Even though the room is very small, it is highly functional. I especially loved the bed—I don’t remember sleeping so peacefully in a hotel room as I did here. The only comment I have is that every time I returned to my room, the blinds were closed, and there was a light—either blue or red—that was a bit disturbing. I wish the room remained the way I left it, with the window open. I would also expect the ambient settings to stay as I left them. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience at this hotel, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

This isn’t a complaint, just a suggestion: I wish there was a dedicated remote control for the curtains.

I really enjoyed my stay here – the rooms are small but very well equipped. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I loved the high-tech lighting system that made everything convenient at the touch of the button. It has everything you could want from a room, including a mini fridge and good hairdryer. The rooftop pool was great for some early morning laps, and I loved the decor throughout the communal areas of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and affordable too! However, the good stuff doesn’t end there. Absolute stand-out for me at this hotel with the staff. Every single person was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I couldn’t sing their praises enough. Even the guy that knocked on my room to see if I was still checking out (because I was running a bit late) was so lovely and good humoured. Thank you so much for a really pleasant week!

The only negative really is that you can hear quite a lot from the corridor… On the Friday and Saturday this meant that a few folks that had been out drinking and came home quite early in the morning unfortunately woke me up a few times. Miami, I guess!

I had a great stay at citizenM Hotel in South Beach, Miami! The rooftop pool is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing in the sun. The hotel offers modern, high-tech rooms, where you can easily adjust the lighting, blinds, and ambiance to suit your mood. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. The location is excellent—while it’s not directly on the beach, it’s just a 15-minute walk away, making it super convenient. Plus, the area feels safe and has plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable stay in Miami!

The rooms are very compact, which might not be ideal for those needing extra space. There is no fridge in the room, which can be inconvenient for longer stays. Vegan food options are extremely limited, with only chips available. While the rooftop pool is fantastic, the bar setup is underwhelming—instead of a full-service bar with drinks and food, it feels more like a snack station offering wine, beer, and chips.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. Incredibly clean, fresh, and welcoming. For such an affordable price, you get a high-quality hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by how much attention the hotel pays to detail—something you rarely come across. The staff is very friendly, and everything around is spotless. A huge advantage of this hotel is the 24/7 bar, where you can always grab a snack or a drink. Another big plus is its location—right across from Lincoln Mall, so there’s no need to travel far; everything is within walking distance. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

After having looked at all of the positive things people were saying about this hotel, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. And I must say, I can certainly see why people were giving this place a lot of praise! It really has a lot of stuff going for it. For one, the staff were incredibly helpful. I was panicking when I got to my room because I couldn't find my phone anywhere but the staff quickly called me and told me I'd left it at the check in desk (silly me!) Check in was relatively easy as well. And the room- it may be small, but don't let that fool you! It has everything you could need: a (very comfy!) king-sized bed, a sink, a closet, a fully-equipped bathroom (both toilet paper and towels) and a well-stocked shower. Incredibly clean as well- you can tell this place is well-maintained. Also, I appreciate how innovative citizenM is- everything is controlled through an iPad, so you can customize your experience the way you want it. Facilities were great- the rooftop pool was great, and the bar/lounge area was uber-swanky and perfect for relaxing and getting a drink or two (even though I didn't). Also, great value- the price is actually really good for the quality of the experience you get staying here. It's also conveniently located adjacent to the Lincoln Road mall, where you can buy clothes, souvenirs, food, etc. and has both a good pizza and taco place right across the street from the entrance. Most of South Beach is also easily accessible by walking. Overall, an absolutely incredible experience, especially as a solo traveler. This will always be my go-to place whenever I'm craving a trip to Miami Beach. Look forward to coming back here in the future!

Not that it ruined my experience, but I wish they provided more essentials like toothpaste and dental floss. It wasn't a big deal; I just bought some at a pharmacy nearby. Also, I didn't like when I had to leave, because I loved it here so much! Those are hardly deal breakers, though. This hotel is awesome!

I had a fantastic stay at CitizenM South Beach. The customer service stood out the most—staff were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which is so important after a long flight. Check-in and check-out were seamless, thanks to their efficient technology, which also made the room features easy to use and enjoyable. The hotel’s cleanliness, convenient ironing room, and rooftop pool were great touches. Its prime location, close to the beach and South Beach attractions, was another big plus. Overall, a refreshing and pleasant experience—I hope they maintain this high standard!

However, the air conditioning was a major downside. Even with temperature adjustments, it stayed uncomfortably cold, and I almost got sick because of it. While I know overly cold AC is common in Miami, it’s something the hotel should address for guest comfort. Overall, a refreshing stay with room for improvement.

Look CM make great hotels on repeat. Thats the concept and it works. Its even being copied by rivals to some degree. However the main point of this hotel is the location and the fact it is new, fresh and has a FAB rooftop pool. Frankly your in the best spot in Miami from our understanding of driving 1500miles in two weeks. Walk fast to beach in 10mins, run up and down the beach front with ease. Tons of great places to eat and drink. Even the antiques market on the weekend is close. You can walk to everything from this point. Go to the mainland with a 13$ uber to Wynwood and surrounding areas. I really cannot recommend enough... and yes the bar is great, staff great and the normal CM standard is why we always stay in USA. FYI : do not stay in the cool looking open carpark opposite. It is 100$ a night. Stay in the one connected in the same block under the gym and roof cinema, 35$ for 24 hours and no issues.

Just one point. One particular younger barman decided to spend more time walking away and sitting as a dining table from his post, saying he was tired to guests including when your trying to pay. really not good for a hotel of this size and frankly it annoyed lots of people. I was thinking it would be easier for me to pour my own amber larger! I did complain and was given my bill manually. All other staff amazing thank you :)

Hotel as expected, modern, clean. Location was perfect. Great pool, fabulous breakfast, would recommend.

I think the cleaning schedule should be set for rooms to be cleaned each day on the iPad, then if guests wishes to decline clean (good idea, if not required) then you can go on and decline. From what I can see the cleaning defaults to no clean, I had to find cleaner for fresh towels, then realised that my room was set for no clean. Small point but think this would annoy guests if not aware.

The hotel was in a fantastic location. My sister and I stayed at CitizenM in October and we felt extremely safe, as it’s located in a fantastic area. Lincoln Road mall is a few minutes away and the beach is only a 20 minute walk. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the interior of the whole place is super cool and unique! The technology aspect of CitizenM works really well and is very beneficial - everything worked well and was seamless. The bed was my highlight, as it’s so comfy with the best pillows and duvets. I couldn’t recommend CitizenM enough. It made our trip and we cannot wait to come back in the future! Would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

The fact that we were sad to leave sums it up perfectly. The design details are quirky and simply incredible. Breakfast was really good with fresh avo, Smoked salmon, delicious yoghurt and fruits, sausage and a great selection of breads to name a few. The coffee was really good and I was happy that they had almond milk. The staff was really wonderful. Everyone was friendly and makes you feel at home. The room is compact and I was worried about the size of the bed as I am tall. Rest assured this is not an issue. Its bigger than in photos and the quality of linen and pillows were exceptional. I also really liked the shampoo and body wash. Rooftop pool also really stunning and pool heated. Can't wait to visit again.
