing. He also had someone deliver a very nice little bag with toothpaste, tooth brush and a comb. (My bag had been sent to Eagle). The in-dining service could not have been nicer and more accommodating. They were kind enough to change my tuna dish for the salmon; since the tuna was too rare for me. Housekeeping was also very helpful. They changed the scale that was not working.

There was a noise in the bathroom, it sounded as though someone kept flushing the toilet through out the night, which woke me up several times.

Wife enjoyed the Spa and the friendly staff. Beds and room were clean and beds very comfortable. Valet personnel where very friend and remembered your name. Thumbs up to them!!

Could have a larger lobby area.

I choose Ritz Carlton for safety and slept serenely.
