The hospitality of the manager was outstanding. The housekeeping personnel was exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and helpful. We just had to walk along the "balcony" that leads to the rooms in order to have a spectacular view of the ocean. From there we could even see the litter guard tower and the flag stating if it was safe to swim in the ocean. The location can't be any more perfect. It's right by the quiet beach. Just a few miles down is the famous and overcrowded Daytona Beach. In Ormond Beach it was never crowded.

It was a little downside that the pool and access to the beach were destroyed by a hurricane. However, I assume that led to an almost empty hotel. It did not bother us, as the beach access is less than 5 minutes walking distance. And when walking along the beach, 4 minutes walking to the beach don't really matter.

This is a great place to stay! Very clean rooms and very comfortable beds. An older motel but a real gem in a great location. The price is very reasonable !! Another plus is a great friendly staff. Please note: due to hurricane damage the pool and beach access is closed temporarily, but looks to being open in the near future. There is beach access right around the corner though .

Overall, it was exactly as expected. A basic motel. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it served the purpose we were seeking which was a place to shower and sleep comfortably after a day at the beach and an evening out.

The air conditioning is a bit loud and I feel like the unit may not be large enough for the room. It was not hot but I like my room to be nice and cold and I could not really reach that. It would not stop me from staying there again but just something worth sharing.

Small, convenient, on the beach, ample parking. Beach was easy to access, room was not fancy, but clean…loved the walk in shower! The bed was on the firm side, but worked for us. the towels were decent. There was no housekeeping during our stay but we were advised of this when the reservation was made and again at checkin. We were able to get clean towels and toiletries as needed. The property was clean and appeared that renovations are ongoing. the price was right! We would stay again if in this area. As a plus, when making the reservation, I requested a handicap accessible room. I received a call from Neil at the property the next day who advised there wasn’t a handicap room available, but asked if a ground floor room with a walk in shower would be adequate (which was for us). He also made sure our extended family was in the room next door. Great customer service!

pool maintenance done in the middle of the day which required everyone to leave the pool. I think it could have been done at night.

While its an old building they put the money into modernizing and really cleaning up the interior. Neal at the desk was esp. attentive and helpful. Unlike most of hotels who know nothing, here is a long time Floridian.

Its an old motel, but not their fault, it is what it is, and they re-invented it. Also the $250 damage deposit on my card was a little excessive. Im over 55, hell its not like I'm having a druggie party in there with bunch of homeless people. Cmon now, loosen up. Planet Joe Biden is rough, but doesn't apply to all...

It is not fancy, but the location is great, and the management very friendly and accommodating. Just a few steps down to a beautiful beach and plenty of good places to eat nearby. Reminded us of beach motels from days gone by!la

larger TV - the flat screen was very small!!! Room was damp smelling when we got there but we left the door open for a while and it aired out!

The beach access was closed due to storm damage but beach access was only right past next property. A lot of hotels in area also had no access due to damage!

The property is very nice and has a good location. The place is kept very clean and has all the basic amenities for your needs. The staff is what makes this property exceptional. They could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. They are very present and willing to do what it takes to make your stay a good one.

The property is well maintained but could use some updating. A/C in the room ran a little warm so we had to drop it down pretty low to be comfortable.

Loved that you're literally steps away from the beach!! Nice clean pool too and sitting areas if you want to have a picnic before going to the beach area. Rooms are clean and they just painted the outside a more appealing color. Good job management 👏🏾.

Great location, exceptionally clean room with great a/c and just steps to the beach. The motel is taking Covid precautions, the office is not open and you are served by a walk up window, Also they are not offering daily room clean up but that's fine with us; just let the office know if you need extra towels or coffee station supplies. The office staff was friendly and helpful in recommending area restaurants. We live on the Gulf Coast and enjoy coming to the Atlantic for the ocean waves. Would stay again

The king bed was a bit too firm for our taste and the pool was over chlorinated :(
