Everything. The location. The staff. The cleanliness. The convenience of so many places close by to do. We just are so glad we found this location. I will return and recommend to everyone.

The only thing would be no daily house cleaning. You have to request it. That may be normal now a days. It was just different for us. But once we found out, we had to request it. It was not a problem at all. And we didn't need it every day. We just had to prepare for it cause we had a pet with us. So we sat one whole day in our room waiting for house cleaning, and they never showed up. So we wasted a whole day of beach time. Or going to get something to eat. But once we asked when they were going to be coming to our room. That was when we found out you have to request it. But it all worked out after that one day.

Very nicely renovated in a retro style. Lots of cute features and details. The front desk / manager, Shay, was lovely and super helpful with any lodging requests or questions we had about the local area. The location is great, with direct access to the beach and close to several shops and restaurants. It is not super close to the boardwalk, but for $4 (in exact cash) you can easily access the bus and ride down that way (5-10 min walk to the bus stop, no more than 10 min ride to the boardwalk area of OC). The SeaLoft has nice facility options on location, such as an outdoor pool… and their sister property, ALoft (bayside, across the main road from SeaLoft, 10 min walk), has an indoor pool and other amenities the SeaLoft lacks. There is ample parking right around the building, with additional options provided by the front desk if nothing is open. We really enjoyed the SeaLoft and recommend to anyone (couples, families, etc.) for a relaxing stay!

VERY CLEAN room, safe, on the ocean, clean beach, elevator, extra friendly staff, loved the retro phone, clock, and fridge. Simply LOVED the room and the screen to the balcony!! Watched surfers from our balcony. We rented 4 wheeling chairs that went over the sand easily since I had a stroke and unable to walk on the sand it was a lot of fun!

pool wasn't heated, beach chairs weren't available (off season even though the weather was beautiful) although they have a sister resort to swim indoors I didn't use it unfortunately.

Parking was horrible. Need someone to police the area. Tons of cars parked without badge hanging from window. We never found a parking spot until the mornings.

Ocean view was great. Loved that the balcony had a screen door, we were able to have the door open & not worry about bugs getting in. The bed was comfortable and lots of room.

Linens didn't fit the bed so they kept coming off or shifting. Ice maker wasnt working. When front desk worker was told she said yes it is and nothing else. We were in town for a festival, when asked about transportation available, she wasnt very informed. It was also very hard to understand her despite asking her to clarify what she said.

We arrived after 10pm. Ahmed was very helpful. The room was very retro and had lots of space Very cute decor.. The balcony had 2 chairs. However, I could probably fit more *spacious.The side view was perfect. It was a rainy weekend so we didn't have a chance to use the beach chairs and umbrellas. We did use Aloft for the indoor pool and other amenities. Great sister property. The beds were comfortable.

We did not like the following: No good hot water pressure You can hear the people above you. I had to climb in the shower. The height of the tube was too high*deep tub for soaking*, but to take a shower, it was too high. The bathroom sink was clogged *Ahmed was supposed to get someone to check it. Saturday AM crew were rude.

The location is good, it was my second time there, the staff is very friendly, just a tip, they need to have more attention with the luggage carts, I had a terrible accident with them and my eye hurts a lot, I know it’s not entirely the hotel’s fault, but they should make some rules about leaving the car in a safe place

I think they need to check about the cleaning because the refrigerator it wasn’t really clean and the restroom supplies was empty

Recently renovated it looked new, and clean.The rooms were large with a fold out couch very comfortable for four people! The staff was helpful and courteous. Nice view of the beach from the balcony. Right on the beach! The pool was clean and I think heated. Free beach chairs provided and umbrella. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend! Only one parking pass per room. We found street parking for free for our 2nd car,the nights we were there

One suggestion. Don’t advertise pet friendly when you expect your guest to stay in room with pets. The beach doesn’t allow pets , the pool doesn’t allow pets. Your policy is pets can’t be left alone in rooms. I am a responsible pet owner and wouldn’t leave my pets alone for long periods of time. However if I’m booking a pet friendly hotel and paying a fee, I would hope I could go to beach and not worry about my pets .

I don't remember any breakfast offered at this location. However, the staff was friendly and easy to work with. This building was Super Clean and the rooms were kind of a throwback from the past with Retro Appliances and photos, but was fun and pretty cool.

The only issues I had, which was minor is..... I stayed in Room 112, which was located neat to the main lobby, and right near the entry door to the guest lobby. The door was very noisy and would startle me from time to time late-night. I think this needs to be addressed. As I'm sure it will be a common complaint in the near future.
