There were a few hiccups that fell short of the otherwise high standards. Upon arrival, the kitchen appliances needed a thorough wipe-down, which was disappointing. The ice maker didn’t work, and the bathroom sink had a stubborn clog and we had to call maintenance. Despite these small setbacks, Ocean Suites provided a relaxing and memorable getaway. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene escape by the sea.

Friendly staff, amazing location, and the hotel was stunning. Loved the pool and being beachfront. This is a dog friendly hotel, and we love our pets! We do not travel with our pets because they tend to bark when alone. The room next to us had a dog barking non-stop from 4 pm to the past 9 pm.. We did call the front desk and they offered to move us but our youngest child had fallen asleep. I was contacted by the general manager within 24 hours, and he apologized profusely. The hotel did all the could to try and make it right. This is not a fault of the hotel, but pet parents should be more responsible when traveling. I highly commend the response of the hotel as they took our complaint seriously and followed up quickly. Would definitely stay again!

very comfortable and clean room with great view. Quiet time of year and excellent breakfast with coffee available all day! Warmly greeted by parking security guard and gentleman at front desk ( probably the manager) was very helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect.

selection of tv channels was limited and no pool chairs on beach. The roof indoor pool needed to be skimmed - many bugs. I wish the bar was up and running.

Location was great, right on the boardwalk. The room was a nice size with a balcony and view of the beach/ocean. Breakfast was awesome. It was the same everyday except they switched out Pancakes for French Toast.

They charge for parking, even in the off season. I got charged and didn't even park in the garage. I used the free street parking (free after September 15th). Check in time was supposed to be 4 PM, but we didn't get in our room until after 5 PM! No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Awesome location. Staff, including Mark & Emu (sp?), were VERY good. Convenient parking & bar staff is great.

It took two times & 1+ days for a pile of towels & used glasses right outside the door near the desk to be picked up!! For a beach location- bathrooms should have more towel bars. A/C sounds like a jet reving up for take off. Breakfast was ‘ok’. Wonder if hotel management believes in MBWA - management by wondering around. My guess is no. FYI: believe Bethany Beach has done a great job being a summer beach destination with shopping center, numerous beach access, porter potties a each beach ramp, foot wash stations & security & life guards. Info on line says you have beach chairs & umbrellas- nothing about on beach rentals at substantial cost - should have bought our own. Don’t mean to be negative- just observations.

The location is amazing, you are right next to the beach and boardwalk and the main shopping area, I enjoyed being walking distance from the cafes and bakeries and souvenir shops. The room I had was very clean and didn't have that weird mildewy smell being by the water. Excellent !

The staff were extremely kind. Tony was very good to me and my husband. We felt extremely happy with the service.

The pool area could use some upgrading. For the hotel itself to be as amazing as it is it seemed as though the pool area did it fit with the hotel. Some new painting and flooring will fix the issue. It just needs to be more modernized.

Ocean front very nice room!

Woman checking me in was obviously very new. Said my credit card wasn’t accepted so I gave another one. Come to find out the first one was accepted. Was there a long time. 3 people checked in with the other clerk while I was checking in. Found out she was new. Maybe she shouldn’t have been checking people in alone yet!!

We arrived earlier and the gentleman for car tag was very nice , welcome us promptly and said our room is available for check in. I was happy about that we didn’t have to wait few more hours check in. The distance to the beach is good.

Waiting on the front desk to check in ? wait was bit too long due to staff shortages as one lady mentioned.

The staff was amazing! Every single person was couteous and helpful. There was some construction occurring so the dining and bar was not available. However the staff steered us to excellent restaurants. They also upgraded our room to an oceanfront with beautiful views from nside and the balcony. It as spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy. Breakfast offerings decent and plentiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Shower head sprayed all over, and no shower cap as supplied. Too late to request one, as I as already in shower. But that's it!
