The room was big, very clean and comfortable! In a central location! King-size bed!!! The reception was very helpful.

Communication with Sonder was not good. They didn't respond to messages, and there was generally no service because the reservation was made through Booking.com. When i called them about hotel-related issues, they told me to call Booking.com since that’s where i made the reservation! Absurd!!! Overall, the experience was good, but I mentioned this issue only for them to improve in this area.

Well maintained and a great location.

The reservation via Booking.com was frustrating: I received a confirmation immediately after booking the room. After a few days I received a message asking me to confirm my identity by accessing a certain link which didn't work. I messaged the property and did not get a reply. On the other hand I received more messages asking me to confirm.my ID but again - none of the links worked. Only after a few days of me angrily messaging the property did I receive a reply telling me to disregard the ID messages... Frustrating and a waste of time!

The hotel was charming with its art deco exterior and warm interior furnishings. It's across a park which is great and is only 5-10 min away walking distance from the beach. We love the location--- It's in a quiet street with the animated streets just around the corner. It was also walking distance to a lot of the main areas in Southbeach, even our Everglades tour pickup point was only 10-15 min away.

The walls were quite thin. If your neighbor has a loud voice or ramped up kids or high TV volume, you can easily hear them through the walls. 🥲 Thankfully staff had helped us remind the neighbors to quiet down past 11 pm. Also, their safety box is on a super high shelf which is extremely inconvenient and hard to see. We almost left behind a card in there.

Great location, 2 blocks from the beach. Great value for the money. I used the internet a lot for work and it went really well. There's coffee and tea available at all times and the receptionists were always super nice.

There's an additional 25 dollars daily fee if you want cleaning. Parking nearby is expensive ($20 per day) so if you're going to stay in South Beach you can use the free trolley. There were a dozen homeless people in the park in front of the hotel but they do not seem dangerous at all.

We had a good experience. The staf was very nice and it was close to the beach and Ocean Drive. The room was spacious. The bed was really comfy also.

The rooms are very noisy. You can basically hear people talk in the room next to you or hear the foot steps from the room above.

The location and the price! Any other hotel in the area was 200$+ a night

Sometimes I could REALLY hear anything that happened in other rooms, walls are too thina

Location is convenient, the staff is friendly, and you can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out.

The cleanliness could be improved; there was a cockroach in my room. Additionally, the walls are very thin, and you can hear people snoring and chatting in the adjacent rooms.

It is exactly what we booked, a limited service hotel. You don't get the extras but it is clean, safe with doors that lock after a certain hour and comfortable beds

Self service means no one empties trash. They should have areas where you can deposit trash for staff to pick up or a chute to send it down.

The room was a good size with huge king bed which was very comfortable. We had 6 pillows and they were comfortable too. Bedding is high quality . Reception staff very helpful. Supplies of coffee, toilet roll etc can be located downstairs in reception area, so no worries if you need extras. We stayed 3 nights and liked the location and the hotel. We would return to this hotel. We’ve stayed in a number of other hotels in SB and this rates highly on our list compared to other much higher priced hotels which were not as good as this one. You can use the reception area to sit and eat your take away food and have a meal/snack or use the outside seating area which is nice on the street. There is a nice park to sit in outside the hotel too. Liked having a key code operated door for our room.

The repeated emails and messages prior to arrival, none of the links worked, so had to set up an account on arrival to get the door code. I was anxious about how noisy it was going to be, having read other reviews. Yes, you can hear your neighbours talking, using the coffee machine, snoring and using tv, but depending on how you sleep may or may not affect you. We generally found it wasn’t much of a problem for us but depends on the individuals who are your neighbours. Some are more considerate than others about how loud they are.

Fridge in room, iron supplied Clean room and bathroom White noise machine supplied in room Heavy curtains on windows Night light in bathroom Coffee machine and extra supplies provided across from reception desk in drawers there. Seating area in reception Reception staff helpful. Good value for SB We knew before we arrived the room would not be cleaned daily , as this is made clear by the hotel in their terms and conditions on booking.com. Wasn’t a problem for us.

Noise from neighbours can be an issue due to thin walls. This wouldn’t put us off returning though.
