We loved everything about the property. We had an amazing beach view. It was awesome

Our bathroom was probably the only thing that was not excellent but it was still good. When you stood in the shower the floor made a loud pop sound and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working correctly or extremely loud. Otherwise everything was amazing.

The room had a great view of both directly out to the ocean and down the beach - fantastic. The hotel was located in a great spot, with shops, and restaurants, an easy walk away. The location of the hotel was great as well a short drive to the Delaware Seashore State Park in one direction and Rehoboth Beach in the other direction. Provided you wanted to leave this awesome beach hotel! The staff was very helpful, and the accommodations were great.

We arrived later than expected, and there was no one at the front desk. They left clear check-in instructions via text messages, but when we arrived, the parking for the hotel was full, and had to park down the street. Once again, not a big thing, but a little cumbersone.

The Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel provided a very reasonable price for a great room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and ocean. As a bird watcher within twenty minutes I saw nine new species of birds for our trip list by just looking out the windows at what was flying and feeding along the shore and in the ocean. The room was very cozy and well appointed with chairs, a table, and a sofa with large table. The protected parking and the dumbwaiter for carrying luggage upstairs were added benefits. There are many excellent restaurants in nearby Rehoboth.

The speed bumps on the street made no sense in the winter and one was so close to the traffic light it made no sense at all. Access to the rooms from parking is definitely a problem for anyone handicapped as the first level involves eighteen very narrow stairs. There are railings on both sides which do help and the dumbwaiter is great for moving luggage.

This "mini" suite was perfect for one person. Everything was there that I needed. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was lovely. I loved having a table to sit at to enjoy breakfast, and I opened the window to listen to the waves. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plan ahead for breakfast as there is no continental one provided.

That I couldn't stay longer. I was on the first floor and had a heavy stepper in the room above me, could hear every step and the furniture dragging from one end to the other. So that was disappointing. I'll maybe ask for a top floor next time. Management did not seem surprised when I mentioned it. It wont keep me away, just something to be aware of. Also, many steps to go as I don't recall seeing an elevator.

The staff was very friendly, they gave us some champagne and popcorn for our anniversary. The hotel was nice and has a lot of character. The location is perfect and it was amazing waking up to the gorgeous beach sunrises and falling asleep to the sound of waves.

Our room was a little dirty. There was still sand on the floor from the previous people and the back of the bed where the headboard is was super dusty and dirty. It doesn’t look like they clean the box spring cover either which makes me worried about any bugs that could easily get in there.

Myself and two of my children stayed @ this hotel over 10 yrs ago. We loved the magnificent view of the beach and ocean, that we remembered the exact room number! We all said we would return one day in the future! Well fast forward ten years...and one young adult child says let's go back to that hotel and enjoy the beachfront view and especially the sound of the waves! We did and I thank the Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel with providing us with fond memories once again!

Everything was good, even though we climbed 3 flights of stairs. My husband's a heart patient now, but he didn't seem to mind.

Loved the room it’s large and comfortable, even with the side view of the water, it was wonderful, the windows are large and have a spectacular view. the property is right on the water and the beach is lovely. I thought the staff was phenomenal.

The only thing I was disappointed in was that booking put that there was a patio and included that in the room information. There is a patio, but it’s down by the pool.

The view was spectacular and 2 minute walk to that view! The room pristine clean. Many amenities. Staff was super nice and accommodating — they even had a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne and a Happy Birthday sign for me! It was beautiful. Just a small FYI - right now there is loud construction on the property from 9-5pm. Don’t know how long it will last but might be weeks… I went 5/20/24. But if you’re out during the day - no problem. Thank you Surf Club! Loved it!

The room was nice to look at and was comfortable. The AC seemed to keep the room cooled down. The bathroom could use a little esthetic love and maybe some new caulk around the seams. The bright white walls were nice to walk into. The kitchen was functional with accessories. The coffee maker worked (may need to upgrade to Kuerig someday). The fridge was decently sized and held everything we needed to be cooled. The walk to the beach was easy as pie and made it nice to get an early start to beat the crowds.

I think just some minor touch up work here and there would help give the rooms an even better feel. New Light fixtures, paint, caulk, shower doors etc.

This is our second time staying here & once again We had an ocean front view room. Can’t beat the view! The rooms are so roomy& comfortable! The staff was super nice as well.

Limited parking at the actual hotel. We ended up parking at their guest house a few houses down. But with everything being walkable from the hotel, we didn’t even need our car at all so it ended up being fine.& luckily there were some open spots when checking out so we didn’t have to take our luggage far to load the car.
