Location great. Staff nice. Easy beach access. Beautiful outdoor pool area. Smelled very nice throughout the hotel and staff did good job keeping up with wet floors and cleaning.

Outdoor pool closes at 8. Wish it was later for that one. There were very rowdy kids there for Lacrosse tournaments and it wasn’t the hotels fault, but they made it not enjoyable in the indoor pool area screaming, splashing, had kids on each others shoulders in smaller indoor pool knocking each other over, leaving trash, running around hotel soaking wet with no towels, and then also some teenagers jumping in the outdoor pool and hot tub straight from ocean with sand all over them. Some things could use updated in hotel rooms but it was clean.

The Holiday inn in Ocean City is a classic. Pull up location, the amenities are perfect, it's everything you need for a relaxing vacation with the family or with somebody close to you, or in case a gas explosion destroys your apartment and blows up everything you own and the stubborn stupid and cheap leadership of the city for whom you work can't get off their completely moronic asses to do anything about it for 10 weeks. And you have to get away or else your sanity will break and you're having chest pains and even your psychiatrist is telling you oh my God book of trip to the ocean.

Nothing really

We were on the 1st floor with view of the pool area. The beach access is great from this hotel, room was nice, little dated but comfortable for our stay. Had a small kitchen area and full size fridge. Right next to house for the Believe in tomorrow beach house where our grandchild was staying for the week and we were able to spend time with them. It is in good walking distance to restaurants, areas to shop and the Italian restaurant in the hotel was delicious. Close to a bus stop where you can catch the bus to go to the boardwalk or where ever you need so you do not have to pay the expensive parking fee to get to that area of town. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and recommend using this facility.

Floor was dirty but due to beach location understandable, restaurant closed a 9, been nice if a little later, also restaurant was not equipped to provide enough change for a one hundred dollar bill.

The outdoor pool and amenities were wonderful. The live bands on the weekend were fun to listen to. Beach access is very convenient. Could use more foot washing stations. The location of the hotel is very convenient and has lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had a partial ocean view and it was perfect. The balcony was great to sit on. The lobby was nice and updated. The staff at the front were polite. The Taste of Italy restaurant was nice and has delicious food and efficient service. It is a tad noisy.

The room's carpet was damp when we arrived, it had a wet kind of musty smell that was not nice at all. Our room (411) has been updated, but that carpeting needs to be ripped out and replaced as it looks to be the old carpet. The elevators and most of the building is obviously older and could use new carpets and lots of renovating. There were very loud fans constantly running in the hallways off the lobby, but that seems to be something that needs to be addressed as it is inconvenient as far as noise level and the cords being tripping hazards. The pool deck looks nice, but it is slippery.

Liked outdoor amenities. Layout and gronds were very nicely landscaped. Pool bar and grill and bar were very convent to pool. Like both the sun deck and sandy areas behind the pool very nice backdrop behind both areas

Thought pool was the very crowded and to many people saving chairs at 9:00 and not actually showing up until hours after to actually use the he seats. Thought a smaller pool and hot tub could have been used. Seemed to be room over behind bar and grill beyound the fire pit. Separate place for small children to play and swim

Location was great. Pool area was very nice.

Booked a “Garden View” room which online shows overlooking the pool area. Our room faced the side street and the adjacent hotel. When I asked the front desk, I was told it was the Garden Street view. Not at all what was described or expected. Also we had to wear shoes in the room the whole time or our feel/socks turned black. The carpet was nasty.

The breakfast closed too early at 10:00 am. We missed breakfast the first day. The next morning we ordered an egg sandwich and coffee. Hash browns were delicious, egg sandwich was in need of more flavor. The restaurant for dinner was delicious. The chicken Parmesan was huge. Shrimp scampi was wonderful.

Longer hours for breakfast. The hotel rooms need updating. There were rips in the curtains and bed skirt. Carpet is old and smells. Air conditioning is cold but not cold enough, felt humid inside

The new outdoor pool area was beautiful and a very nice surprise-love the choice of salt water for the pool and the hot tub!! Snack bar staff was friendly. I like the "midtown" location and being right on the beach.

The room could use some updating, specifically the sticky carpet. A nice wooden floor would be nice and maybe easier to keep clean. The prices at the snack bar were a bit high, but I realize we are paying for the convenience. When we checked in, the staff member basically just gave us the key cards - didn't speak about any of the amenities, didn't even mention the renovated pool deck area.

The pool and jacuzzi outside are very nice.

For one thing the price of the food, for example, the chicken tenders alone are $14. That’s extremely expensive for four chicken tenders. Especially after spending $1900 to stay 4 nights. Also, the price to stay there has increased every year and the only thing that’s improved has been the outside pool. They need to put some money into the rooms themselves. The beds are awful and the kitchens need upgrades.

Beautiful resort, loved chairs and umbrellas at the pool, swings were a unique touch.

Loud inebriated guests both nights we were there sitting around the fire pit. First night, it appeared to be underage guests throwing rocks into the pool from the fire pit. We also saw them throwing things from balcony from top floor. It was hard to enjoy our balcony for the disturbance they caused day or night. We reported them one evening and management came quickly and closed fire pit.
