Room was very attractive, clean and welcoming. Parking was right outside. Coffee and tea available in the morning. Quiet location away from main hustle and bustle but a lengthy walk to the beach. Daily room service on request otherwise you're on your own. Extra sheets etc available in basement.

The mini fridge ice box door couldn't close because it needed serious defrosting. Outside the front of the building it looked as if it had been some time since the leaves etc had been cleaned up. This was also the case by the small pool. No elevator so if you stay upstairs you have to carry everything up. No safe in the room.

No keys!!! No room cards!!! We felt so safe. Clean, comfortable and a nice, quiet location just close enough to all of the action!!! We will definitely be back!!! Next time, with our pups!!

I was confused by some of the description of the kitchen. I thought the room itself was more of an efficiency. Stopped at the grocery store to buy some groceries, and didn't use most of them. We were also confused by the refrigerator in the kitchen. Was that for everyone to use? Was it storage for food of the current guests? We left a few items behind in the hopes that others could use it, but it wasn't very clear if that was what it is for. Seems insignificant, but it would be nice to know.

The location was great in terms of being very close to shops, restaurants, and bars in downtown Rehoboth. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, so you need to plan ahead to make sure you bring everything with you. The hotel itself was quiet, and had a really nice cottage type of feeling where people were super friendly and laid back. The staff was fantastic and responded very quickly to any questions. The hotel provided great amenities for the beach at no charge such as beach chairs, umbrellas, carts, and bikes. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and had a fridge/microwave which is always appreciated. We requested housekeeping on the second day and they didn’t show up, so that impacted our rating somewhat. The contactless check in and check out was extremely efficient and easy. Overall a very nice place to stay in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

It was a bit of a long walk to the beach in the heat, but it didn’t bother me much at all. Housekeeping didn’t show up when requested on one of our days.

First and foremost, the Canalside Inn welcomes dogs, providing little pet amenities in the room! That is hard to find in the Rehoboth hotel/inn choices. Its location across from the main canal in a residential neighborhood behind makes for a quiet scenic location. And it is an easy walk, less than a mile, into the main street shops & restaurants area downtown. This particular January stay was very off-season (we were the only ones there!) with lots of snow but our golden retriever loved it! It is not a big place in terms of rooms which is also nice. And it has a nice downstairs guest kitchen/den like area to hang out in. All other pet-friendly options are miles away on the main highway.

The Inn does not have your conventional front desk and onsite staff as other places might so if you require this, it might be an issue. As this was winter, perhaps it is different in the summer months. That being said, offsite staff are a call away and responsive. Also note that it is a stairs only access to second floor rooms if that is an issue. Also the bathroom in our king executive room was small.

Great location, easy walk to Rehoboth Ave, quiet area, easy check in and out. Dog friendly for our 2 dogs who loved the stay!

The room we had didn’t have many surfaces - we had 2 night stands and a small corner table which made it difficult when feeding the pups or wanting to place stuff on tables in the room.

The location was perfect. I loved the peace and quiet.

I was in room #5, and the shower was not cleaned well from the previous guests. There were long strings of hair on the shower floor, and the shower walls should have been sprayed with mold remover to remove the black mold in between the tiles.

I loved my room! And the location is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, but still so close to local beaches, shopping and restaurants. They have cute chairs/tables outside each room where I enjoyed a cup of coffee and listened to birds singing each morning. They thought of nice additions, such as a wine opener in the room and a cute little basket with goodies for purchase. I also really appreciated the keyless entry - so nice not to have to make sure you have your key when leaving your room. I liked the way they kept in touch via text throughout my stay and were really responsive to messages.

The location was quiet, yet close enough to walk to the boardwalk. The rooms were immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The outside area was a great place to relax. There were bikes and beach chairs to borrow.

The back deck, around the pool and hot tub, needs repair.

The communication was excellent, and the location was very close to Rehobeth Beach but you would not have know because it was just off the main roads enough.

There is not much that could have been better but we would like to have stayed longer. But there is always next time.

The space is charming, comfortable, and clean. The location is ideal if you love to walk and enjoy beautiful scenery. The common areas are inviting and everything needed is at the ready.
