The location is great as you never had to fight for a good spot on the beach. Easy and plenty of parking. The pool area was nice and very family friendly. Felt very safe in the area and it was close to every in town but not in the supper busy stretch and so getting in and out was super easy.

The floors were not cleaned before us and we got our own broom to sweep and keep sand out. The elevators were a little sketchy but worked the entire time and had no issues. Little things here and there but it's obviously not a luxury hotel and did the job just as good for a quick vacation.

The convenience of the beach and nearby attractions

Check-in was at 4:00, upon booking I said 3:00, got there at 4 and had to wait two hours because the room wasn’t ready. got to the room and it was like the floor hadn’t been swept, it was literally full of sand. Bathroom sink was stopped up. Got no room service not sheets on the bed, didn’t even have an ice bucket.

Loved the location and the separation of the living area and kitchen from the bedroom

We were placed in a double queen room when we paid for a booked a single king bed room. We loved having the separated living room which is where we had our small children sleep. It would have been nice to have some sort of sliding door to minimize noise and light for anyone who sleeps in that area if others wanted to stay up later. It also seemed it would have been more appropriate for the living and kitchen area to be the front room and the bedroom to be in the back. Overall loved the stay and felt it was great value

We loved everything!!! The location was amazingly beautiful. Just the fact that we had a balcony facing the beach and that we, literally, were a feet of walking distance from the beach made this hotel worth $300 per night, but instead we paid under $100 per night. The room was clean and super spacious! My wife is super picky about cleanliness and she was very impressed with how clean the room was. All those Spoiled Prima Donna’s complaining about the Hotel being outdated and blah, blah, blah are exactly that…a bunch of Spoiled Prima Donna’s. These people are obviously ignorant and untraveled individuals who have no clue what they are talking about! “Oh! There was a roach in my room!” Oh please! Get a life people! We live in Florida, roaches are everywhere and no matter how much pest control you do in a property, a few roaches will come in from the outside when you leave the balcony door opened. Do like every normal person does, grab a sandal or a shoe and kill it! Stop Bxxxxing about it! Overall, the entire building looked great for being exposed to sea salt. Could it need some paint in some areas? Sure! But all of that takes money and for what this hotel charges it still a bargain deal. If you want a 5 star hotel, then get ready to pay $300-500 per night or even more. Like I said, just the location and the fact that the hotel had a balcony facing the beach makes those rooms worth $300 per night. And the employees were super nice and accommodating. Lisa was always in communication with us and it was just such a pleasant experience having the text feature to communicate with the staff. Me being a techie, I loved it.

My wife and I loved everything about the property! It’s a beachfront property! That alone makes this place amazing!

The best part of it all was the view of the ocean with its white sandy beach. The staff was great! Miss B went above and beyond to see that all was well with our stay. I would go back there in the future. The rates there are decent. There were some minor issues, but I wasn't expecting a 5-star resort, so we were quite content there and didn't feel the need to complain. We enjoyed our stay.

Just a couple of pointers for newcomers. The floors are tile, so bring some slippers or flip flops because the sand does find its way in. Request extra towels when needed because the staff won't go into your room when you are not there; which i like. Other than that, enjoy!

loved the location I just wished we would have had a king room with kitchenette, more than two towels other than that I have no major complaints the price was good for the room I dont understand some of the reviews if people would understand that this is not a resort they should give better reviews cause I was happy with what we had

the fire alarm waking me up one morning but fire saftey people was there so I guess it wasn't the hotels fault and I feel like they need more towels and wash cloths in the room no biggie

The other buildings around the area are almost skyscrapers in their dimensions and it's quite uninviting, so not great for pedestrians

Based on previous reviews we were skeptical about booking. But I'm glad we did. Our room was clean. Beds were comfortable. We had no problem getting extra towels from the front desk. Staff was friendly. Yes it is a older hotel and needs some upkeep but that's to be expected with a hotel of this age. Location was great. Has alot of parking. Would definitely stay again.

The elevator was slow but we didn't mind. I would suggest putting blinds up on the windows to the outside hallway. The light shines in most of the night and keeps u awake. We also kept smelling the neighbors smoking their "pot" next door.

The view was amazing!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. It has a stove, fridge, microwave and a coffee maker which was a one cup maker but since we drink a lot of coffee they gave us a regular size pot.

The main thing that upset me is that we got a dog friendly hotel but no dogs are allowed on the beach. The room was nice it really needs a paint job and the elevators are so slow.

They let us check in earlier. The location was nice it’s close to alot of the main things in the city. Beach access was great!

I booked through booking.com but when I arrived they had an issue finding the reservation on their end so they had to make a new one & it was also difficult checking out for the same reason. There was ALOT of fruit flies in our room, the toilet was extremely loud. It could have been cleaner. The pool was dirty !! Extremely cloudy and full of trash, hair etc
