Location is perfect, could not be better. Right on the center of Duval St. so you can walk everywhere. Lovely grounds and pool area. Very kind attentive staff. Moderate fair price.

My particular room wasn’t super comfortable. It was maybe an attic space that was converted to a room with slanted ceilings and a 3/4 high wall to separate the bathroom from the sleeping area. Not even room for a small table w/ 2 chairs. We had our muffin and coffee sitting at the edge of bed off our night stands. Would come back but would need a better room.

Best Location and attentive staff. Bonus we were there during Songwriters Fest . We enjoyed music at our pool. Rented bikes and explored the city.

Breakfast wasn't much unless you want bread items. Lots of places to eat near by, though.

The location was easy to get to everything by walking about 15-20 minutes which was nice. They did have a parking spot for us to use, just couldn’t move the car or we would risk losing it. We didn’t need or want to use the car so it wasn’t an inconvenience but could be. The two pools were nice and all the common areas were clean.

Our room was not ready at 4:00 as promised so we had to wait another 45 minutes which affected our plans. When we went back 45 minutes later it still wasn’t ready. The front desk lady was super nice and apologetic about it but when we finally got back to the room which was tiny they were still cleaning it and were not at all friendly when we got there.

It's located on Duval Street, close to everything and within walking distance. The room is spacious, and there are two pools. The staff is friendly — even though it wasn’t check-in time yet, they helped us by storing our luggage. There was an ice machine and a vending machine. Great restaurants nearby and beautiful places to explore.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but I do think there’s room for improvement—especially with the breakfast. The only source of protein was hard-boiled eggs. It would have been nice to have some cheese (there was only cream cheese for the bagels), or maybe some sausage or ham. There were a lot of pastries and sweet options. As for fruit, there was only banana—maybe having an apple as well would have been nice. The coffee was delicious, and the orange juice too.

i loved the pool location and how it was set up, the room was amazing, very clean and spacious, the shower/bathroom was amazing. the sink was a bowl sink and had a very cool spout, shower was huge and had a good head, little shelf built in the corner for soaps, plenty of towels for my one night stay. very clean, and the air conditioning was perfect.

it was so hard to find the location of my room 😭 i got confused after i left the registration area and like walked way too far, but i ended up finding it and after walking around the area a bit it was easily to get used to

Our Room – #114, a Poolside Gem: We stayed in Room 114, tucked in the building behind the main office and overlooking the pool. This room (along with Room 115 next door) comes with a private little deck space and table—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation while watching the pool activity below. Inside, the room offered two comfy beds, a small sofa with a coffee table, and a handy kitchenette with a sink, mini-fridge, and microwave—just right for heating up leftovers or storing snacks. It wasn’t overly large, but it was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed.

Final Thoughts: At $734 for two nights, Wicker Guesthouse is a bit of a splurge compared to other Keys stays—but absolutely worth it for the unbeatable location, relaxing amenities, and homey vibe. Whether you're traveling with teens, a partner, or solo, this is a place I’d stay again in a heartbeat—just make sure to ask for Room 114 or 115!

We booked here last minute after another booking was cancelled on us, and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. We stayed in a beautiful guest cottage at the back of the property, perfectly equipped for a family. The welcome at the front desk was one of the warmest and kindest we have ever experienced — it instantly made us feel at home. The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of town, with everything on your doorstep. Breakfast was well appointed with plenty of choice. Overall, a wonderful venue in an amazing location — highly recommended.

The promotional description of the Buena Vista cottage should be changed to be more informative. We are fit but in our 70s and the narrow spiral staircase up to the “Buena Vista” (beautiful view) on the second floor prevented us from using it. I booked this unit specifically for the hot tub, so that was very disappointing not to be able to use it. Clients should be told NOTE: Visitors should be prepared to climb and descend a steep spiral staircase of __ steps to the hot tub on the second floor. I thought it would be on the ground floor outside our cottage. Also, the description mentions champagne/wine and there was none.

The Wicker Guesthouse is a series of adjacent buildings. We stayed next to the pool and the communal parking area. Excellent location on Duval Street, and parking is available. The pool was well maintained, and the complimentary breakfast was pleasant. It is located near the Hemingway House and Lighthouse.

Parking is a limited commodity in Key West. I did not like leaving my car keys with the front desk, but since they did not move my vehicle, it was okay.
