I like that the property is so close to Pier Park. We were within walking distance of all our favorite restaurants and shops. The pools were clean and all the staff were very friendly. Also, the property manager was super sweet and very helpful.

Our particular condo was pretty but had some flaws. The dishwasher was a pain because the rollers were broken. The paint was falling off the ceiling in all of the bathrooms and above the bar in the kitchen. There was a dust pan but no broom and the vacuum cleaner was junk. As far as the building goes, it was nice but the elevators took forever. One was broken over half the time we were there, which didn’t help the wait time. The tower next to ours was out of power for like 4 days so the shop was constantly packed with people trying to charge their phones. Overall, it was a nice place but, for the money, I probably would not stay there again.

This property is perfectly located between the beach, restaurants, shopping center, and more. Just walk right out the doors and you are in the middle of everything.

The elevator situation was horrid. We waited over 30 minutes to get an elevator to our room once we arrived. And then any time after that there was only one working at a time.

It was clean room n facilities, super great location & view ! elevators were better than most on speed ,parking was easy , liked that I couldn’t hear much noise from doors opening & closing in the rooms around mine . Room was Clean !

Pool was kinda cold , living room pull out not very much useable it was a rough mattress. No hot tub . Couldn’t see the pool in the backside ! To many chairs in the beach no where for ppl to put much up . Shower heads were molded & not much out of them ! Small tv in living room

The location is perfect. We love being on the beach, close to the pier and Pier Park. We have stayed at Calypso on prior visits.

The bed was horrible. Over the course of 8 nights we tried, in addition to the bedroom, sleeping on the couch, sleeping sitting in the recliner and finally trying the lower bunk bed. We find the beach peaceful and that helped soothe the sleep deprivation. My advice is have mercy and invest in a good mattress

location and view

Waited forever to check in because the cleaning crew left the door open and we walked up on the open door assuming that they were still cleaning so we left. Nope they just left the lock open and unattended. Cleaning was rated as a 4/5 when they sent the text and asked us to rate the room but as the week went on I would say 3/5. Our feet and the kids feet were black the first day and the carpet was not swept well. The bed was not comfortable and the pull out couch is not usable to a normal persons standards. Poor lighting in bedroom not as shown in picture on site. The place is very outdated which wasn't a concern because we knew that at booking. Complained to the staff about seeing a cockroach go crawling up the curtains one night while my husband and I were watching TV, and provided photos. Sent email and message telling them I wanted the night we saw the cockroach and the next after refunded if they couldn't provide another place to stay and we are obviously not staying there our last night. Best they said they could do was take the cleaning fee off and they were spraying for them so they are going to come out and there is nothing more they can do. Reviewed my credit card and they didn't even refund the total cleaning fee. Still not acceptable to be thinking about roaches in our room or taking them home with us. Won't be staying here again. We had several families that came with us and stayed here in other rooms, and they won't be coming here either as they had similar complaints on cleanliness and reporting to maintenance on broken balcony chairs, missing faceplates that were a hazard for the little kids, broken bunk beds etc. Between all of us we spent $1000s on staying here, that's so disappointing to spend that kind of money and get that kind of experience .... so this place won't be getting our $1000s next year
