It may seem unremarkable on a side street, but this hotel has a perfect 10/10 location because everything is within walking distance: 1 minute to a 24/7 CVS supermarket, 5 minutes to the famous Miami Beach (South Beach), 5 minutes to Lincoln Road (shopping street with many restaurants), 30 seconds to the best acai bowls in Miami, 5 minutes to bus 100 that goes directly to Downtown Miami, yet it's quiet because it's located on a side street. Ocean Drive is about a 12-minute walk away. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe near the hotel and generally in Miami Beach, both day and night. The staff was extremely friendly and helped me with everything, absolutely fantastic! The rooms weren't super new, but they were clean. The bed was super comfortable, and there was a fridge, ironing utensils, and a hairdryer. The only thing I didn't like, as a German who values "lüften" 😄 (airing out rooms), was that the windows couldn't be opened (but there was air conditioning). What I can't assess are the pool (it was still being renovated) and the breakfast (I did not book). I will return to the beautiful city of Miami one day and will definitely stay at the Albion again! The location is great. Short walk to the beach and not far to the nightlife, but still in a more quite part to sleep at night. The hotel itself nice with some charm in the lobby and small but cute lobby bar. We were lucky to receive an upgrade of the room and a beach chair and umbrella due to some construction on site. The front desk personnel is very pleasant and helpful. All my respect!

The problem was the cleaning staff!!! Our room was next to the linen closet. They were gathering starting 8am in the hallway next to our room, laughing and loudly shouting to each other slamming the doors. They were also coming to clean at 8am without knocking, were just opening the door right away! Also I had a pillow with black mold on it.

We have got an upgrade from Petit to Penthouse!

We arrived early morning to drop our bags and did not feel welcomed from the morning staff while the afternoon who did our check in was more welcoming.

Still no swimming pool after over TWO YEARS!!!!

We liked every single thing about the Albion hotel. Perfect location , extremely helpful and friendly staff , who were always happy to help with any questions we had. The room was very comfortable and the bar was a very nice , relaxing place to be. The decor was very tasteful and in very good condition. The breakfast was extremely good , varied and tasty. Overall , superb.

The only negative was that the pool refurbishment was not completed . But to ensure the guests were happy , the staff allowed us to have the use of loungers , parasol and towels for the nearby beach. So overall , it's not really a negative ! When we go back to Miami , we will definately be booking at the Albion.

I loved everything about this hotel and the staff. My first impression was being greeted by the door man who was very friendly. Then I went to check in at the front desk and the nice lady told me I was upgraded to a King room because I originally booked the petite. The same lady also gave me a complimentary coupon for a free drink at their bar which was another awesome surprise. My room was very clean and the housekeeping staff did an exceptional job every day I was there. They also provided beach chairs and umbrella located on the beach so you don’t have to carry anything and was very reasonable prices. The bar tender Nate was very friendly and gave me lots of recommendations/things to do while I was in town. I will definitely be returning.

Albion Hotel's staff upgraded my room upon check-in, which was unexpected but very welcomed and appreciated. The room was clean, bright, and very comfortable. This hotel is at a great location, in my opinion: there are convenience shopping stores, clothing, decent restaurants, and dessert/smoothie places all within walking distance, not to mention the beach itself that was open and clean. The entire surrounding area also felt safe and not loud with heavy traffic. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, giving me directions to the hotel from the airport as well as storing my luggage until time for check-in. When it was time to leave, they also connected me with a taxi driver who drove a clean and roomy vehicle and met me in the lobby. This was a smooth and easy stay. I definitely recommend Albion Hotel of Miami South Beach.

The location is great. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is lovely but the issue is that the pool is not renovated and that really is an issue because that is a big selling point to wanting to be there, but it will be done soon and when it is the hotel will go up in value!

Location was excellent, the hotel itself was lovely, loved the decor and the rooms were comfortable, a little dated but nothing too bad, we had a lovely room overlooking the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful Free coffee was good idea for the morning. In terms of location you have a CVS right over the road so you can get most things you may need in there, loads of eateries near by and good for shops! Walking distance to ocean drive and the beach. Good location for tourist activities.

The pool wasn’t available, we were told in fairness that it would be out of order prior to our stay, however we’re were told it was due to open mid April and we arrived at the end of April and it was no where near completed! That was a shame, and the breakfast menu wasn’t great, so we chose not to eat there. Others clearly enjoyed it though.
