Another Memorable Family Getaway at Marriott Sanibel! We had a wonderful experience at the Marriott Sanibel during our short family vacation. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality were exceptional. The Tarpon House and Courtside Steakhouse both exceeded our expectations. The staff at each restaurant were not only professional but also genuinely attentive, ensuring our experience was enjoyable and relaxed. The quality of the food matched the outstanding service, making dining a true highlight of our stay. The Spa team deserves special recognition—the atmosphere was serene, and the treatments were expertly delivered. It was a perfect way to unwind and recharge. A surprising gem of our trip was the tennis lessons with Ninka. Her energy, professionalism, and ability to engage at my level added an active and fun dimension to our vacation. Thank you to the entire Marriott Sanibel team for creating such a memorable and refreshing experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We did enjoy the dinner cruise on the Princess.

Staying 5 consecutive nights- we still had to pay the parking fee. Something to consider- Marriott waives this fee for returning patrons/ long stay. We enjoyed the room on the 11th floor, but was disappointed with the smallest balcony. Unfortunately we had ants in the bathroom and by the coffee table. We did mention this to the front desk. Asking for someone to spray.

Peaceful and Very beautiful, staff were kind , very accommodating, simply amazing! Pool was warm, clean ! Food was excellent, and many different options. Beautiful view from every room of the canal and Captiva Island. You do have options to rent jet skis and kayaks and they do have tennis, and pickle ball which we did not get time to take in. They also do yoga by the pool .. 😀 Definitely would stay again!!!

The only thing is I wish there were walking paths along the beach .. we love walking the beach so that was our only down fall of this property

Loved the location by the water. Great view from balcony and got to see dolphins all the time. Tarpon house restaurant was good. Best of all was all of the staff were amazing! Many thanks to Nick at front desk, Lauren at Tarpon House restaurant and Frank at Valet.

One of the tv’s didn’t work but maintenance did come and fix it. Bed was very uncomfortable. One side was sagging and my husband slept on sofa bed for 2 of 3 nights and I slept on sofa bed for last night.

Room view was spectacular, Pool was great as well. Room very comfortable and clean.

Food was not good. Had a few meals at the resort 1) breakfast and 2) ordered a veggie pizza. The pizza was awful -- it had so much cheese that the pizza was one white round circle and hardly. We didn't finish it and threw it away. Breakfast was so-so - nothing special. We were afraid to have any more meals during our stay -- afraid the same person was cooking in the kitchen.

Beautiful scenery

That I paid full price for a spa hotel and when I checked in I found out the spa was under renovation. Also I ordered dinner from restaurant in hotel. Filet mignon with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. The steak had no seasoning in it at all. Like they just threw it in the oven and cooked it. The fingerling potatoes. We're dried out and roasted without any seasoning either. Ice machine on my floor was broken. I called in the morning for water and coffee for my room and 3 hours later I still didn't have coffee. I get that they may be short staffed. But they shouldn't be charging the full Spa hotel price. It is a beautiful hotel and the views were magnificent

Overall a great resort experience.

When we booked the resort they failed to advertise that the main pool, which is the resort's focal point, was being refinished. They did have a pool on the side of the resort which was nice, but not what we saw in the resort advertisement. I will say the price was cheaper and now I'm guessing it's because the pool was closed.

The rooms are big and beds are comfortable. We flew so couldn't bring my fan but the hotel had one for us to use. The staff is so friendly and helpful.my daughter loved getting a facial at the spa

Wish there was more beach to lay on and go shelling

The view was gorgeous. We were able to see view of the pool, ocean and the Causeway bridge. The view from our room allowed us to see manatees, dolphins and a shark. But, the sunset during a storm was breath taking.

We were not allowed to walk on dock that is adjacent to the property. It was a private dock with a private yacht for touring. The next time we visit, we will take the tour and pay for access to the dock.

we loved the location and the view from the property. The staff were very friendly.

The beds are really uncomfortable. We also spent a lot of time by the pool and it was not clean. I saw plastic cups by the pool for a few hours and the employees by the pool did not pick them up.
