I have a bad back, so I'm very sensitive to my sleeping arrangements. The mattres and pillows were very soft and comfortable. I had no problems sleeping on these beds. The deck has a view of the bandstand if you stand near the side. We were able to hear the band very clearly and the kids could play in the pool if they're old enough. The pool is open 10a-10p. The hotel is just a few steps to the boardwalk. There are several restaurants right at the end of the block, a grocery store at the end of the block then down to the left one block (maybe 6 min walk), and a cafe across the street at the Sands hotel. The hotel offers free coffee and opened the lobby doors about 6:45am. Close to everything!

The floors in the room were very sandy. I had housekeeping clean them on our first full day but it didnt help. Some sand is something I sort of expect staying by the ocean, but this was a lot of sand. They use an old fashioned broom and dustpan. May be helpful to use a regular vaccuum for the sand, I'm not sure. We had to wear shows in the room and clean our feet any time we got into bed.

beach access excellent...very short walk to the boardwalk and beach. wonderful beds with lots of pillows and powerful AC. plenty of hot water and they provided many bathroom essentials. free parking on site and found a spot right away.

no steps into the pool, only ladder access which is hard if you are older or have physical challenges. really need some steps into the pool!!! pool area felt a little dirty. bathroom was pretty small. they should downsize the vanity area and expand the bathroom but i guess that would be expensive to do.

Property was beautiful, clean, and very convenient location to the beach and boardwalk! Even better that we had a beautiful view of the ocean on the 4th floor and the pool a small walk around the corner. The staff are all super friendly and we love how clean the property is! The pool was great as well and we loved everything about our trip! Price is also very affordable. My husband and I are very satisfied with our experience here and will happily stay again! :)

Location was key and I was surprised how quiet it was outside as I had expected it to be in a busy area, mere steps to the boardwalk and beach. Parking seemed intimidating but was super easy and spaces were not as tight as other places. The staff was pleasant and active.

Room was not as clean as other places (used coffee packet in maker, microwave with food residue, floor was greasy underfoot). The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very loud. Pillows were uncomfortable.

Only a 1 minute walk to the boardwalk. I could see the ocean from the balcony. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly.

Room window did not open for fresh air. A window that opens only a few inches for security would be nice. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. An overpowering disinfectant or odor-controlling scent permeated the room and I could not air the place out with sealed window and no exhaust fan. Room and bathroom was smaller than anticipated.

This hotel is in a fantastic location for families visiting Rehoboth Beach. It is near one end of the boardwalk so the arcades and such are not in your face but are only a short walk away. The beach was only a 2 min walk for my two little kids - couldn't ask for more convenience. On site parking for 1 vehicle is in a raised lot, not on street.

I do not have anything negative to say about our room or our stay. However, we are not consistent beach goers so we don't have all the "stuff" that is nice to have - I would have loved the option to borrow or rent chairs/umbrellas/etc at a discount from the beach prices.

Location was great. Walking distance to beach, boardwalk, shops and restaurants Points off due to the construction. But the hotel has nothing to do with that. We didn’t have an ado Not Disturb/No Service sign for our room. Water pressure was excellent. But the curved shower curtain led to water all over the floor after every shower. So maybe 2 floor towel’s would be good.

I love the location! My husband & I have stayed at the Admiral for many yrs- It never disappoints! We started coming here yrs ago when our children were young and we continue to frequent this hotel as a couple.

I wish that the check in time wasn’t so late in the day, but that is always an issue no matter where you go. Understandable. Also, on some occasions, we are only able to stay for one night, but have been told there is a two night minimum. I don’t think this should be the case in the off season especially if we are frequent guests. On these occasions, we have had to book with another property but my first choice is always the Admiral.

Great value and a wonderful location. A bit dated and essentially a no frills hotel that did the job of providing us a place to sleep as expected. Did have an issue with our key pad not working that took some time to resolve, but, nothing dire.
