We loved everything about the property. We had an amazing beach view. It was awesome

Our bathroom was probably the only thing that was not excellent but it was still good. When you stood in the shower the floor made a loud pop sound and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working correctly or extremely loud. Otherwise everything was amazing.

Room was exactly as described and as pictured. Staff was very friendly and professional. Everything was very clean. They even vacuumed in the corners on each floor midweek. Such attention to detail. Pool was cleaned daily. Hotel is so close to everything we walked to everything we needed. The beach entrance is right outside the hotel door. Dvd player in room with lots of movies in office to choose from. Nice size fridge. Extra pillows, blankets, and towels are available. Just ask.

Advertised as soundproof rooms. They definitely aren't soundproof. Will get a room on the top floor next time. Difficult to control the temp with the A/C unit. Kitchenette had minimal utensils and cookware. Definitely bring your own favorites. Could use outlet updating, thankfully we brought an extension cord.

This was Exactly what we wanted - comfortably large rooms that felt more like having a studio apartment by the sea - and with lovely views of the beach. The seafront room was lovely, and the room on the side of the building (We got a top floor one) had an even lovelier view southward down along the shore. The rooms were well-appointed, perfectly clean, and the staff were really nice people to interact with. Dewey Beach is quieter than Rehobeth downtown, but still had great cafes and restaurants right on the corner. Perfect - it felt like living an ideal life by the sea for a night.

Nothing Bad - we kind of wanted to just move here!

It was a great location right next to the ocean. The view was beautiful. The pool was great and the staff were nice.

We rented bikes, and unfortunately, they were stored where there was no cameras locked up in a bike rack and were stolen. It didn’t seem like the staff really cared. We asked if they could look at the cameras and they said they would and we heard nothing and they said nothing after that. Don’t rent bikes. They said it was safe and no one has ever taken bikes before, but that is untrue.

We had the ocean view and it was wonderful! We could see the beach and the water from our room. The path to the beach was right next to the property. So, we could just walk to the beach anytime and enjoy it. The rooms were very spacious. It had all the necessary amenities to stay comfortably (Keurig coffee maker, full-size Refrigerator, and Microwave. It also had plates, bowls, cups/glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc., so we could order/make food and eat in our hotel room while enjoying the view.

Parking was limited. We got lucky and got parking at the site. However, you will need to park at the other location if you didn't get parking. While it was an inconvenience, it's not a deal-breaker. The benefits of the room and location far outweigh this inconvenience.

We were pleasantly surprised. We booked from the car not expecting the room to be as nice as it was. Check in was easy and pleasant staff. Facility was probably built in the 60's or 70's with parking on the ground and rooms above. Our large room had a floor to ceiling window view of the ocean, just a few steps from the sand. Room had a sofa seating area, table by the window and comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully equiped with med size refrigerator, cooktop and microwave. Loved that the floor was vinyl plank and not carpet too (carpet gets musty by the beach).

The Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel provided a very reasonable price for a great room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and ocean. As a bird watcher within twenty minutes I saw nine new species of birds for our trip list by just looking out the windows at what was flying and feeding along the shore and in the ocean. The room was very cozy and well appointed with chairs, a table, and a sofa with large table. The protected parking and the dumbwaiter for carrying luggage upstairs were added benefits. There are many excellent restaurants in nearby Rehoboth.

The speed bumps on the street made no sense in the winter and one was so close to the traffic light it made no sense at all. Access to the rooms from parking is definitely a problem for anyone handicapped as the first level involves eighteen very narrow stairs. There are railings on both sides which do help and the dumbwaiter is great for moving luggage.

The room had a great view of both directly out to the ocean and down the beach - fantastic. The hotel was located in a great spot, with shops, and restaurants, an easy walk away. The location of the hotel was great as well a short drive to the Delaware Seashore State Park in one direction and Rehoboth Beach in the other direction. Provided you wanted to leave this awesome beach hotel! The staff was very helpful, and the accommodations were great.

We arrived later than expected, and there was no one at the front desk. They left clear check-in instructions via text messages, but when we arrived, the parking for the hotel was full, and had to park down the street. Once again, not a big thing, but a little cumbersone.

This "mini" suite was perfect for one person. Everything was there that I needed. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was lovely. I loved having a table to sit at to enjoy breakfast, and I opened the window to listen to the waves. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plan ahead for breakfast as there is no continental one provided.

That I couldn't stay longer. I was on the first floor and had a heavy stepper in the room above me, could hear every step and the furniture dragging from one end to the other. So that was disappointing. I'll maybe ask for a top floor next time. Management did not seem surprised when I mentioned it. It wont keep me away, just something to be aware of. Also, many steps to go as I don't recall seeing an elevator.

We liked the spacious, comfortable room with a kitchenette so we could enjoy hot drinks like tea or soup, anytime. We loved the table and chairs by the large window where we could relax and enjoy the view, beach and sunrise! [if you were lucky and got an oceanfront room.]

The beach side hotel with 4 levels has no elevator, though there is a very handy dummy waiter to transport your luggage. If you are mobile and can do 3 flights of stairs, this is not an issue.
