Nice room, and bath.

Thought pet friendly meant all pets, not just service animals. Toilet was too low, should be updated to high boy toilets. Extra cost for guest parking was a bit much when you already paying for a room, parking should be free for paying guests. Not sure families would agree to stay because of all the incidental fees. Also, if your truly Pet friendly, then you need a small fenced in dog park to walk dogs. If you had one, we couldn’t find it. Star Bucks needs to be open longer than 4:00 pm.

The first room we went in was on first floor near construction of the garage and it smelt moofy I told the front desk and they moved us to a wonderful room on 11 th floor it was 1000 times better the manager even came over to make sure we were satisfied he was wonderful !! He even sent my sister some cheese and wine when we told him it was her 60 birthday ! Much appreciated

The staff in the lobby were absolutely fantastic. Service at both breakfast and the bar were very friendly and served good food and beverages. The coffee place next to the elevators offers a good option to grab something for the road. Location is great, downtown Stamford - restaurants and bars are a few minutes walk away.

I have to knock the cleanliness - I have asked repeatedly to receive fresh towels and a clean set of sheets. I stayed for 8 night, they only managed to make up my room after night 7 for the last night. Shame, as otherwise the stay was very nice.

Location was amazing! Parking was easy and the front desk was more than helpful. Loved the food at the onsite restaurant and everyone was super friendly! Also liked that they were open late for us late night snackers :)

Room was dingy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned before we got there. There was a dried up contact and a fingernail on the bathroom floor and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were basically coming out of the ceiling. The room was FINE but it was definitely not as updated as I thought it would have been especially having stayed at other Marriotts and the rooms were much nicer for a lesser price.

The hotel is clean and staff friendly and professional. We stayed overnight for a show in Norwalk, so we didn't get much more from the stay than a comfortable bed and good nights sleep. The location is perfect for being in the area.

I was slightly worried about the few negative reviews I had read,but was pleasantly surprised.The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean.The hotel itself inside is a bit old fashioned but no problem there.Parking was very easy in their car park.Easy to walk into town and restaurants.We had a meal at the Capital Grille which was very nice but expensive.

Couldn't find any fault with our one night stay

The parking elevator for the third floor was not working and we had to carry our bags down and when leaving walk up. No reflection on hotel. The receptionist were friendly and helpful

Absolutely zero communication although I sent two messages. The stay was fine, but you should respond to your customers. You're the freaking Marriott.

After reviews indicated property was worn down, I was pleasantly surprised to experience how adequate and average it was. Dog friendly, staff warm and welcoming.

Dining venues dull and unimaginative. Service average though trying to please. Food choice fair.

Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was clean and had a heated pool. It had a well-equipped gym. They even had guest laundry facilities which was very helpful for solo travelers like me who pack light. The location was awesome. It was close to the train station and to downtown Stamford. There was even a spa and a transport agency within hotel premises. They also had free tourist brochures of various US spots.

Nothing comes to mind. I would consider staying at the Stamford Marriott again given the chance.
