Had been wanting t get back t Microtel for quite a while. Looked forward to being there. Was up to visit Family for Thanksgiving weekend. Last year and the year before we could not get reservations but was able to get them, was very excited!

We were locked out of our room 2 nights in a row. We had to have the front desk accommodate us getting into our room. We signed in and went to visit our daughter and family, but when we got back our door wouldn't lock or unlock. The front desk came up and got us in, then on the second day our key cards didn't work for our rooms, I went to the front desk again and was told that it was overlooked that we had booked for 2 nights instead of 3, and given a new keycard. Other than that the stay was very nice.

The staff was amazing. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was fantastic

Check in was a bit all over the place and we found the beds a bit hard personal choice also found it difficult to heat the room to a comfortable level middle of the night was always way to hot and heater was on the lowest setting need a bedside table on both sides of the bed

This hotel is located on a strip that has an abundance of everything from restaurants to various shops and grocery stores. Our rooms were spacious and CLEAN! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bedding was warm. I always travel with my own pillow and blanket but forgot to bring this time. My daughter loved the bench overtop the air conditioning unit and now wants one in her bedroom! Breakfast was good considering it was included, there were many options to choose from both cold and hot. I loved the 40 minute drive to the beach having the opportunity to sight see.

No fault of the property but I knew when I booked the rooms there wasn't a balcony thinking it wouldn't be so bad because the pool area had chairs and was open for a decent period of time. Low and behold it rained for the the first two days of my stay and the pool area was closed.

Everything was clean, I used to work in the hotel industry, so I always check things, especially the beds, and everything was great. The little night light attached to the hair dryer was very nice and helpful in the middle of the night.The front desk clerk who checked us in was very nice and helpful when we needed toothpaste. Breakfast was good, and the supply was kept up as it was needed.

Nothing.

Very clean overall, nice size room, breakfast was decent, room had mini fridge and microwave, free wi-fi, just right for what we needed....nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The 2nd night we had a problem with the toilet and they immediately switched us to a new room without any issues.

Water pressure in shower was too low, and it took forever to get hot enough. Comforters were lumpy, like the stuffing got all clumped together in small bunches.

The girl who checked me in was very nice and professional. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel is in a good location right off the main road,

Although the hotel location is great, it is on a very busy road and there is no traffic light so it is very difficult to get out of if you want to go south.

The room was very clean and well laid out. The bed was comfortable. Everything was in good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to be in or near Georgetown, so the location was good for us. We plan on being in the area again a few times over the next couple years and will likely stay here again.

The breakfast and the coffee was just ok.

Cleanliness of the hotel was noticeable from the moment you walked in. Smelled amazing, too. Breakfast was an added bonus w/24 hour coffee available. Beds were super comfortable and we loved the pool area.

The only complaint is the water pressure in shower but would not stop me from staying again. Great value for your money

Staff very friendly and cheerful. Facilities are basic (like only one lamp for the whole room) but tidy and well kept. Room was quiet and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Reasonable price and about 30+ minutes mostly nice ride on back roads to Cape Henlopen Park.

Most substantial breakfast item was an egg, cheese and sausage muffin. We don't eat meat so it would be nice to have a egg and cheese (no sausage) option. We just took off the piece of sausage and threw it away.

I needed a property that was reasonable in price and close to where I was going to be the next day. This hit on all accounts. The breakfast was much better than I expected. The options were great and always refilled.

There actually wasn't anything to mention here. One of the better hotel stays in years
