Nice chic hotel with friendly staff. We only there for one night while awaiting a return flight to UK. Quite a small room with the sink located in the bedroom space rather than the bathroom so not the most practical layout for a family of four. Plus the louvred bathroom door didn’t afford the most in privacy. But it was only for one night. Would have been tiresome for any longer and better suited to a couple. But room was stylish and very clean and well presented. Nice, small pool which the kids used on the morning before check out. Was great that the hotels held our bags after we checked out so we were able to go out in Miami in the day before our night flight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No parking at the hotel, but there is a public car park a few mins walk from the hotel where you can park for $20 for 24hrs. Art Deco facade of The Plymouth is stunning if you admire architecture of this period. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would recommend for couples visiting Miami.

Pool area is beautiful, just like on the pictures. Attractive hotel inside and out, with a nice bar (and funny yet professional bartender!) and well-presented lobby. Staff were all helpful enough and pleasant. Really nice to have a gym on-site, which was small but fully functional and versatile (with complementary towelettes, earphones and water). Really close to the beach and Citi Bike stop, which we used a lot. Great place to stay!

View from the room wasn't brilliant as we didn't realise there were different buildings within the complex, but this is a minor point as the room itself was great. Large security deposit requested upon check-in (initially a $450 deposit requested for a 3-night stay, which was reduced to $300, which is still quite a lot). Breakfast isn't really "continental" and has a fairly limited choice, and is located at a restaurant/café down the street. However, the food was very nice with fairly large portions, and is nice to have included.

The hotel is gorgeous. The bathroom was huge and had high quality toiletries, replenished every day. The poolside area was very nice too. The breakfast wasn't at the hotel - it was at a restaurant nearby - a la carte, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS. The restaurant at the hotel was open for lunch and dinner and also served really nice food. The cocktails by the pool - incredibly tasty. The beach was just a short walk away too. You could use the pool and the beach even after the checkout.

The price was steep. The service was a bit strange - we kept on getting fewer towels than there were people in the room; after the first night's servicing, we found our pyjamas on the floor. We asked for a spare bed - one day we got told the hotel didn't have spare beds, another day they said they'll try to bring one in, then they called at night once we were asleep to say they won't even try anymore for reasons unknown, so for a couple of nights my dad slept on the floor. Room service was slow, because it's connected to the breakfast restaurant outside of the hotel, not their own restaurant.

The Plymouth is a lovely boutique hotel which has kept its character rather than being ultra modernised. Saying that, it also has everything you would expect. Breakfast is excellent and although you have to walk a few minutes round the corner to a café linked with the hotel, it’s a nice walk. Room service is also available. The restaurant in the hotel is open for lunch and dinner and has a sushi and a grill menu and is also really good for both food and service. The pool area is small so if there are a couple of families there is no chance of a sun lounger or space to swim but on a quiet day it’s perfect and also very sheltered when it’s too windy for the beach. The beach is just 5 minutes walk and they have their own club area so you’re pretty much guaranteed a sun bed and towels. South Beach is a good district to be in, there’s a huge choice of restaurants, places to visit or just sit and watch the world go by.

Really lovely hotel just a short walk from the beach. The room was quite small for 3 adults and one teenager so it became a little frustrating but we should have probably chosen a larger room! The decor was lovely and the smell as you entered was amazing. The pool area was great and whilst the gym was small it did the job. You can also use the rooftop pool at the sister hotel a couple of mins walk away (you can probably also use their gym). There is a public parking garage a couple of mins walk away that was secure and was only £26 for two nights.

We loved the pool. Our boy is 11 months old and the pool design was amazing for him to play. Pool gets sun until 4-5 pm, and then the sun stays behind the building so shade makes it even better. The sushi bar is relatively expensive (paid $33 for a burger for lunch) but the atmosphere is good. Orange Blossom cafe for breakfast is definitely great. Staff is amazing, Michael in concierge and reception team are very helpful.

The first room given to us was in the Seasons Cafe building, room 156, and there was no accessible entry/exit to the floor. Also, there was so much noise as people speak in the hallways. It was hard with a baby and stroller with stairs. We asked reception to change it, and they gave us another room in the main building with elevator.

Very convenient location in South Beach, close to both Collins and Washington Avenue. 5-minute walk to the beach, where the property offers free chairs and towels; several restaurants at very short walking distance, a CVS around the corner (less than 5-minute walk). Free trolleys to the rest of Miami Beach and buses stop also around the corner; Nice, art-deco pool. Not huge, but a good size and shape for a dip or for children to play. Also appreciated the pool bar, where we enjoyed afternoon cocktails while the kids were swimming; We had a cozy room in the dependence, with pool view. Bathroom a bit on the small side (just one person could fit at one time), but the room had all needed amenities Seasons Café on the ground floor opens at 7am (very good for jet lagged travellers :)) and offers very tasty, healthy options for breakfast and lunch. The avocado toast was one of the best (if not THE best) I've ever eaten, and the kids really enjoyed the Nutella toast and banana bread. Staff was very kind and helpful, even when we asked to change rooms after the first night.

The two best things about this hotel are the pool and the sushi restaurant. Other than that the room has very nice, we booked a room with a terrace so we saw the sunset from there.

It is not mentioned anywhere in the listings that the included breakfast is only for two people. When we got the voucher at the reception we asked about this and the receptionist told us that this is the policy. When we told her that this is not the information we received from booking she asked us if we have any other confirmation. We presented her with everything we received and she literally told us that it doesn’t matter what information we got, we are not getting a voucher for 3 and we need to pay for the third breakfast ourselves. Not only was she not trying to find a satisfactory solution but she was also acting like it’s our fault that we don’t know about this policy. Honestly we felt cheated and disrespected and it soured this otherwise very nice stay for us.

The Plymouth is such a lovely spot to stay at. Out of the crazy hustle and bustle but only a short stroll (500 metres) to the beach. We had the adjoining suite room for our family of five and it was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and so, so comfortable. The heated pool kept our three daughters happy (and off devices!) whilst we could sit and read about on the ample sun loungers. Food and drinks offerings were excellent through our stay. We used Room Services and also took advantage of the excellent cafe - ‘Orange Blossom’ which was a 3 minute stroll from the Plymouth front door. The hotel restaurant ‘Blue Ribbon Sushi and Grill’ was also fantastic - always buzzing and with a great vibe and a fab Happy Hour offering. Above all, the staff at the Plymouth are exceptional. They are attentive to all your needs, sometimes even when you don’t ask! From door staff, to reception, to housekeeping - this hotel operates at a high service level. We will be back.

The bedroom was comfortable and clean. Bathroom facilities were good with nice amenities.

Lobby areas could be better as there wasn’t a lot of space. The check in and out was a lot wait each time as only one or two people on reception and lots of people waiting. There is not enough sun beds by the pool for the size of the hotel. We were extremely disappointed with the luggage storage as they removed the flight tags from our bags without permission and threw them away. When personal data protection is so paramount this seemed careless and inconsiderate.
