Great location valet was super nice and professional and it was nice to have a cafe downstairs

Bathrooms have mold in shower and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. I asked for it to be fixed but it never was.

The staff were amazing and we had a great stay. Hotel room was spacious and comfortable and the roof top pool area was lovely. Location for us was great as we didn't want to be right on the beach front. It's a short 15-20 minute walk to beach. Little supermarket only 2 minutes away too.

I was travelling with my teenage son and he had the sofa bed and unfortunately it wasn't the most comfortable for him but it was definitely doable for the few days we were there. Pool is also not very deep but enough to cool you down.

The property was really nice for an affordable price. Joe & the juice is right in the lobby which is convenient.

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! We were unexpectedly stuck in Miami for a night when we were getting off a cruise and our flight was cancelled. I called the ABAE front desk to see if we would be able to check in early, and the lady (Annabelle) was super nice and helpful. When we got there around 11am, our room wasn't quite ready, but she kept our luggage in a secure room, gave us a key, and access to the rooftop pool. So that was a great place to hang out and then we did get in our room at about 12:30 which was extremely helpful to us and very accommodating by the hotel. The room was pristinely clean, modern, well appointed (kitchenette), and spacious. I love having a balcony! The location was convenient - not on the beach, but you can get there so easily, and staying just a few blocks away saves so much money. Lots of Citibikes available for rent right out front, so you can just hop on one and be at the beach in 5 minutes. The area seemed safe & clean, there's a coffee & juice shop downstairs, and a Whole Foods & Walgreen's right around the corner. All in all, highly recommended!!

These are *very* minor suggestions - there's an ice machine on the 2nd floor but no ice bucket in the room so we had to use a glass bowl that didn't keep ice cold for long. An ice bucket in each room would be great. There was only a sheet and extremely thin coverlet on the bed - I would like some more blankets. The scent in the common areas was way too strong and chemical smelling. Lastly, I can't stand the font used on all the signage throughout the hotel that has half of every letter or word missing. I guess they think it's edgy, but it's just annoying and hard to read.

Loved the filtered water, sparkling and flat, provided by the property. Plenty of fresh towels and great housekeeping! The roof top pool is fabulous in the mornings. By midday it’s really hot. More shade would help. I liked the quiet neighborhood away from the business of South Beach. I felt very safe. The balcony is great for people watching.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The kitchenette was minimalist. No hot plate to cook food, just a microwave and toaster oven. It’s a long walk to the beach and most everything in South Beach. But easy to rent bikes and get an Uber around town.

- We had some awkward moments with one of staff members who was not always nice and welcoming, especially when it came to my questions concerning the refund of the deposit ; he was also a bit indiscrete about other guest in a hotel - They asked if we were coming for a special occasion, I said yes, for honeymoon and my birthday, but we didn't get any special attention

This hotel is wonderful! Very clean, and the people here are so kind and helpful. They really want you to feel good and enjoy your stay. The location is great. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but just a 10 minute ride on Bus 20 to all the fun and attractions of Miami Beach. There is a great supermarket nearby. The café is lovely and cozy, everything here is just perfect, and the mattress is super comfortable. Highly recommended!

Everything was great.

It was a great location, walking distance to South Beach and other areas including Lincoln Road shopping area which went on and on in a good way. Loads of restaurants nearby. Nice quiet location. Valet parking albeit expensive at $39 per day. Rooftop pool looked amazing but sadly time and storm prevented us making use. Bonus having kitchenette complete with washer dryer. We were able to use the free beach trolley but also got the bus into Brickell City Centre and downtown Miami easily from Alton Road

The property was exactly what I was looking for. The area was quiet but at the same time you could to go the South Beach by walking, trolley, bus or bicycle if you wanted to experience a more exciting side of South Miami. The front desk, valet parking and housekeeper were very helpful.

The issue we had was the toilet. Whenever you flushed the toilet it made an unpleasant beeping sound which lasted for a few minutes. In my opinion I think the management needs to look into that. Also, the water temperature in the shower ran cold for a couple of minutes until it got warmer.
