The room was nicely put together and spacious. All the personnel really friendly and supper helpful.

They should clean better the room. I don't recommend walking barefoot.

Location is perfect. Very close to the Lincoln street mall , where are good restaurants located. Two blocks from the best Beach, Miami bus 20, 14, 15 to go to the downtown, etc. The best for us was the free parking, which is absolutely rare on Miami Beach! We arrived at 12 pm, parked the car and went for brunch and the beach, then our room was ready after 4 pm, as in all hotels, but we did not have worry about parking !

This hotel is old, and outdated , but we have expected this, so this was OK for us. The air condition is loud. hotel has undoubtedly the best deal for its price. We stay in James hotel on our 1st day/ night and our last day/night, traveling in between to Key West, and other parts of big Miami area. Frankly, hotel James has the best value for money and location!

We like the location and facility and some of the front desk employee. One of the employee from Argentina was so friendly and nice so we would come back to stay because of her excellent customer service and kindness. Huge thanks to her!

The employee, the young man working at front desk was rude and not kind, like stone. If he will be there, we would not stay there. We want to enjoy the vacation and it makes a huge difference on how they treat you. It’s so apposite from that young lady from Argentina who was so friendly and kind so it light up the place and she makes the place welcoming. (Did not remember their names)

We've been to Miami a few times now, but always stayed south beach. Each time we have been we always end up venturing north to Espanola way and Lincoln Rd. This hotel is perfect placed for these places and also very close to the beach. The hotel itself has to be one of the most artistic hotels we have ever been to, there is art from pictures to sculptures all over this hotel inside and out. We really loved the style of this hotel and cool vibes that it gave us. The massive plus was how close it is to everything we needed for our stay, from shopping, to sights, to relaxation on the beach, fantastic. I would definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

Car park is really tight, we arrived late and it was full except for one space, it was difficult to get the car into the place. Might of been different if it was my car, but as a rental that I was not sure of spacial awareness and being tired, it made it a bit difficult to park.

GREAT location! Very safe and touristy area! Very close to the beach. My mom and I were visiting Miami Beach for the first time and all we wanted to do was explore. This hotel is perfect for just spend the night and go on out during the day to explore. Bus stops are really close by if you plan to go to Miami or Downtown. Everything is pretty close. There are great stores nearby, restaurants, everything! If you are looking for luxury this is not your place, this is a normal "just what you need" hotel when traveling lightly. Overall, great experience!

The walls are too thin and you could hear everything and everyone. I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me but you can hear everything at night. The room was a little too cold for my preferences but you can always adjust the AC or Fan!

The property was in the perfect area of south beach, right near all of the restaurants, clubs, stores, and beautiful Miami Beach. It was super cute! Love the decorations and free parking! Can’t beat it for the price! And the staff was so nice! They let us keep our car in the lot after check out so we could go to the beach and grab lunch before we left! Will definitely stay again!

The light in our room wasn’t working and no mirror in the room so with 3 of us it was a bit hectic getting ready, but for the price we can’t complain! We enjoyed our stay!

The location is brilliant. 10 min walk to the beach, 10 mins to the main strip of shops. The car parking is good although some spaces are quite tight. Coffee and doughnuts provided in the morning in the main reception area. The room size was really good. We stayed in more expensive hotel around Miami and found ourselves missing this hotel. The character is just so different and makes you feel like a part of its family.

There were a couple of dead cockroaches around. Some lights didn’t work in the room. The hotel is a little bit dated however for the price this isn’t really a problem. I 100% recommend this place.

The location was excellent and the vibe was quirky, artsy and fun! The best art deco hotel for the money on expensive South Beach. Will definitely stay here again!

There was this weird little guy guarding the coffee and donuts who yelled at my puzzled husband in Spanish while my husband was pouring his coffee. He was kind of like a cranky old man yelling at the neighbor kids to get off his lawn. My husband had no clue what he was doing wrong and the person at the desk just kind of rolled his eyes. Too funny.

Although an older hotel showing its age a bit, it was eclectic and fun - Great Atmosphere!!! The entire staff was helpful and friendly and we found our room to be exceptionally clean. An added plus was the price and the included parking.

There wasn’t much to complain about, it’s an older hotel so don’t be expecting new and shiny - it has way more atmosphere than that. I would love to see the bright fun art carried on into the guest rooms because even the elevator is bright and cheerful. If I would change anything it would be to suggest different cups for the coffee, but just having coffee and donuts in the lobby was nice and appreciated.

The location of the hotel is great, it's 5 min from the beach and it's close to CVS, Wallgreens and other shops and restaurants. Parking was not a problem, I always got the spot. the staff was very friendly and they borrowed me chair and umbrella for the beach.

The hotel is a bit old, motel-like so the furniture in the rooms and all together is in a bit overused condition, but for this price ok. The AC was loud, but it did the job. Leaving car key at the reception was a bit unusual for me. I was missing the ice machine.
