Hotel is very nice and in a great location. They have little competition. However when they encourage you to join them for "Happy Hour" from 2-5pm or whatever the hours were, and the prices are the EXACT SAME as the regular menu, they are being disingenuous at best and outright fraudulent at worst. Once I realized this I refused to eat or drink anything at the hotel. I'm a guest at your property and you are trying to trick me? Seriously?? This was not an accident - staff said they had brought it to management's attention previously but they refused to do anything. It detracted from what would have otherwise been a great experience. It's not about the money, its the principle.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but the hotel is charming, has awesome staff, was very clean, and is in a great location.

I would say is that it is very highly priced, and some of the amenities in the room are not up to the price tag. The TV channel situation is absurd, the bathrobes were very rough and had obviously been bleached many times, there is no fan in the bathroom so you can hear everything that happens in it and the mirror takes forever to un-steam, and lastly, the mattress is very firm while the pillows are huge, so it was not a great night of sleep for my wife and me.

This was one of the nicest, best run small hotels I’ve stayed in. The property is well taken care of, extremely good cleaning service, the front staff was absolutely lovely and accommodating, the decor tasteful and modern but with character, the location was ideal, with lots of coffee and restaurant options all around, and the price more than fair. The one thing that was off: There was a loud almost constant humming that would be louder in certain parts of the room and bathroom. My window was not exterior so the noise possibly was due to being near ventilation or hvac systems.

Very clean and great location. The room design was extremely functional. I often find hotels prioritize decor over function but this place is definitely the opposite. Small things like the bathroom mirror with a small shelf means there is additional space, along with nightstands with usable shelving makes this place seem like it was designed by a fellow world traveler.

I had no issue with anything here but if it wasn't obvious by the description, this hotel is in a beautiful old building. The floors creek when you walk on them and you can hear the train at night. To combat this, the hotel provides a sound machine and earplugs. I was concerned upon seeing these items but none of the noises bothered me.

The hotel was very charming and clean. Staff were wonderful. They made me feel welcome and taken care of. Room was nice and cozy, and well thought out. Very comfortable bed. Bikes are available to use and very easy to get around on all of the paths. Food at the Ace Gillette’s was good and fun atmosphere. Location was excellent.

Overall it was quiet, just could hear the room above pretty loudly when they were there which included a 2 am night and an early 6am another time. This was probably mainly due to the older building.

Friendliness of staff! Everyone was so welcoming, it was my 2nd stay there and some remembered me from a year ago which was very impressive! The hotel is stylish, great location and offers great food and drinks in the restaurant below.

Wasn't the hotels fault but there was a lot of noise coming from floor above for a few of the nights but the staff were very supportive (especially Bri) to help sort.

Exceptional service and communication. Spotlessly clean. Quirky, interesting artwork and decor. Cozy, chic, well-priced suite with an extremely comfortable bed. The Armstrong provides adorably packaged ear plugs, with the inscription, "Silence is Golden," which I promptly swiped but did not use. The moment the train whistled through, I fell right to sleep. The staff is amazing and the location is perfectly situated between Old Town and CSU campus. Highly recommend!

Change-of season issues - It was super chilly (40-50-ish?) and the split-system heat was not on/still set to cool when we arrived around 6PM. I thought we set it to warm up before going out to dinner nearby, but returned about an hour later to a still-chilled room. The room phone did not connect to the front desk, so I texted (awesome feature). Ed's response was prompt, and we had the room heated up quickly with his help. It also would have been nice to have a pocket or barn door to close off the main sleeping area from the living area. All that was minor, however, and the service/comfort more than made up for those notes. I would LOVE to stay here again and will make this my go-to spot if my son ends up at CSU.

Great location to enjoy old town in Fort Collins. Stylish, clean, and special rooms. Tiled bathroom and old town feel. I could sense the wonderful history of the area in comfort. There are ear plugs in the room and a white noise radio device just in case guests can't sleep due to "downtown" noises (neither of which did we need to use). We heard the train pass by once, but only faintly. Slept solidly. No complaints! Front desk staff especially Trie were welcoming and kind. Bathroom amenities felt luxurious and smelled subtle and lovely. I am happy to see you use refillable bathroom amenity bottles to reduce plastic waste. Plenty of AC and clean, soft bedding. In-room Nespresso machine produced strong, delicious coffee in the morning. We appreciated our first, long-awaited experience at the Armstrong!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The location of this hotel is unbeatable—just steps away from incredible dining and great coffee. The rooms are beautifully styled, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The beds and pillows were so amazing that I actually asked what brand they use! Every detail felt thoughtfully designed to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. If you're looking for a great place to stay with top-notch comfort and convenience, this is it. Highly recommend!

We loved the location in Ft Collins as we were able to easily access great restaurants, craft beer bars, CSU, and a network of walking/biking trails on foot. Additionally, there were breweries, golf courses and other activities within a few short minutes by car. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we also loved having the restaurant and cocktail bar right there at the hotel.

The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but by no means a deal breaker especially in a vintage building like The Armstrong!
