We're an older couple and were there to visit our son and his family, and our grands. We were a little apprehensive when we saw how small the Glenwood Springs Inn was. Then we stayed there for 4 nights. We never went into the complementary continental breakfast facility, so we can't speak to it. It looked nice when looking in the windows. The staff was GREAT! They were helpful when we needed them! Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again!

The only complaint I have about the room is that the shower/tub is pretty small. You can't even set a bar of soap or a bottle of shampoo on the shelves of the fiberglass tub/shower insert. They did the best they could given the size of the bathroom. The other thing we didn't like was the pot smoking of people on the opposite side of where we were staying. We came back one night and there were several people smoking pot and the smell is gross. I'm allergic to regular cigarette smoke, so basically most 'smoke'. I don't think that I would have been appreciative, had I been staying there with children, so I don't know how families would feel about it.

When we first pulled up I was disappointed that it was a motel and not a hotel as we have had bad experiences at motels in the past. But we were pleasently surprised at how quiet it was in our room during the night. The beds and pillows were comfy. There was plenty of hot water. It was close to the biking trail along the Colorado River. We did not have breakfast due to food allergies.

The fan was a bit noisey. The cost $178 was a bit high. The breakfast items only consisted of waffles and packaged pastries

The place is a classic motel, but what it lacks in character, it makes up for in cleanliness, attentiveness and care by the owners. They're a family run business and they go out of their way to make it comfy, clean and pleasant. the breakfast was somewhat typical, but yet little things to make it better were apparent like how the eggs were cooked and what breads they offered. It was a nice little place to stay to not spend a lot.

Only thing I might suggest is to scrap the use of styrofoam cups for coffee. I know they're cheap, but it's such an environmental faux pas in a place that prides itself in being environmentally aware.

It's family owned and pleasant, this was my second stay at the property. The room had everything I needed and was comfortable. Also the breakfast selection was quite good and the eggs were boiled perfectly.

Everything was fine

Great location and view. Helpful/kind staff offered us discounted tickets to multiple attractions. Tasty breakfast. Comfortable room with nice seating area out front under overhang to take in views and watch storms come in. Ample parking. Amazing location within walking distance to every major attraction and eatery.

Opening up the breakfast room a half-hour earlier would have been ideal. End tables for both sides of the bed is our preference, but I don't think there was space. Immediately pestered us for a review multiple times in rapid succession, which was annoying while we were still traveling elsewhere in Colorado. I'm sure this is an automated process, but it should be tweaked.

The lady at the counter was very helpful and kind. She moved two cars to other parking spaces so that I could fit my box truck in the parking lot. My room was very clean and smelled fresh. It was very quiet. I got plenty of sleep. The mattress was very comfortable. If I had not been working, I would have stayed longer. Very nice hotel and a really great price. I highly recommend choosing this hotel. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Nothing. It was as close to perfect as a hotel can get. Thank you, again, for the wonderful stay.

If taking the train, it is walkable! We drove this trip because we missed our train! We had a simple room, one bed a fridge, microwave. breakfast is 0700 ~ 0900 hrs every morning ~ hard boiled eggs, cereal, breads, and my favorite is making my own waffles with peanut butter!!! The hotel is quiet and close to all the things we like to do. We went to the vapor caves, Iron Mountain hot springs, and we saw the Vaudeville show. There is a Mexican restaurant across the street and it is pretty good. All amazing and close enough to walk. Also a Qdoba and a convenience store. Plenty of different places to eat and some even deliver. We drove over to Carbondale on Saturday and it was dandelion days! Vendors selling snacks and good, live music. We stopped at Jalisco for dinner and that meal was amazing. The coleslaw that came with the salsa and chips was scrumptious. My chicken meal had poblano peppers, cheese, and I added roasted jalapeños! Ridiculous how good it was! Planning our winter trip right now!

The only thing I can think of would be to have a bigger TV. It is nice to kick back and relax in the room after walking all day but that screen is pretty small. More pillows as well. We had three. I know we could have called for more but we made due.

It felt like home when we walked through the door. The up to date decor was beautiful and the beautiful cozy comforter/quilt was inviting to snuggle up in and relax watching a good movie. The gal at the front desk was very friendly to talk with and made sure everything was just right. And the bonus of discounted hot springs tickets

We think the breakfast food was a little under whelming. You could use a little more variety of eats for breakfast. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Luxury Inn was a solid location in the heart of Silverthorne, offering easy access to both Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin (both about 15-20 minutes away). The facilities and rooms were clean and adequate. The hotel also offered an indoor pool/hot tub as well as a simple but solid continental breakfast.

The continental breakfast was a little lackluster, offering only bread/bagels, cereal, and juice. I think there could be a bit more offered / I'd expected more after hearing prior reviews. Otherwise, the parking lot and entryways could've been better plowed and were fairly icy / bumpy as a result of weeks of compacted snow.

The location was convenient off I-70. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Nice bigger refrigerator with a freezer than most hotels have. Missed breakfast, as it was only open 7a-9a. My suggestion would be to close it at 10a for those who may have had a long drive the night before. Beautiful view of the mountains across the street. There is an adventure park or something like that across the street that takes you up a mountain in a cable car.

Just breakfast extended one hour later. Other than that, highly recommend.
