After reading the reviews of this property - what people didn't like specifically - we made sure to request a room that was not facing the street and that was upstairs. Although an elevator would have been helpful, not having one wasn't the end of the world and the room itself was clean and comfortable with a ton of space! Having a refrigerator and a microwave along with some decent dishes in the cupboard was wonderful. The restaurant downstairs, Morenos, is fabulous! The only complaint I had was that my sister wanted a happy hour drink with soda and a splash of juice and was told she could only have one mixer, but even that wasn't a huge deal - just an oberservation of something they might consider changing. We didn't have any issues communicating with the staff and they were all very personable and helpful. Having access to the pool and beach via the Marseilles was amazing and there were even two chairs and an umbrella included at their space on the beach! All in all, I would definitely stay at the Dorchester again as long as I could get a similar room not facing the street.

The spacious apartment came with all of the amenities. Not too far from the beach.

The staff was not friendly and every time I asked him a question, he did not know. I asked him if he was new and he replied no, they just didn't train him well. He did not know where the washer and dryer were located, he did not know where I could purchase coffee around there. The address that is given here is to another property. When we arrived, our Uber dropped us off at the address that was in my confirmation only to be told we had to walk a block down with our luggage to get to the hotel. You also had to go there for the beach towels and chairs, and complimentary drinks. Who wants to walk a block down for the amenities you were told were included?

Very nice hotel with Art Deco feel to it. Large suite room (living room with dinig area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom). Amazing, stylish hotel restaurant Moreno's. Short walk to the beach (sunbeds and umbrella free) + Lincoln Road. Friendly, helpful staff.

Kitchen and bathroom in the suite would need some renovation, but nothing major. Overall impression from the room still was: spacious, nice, clean and prettier than in the pictures.

The stay at this hotel was wonderful!!! The convenient location of the hotel . Very comfortable and spacious room. The room had everything you need for a stay: a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster, a hair dryer and even an iron with ironing board. The room was cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly. We were very pleased with the vacation we spent at this hotel!!!

Perhaps the only downside is a slightly noisy air conditioner.

Well this was a little older place it was very nicely kept and cute. Very good bang for the buck. My favorite thing was it was close to everything literally the beach was blocked or two away. There was all kinds of places to eat and a little store on the corner you get anything you wanted from.

Only thing I can say I didn't like was that it in the book this for my return days for the cruise. I absolutely loved the location. And the apartment itself was very cute.

Lovely reception area and Cuban bar restaurant. Rooms very spacious and was amazing having use of the Pool and Beach sun loungers at Le Marseille hotel across the road. Loads of restaurants nearby and beach was less than ten minute walk. Trolley bus stopped nearby which was handy for getting around and is free!

Pool was quite tired looking but with use of the other hotel pool it didn't really matter.

This is the cutest property with a great vibe and it’s super close to the beach! We loved using the beach chairs and the pool at the sister hotel.

The beds are super hard and uncomfortable. The room we had didn’t have a hair dryer and we were told by the night person that our suite didn’t come with one. The lady in the morning was very nice and she said yes it should have had one. I think the nighttime person may have misunderstood thinking we wanted a clothes dryer.

My room was a whole apartment, very comfortable, clean, quiet. Great location close to the beach (chairs and umbrellas included), mall, restaurants. Great restaurant on site. Helpful and nice staff.

The pool was dirty. And a very few small outdated things in the apartment (mostly everything was new and everything was clean). But for the money, this place was a steal!

This hotel saved my whole trip! Our previous hotel didn't give us notice ahead of time and was under renovation on the day we arrived, so I had to find another hotel for me and my friend to stay in a short time. Luckily I found out this hotel had an available room and was near my previous one, so I booked a room with them immediately. The front desk staffs were friendly and could communicate in English as we were not good at Spanish. We checked into an apartment suite, and its place is wonderful. The space is clean and wide. The room's location is also nice since it's not in a business area, so it's easy to sleep at night. This hotel also gave us vouchers for drinks and beach equipment. Overall, I appreciate this hotel gave us a memorable experience of staying in Miami Beach!

We stayed in a suite which was great for my family. We also loved the location, just a very short walk to the beach, and the hotel’s cute tucked away restaurant and bar.

It would have been nice to know ahead of time that their pool would be closed all five days we were there. That was a bummer for me and the kids.
