The location: Variety of restaurants and stores where one is sure of getting necessary valuables for comfort. The beach was just across the street on a walking distance. I love my room, very neat and cozy. The air conditioner worked very efficiently, the television, microwave all worked well. The heater did just good, we had hot water to bath. Extra towels. I love the meals served as complimentary breakfast. Fantastic. I love that check in was very quick, within a minute we were settled. The WiFi was great too. I love everything about my stay and will surely come back.

The towels were old. Weak and color change. Not too bad though but can be better.

The breakfasts were ok. Prefer scrambled eggs to the omelet like eggs. Loved the new coffee machines.

Alot of guests there which made the line waiting to get food long , so we either went out to eat breakfast three times during our stay or there wasn’t a lot of food selections left when we got downstairs. Food wasn’t hot all the time. Side note..very disappointed that on the day we arrived one bed had dirty linens. Didn’t realize until nighttime so we used only one of the beds that night. Had them replaced the next morning.

all went well as usual, Any problems we have encountered there were small and taken care of immediately, Phone connection was literally pulled out of the wall. Within the hour we had the staff looking at it and had to come back the next day to rewire the connection at the wall. Since we had cell phones that we could use the contact the front desk, in case of an emergency. We considered it a small problem but both the front desk and maintenance staff were very professional and more upset than we were.

Of course the price hike, that happens this time of year due to pre summer dates, We usually come in late fall and winter as it is quite and cheaper to be at OC.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Restrooms on first floor near lobby area could use some attention. They were not clean like the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was really flavorful, but area was small and full. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay. Also, very conveniently close to the beach. We were about 2 blocks from the beach.

The staff was amazing- the girls at the front desk, the cleaning lady and the older gentleman that tended the breakfast room. They were all so kind and really entertained the conversation from my two young boys. My 4 year old still requests that I buy the hotel so we can stay there more often.

The indoor pool was pretty small, but it served its purpose I suppose. I'm struggling to come up with another negative however, the staff there really make it a great place to stay.

Proximity to the beach was great. Also, the Northside Park with walking trail and pier right behind the hotel was a fun bonus. The breakfast was just what we needed to start our days! The outdoor pool was large, clean, and a peaceful break from the ocean waves.

It would be helpful to guests (and to cleaning staff too I think) if there was an easily accessible outdoor shower to get rid of sand before entering hotel.

breakfast choices were mediocre--omelettes were not great and that is what we had all 3 days. Sausage (both pork and turkey) had no color to them. The staff in the breakfast room were less than friendly when we asked if there was a microwave to heat the danish (which we wanted to do because it was hard). It is understandable if there is not a microwave in the breakfast room for guests to use, but it is not understandable or ok that the staff is irritated that a guest asks the question.

Location close to many other businesses, able to walk to for meals.

There was some food debris around the bed I didn’t see until the light of day the morning after checking in. It was cleaned up while I was gone for the day- I did mention it to the front desk staff as an “oh by the way”, not an actual concern.

The location was great; right next to a breakfast bagel shop if you missed the complimentary breakfast which ended at 9 ot 930. One block away from the beach and next door to a restaurant. Heated outdoor pool was great.

Wish the restaurant and hotel were combined. Would have liked a pool-side drink but we got to enjoy their live music.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Hotel was clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and food was good. We picked this hotel because it’s close to the Crab Bag (our favorite place for blue crabs). Then we found out from staff about the Winterfest. It was directly behind hotel and was awesome to go and see Christmas lights. The only the I didn’t like was the cold weather but they had no control over that (lol).
