Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice dog park

They have a shuttle that takes you into the old part of the city, which is great. But it used to be free and now you have to pay for it. Also, they used to be staff making breakfast for you and they no longer have that.

3rd time there, just as always staff is wonderful, rooms are very clean and cozy. Dog park was excellent. Location is convenient.

Before the shuttle bus was free, but now must pay a fee. Also the breakfast wasn’t quite as good as it was in the past. We were looking forward too it.

The dog park was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and when we asked for something they responded and came to our room right away. The breakfast had a variety of good options. It was close to a lot of museums and the downtown area.

We got there at around 1 and were told the room wouldn’t be ready until 4. So to get our room earlier we had to pay $20 extra for it to be ready. Most hotels we’ve been at have the room ready before 4 and I feel like if it was ready after we paid it could have been ready regardless.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to get some recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The lady that drove us on the shuttle was super sweet and gave us a lot of info about the history of St.Augustine as well as a couple places we could drive to and park for free. They guy who checked us in told us about a late night pizza place (we got in late the first night). He also let us pick our own room ..... gave us options as far as 1st or second floor and if we wanted to be in the back as it would be more quiet.

Breakfast was good but there could have been more variety from day to day with the hot dishes.

Bed was very comfortable, especially the pillows, and the room was clean. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool. The free shuttle was a bonus and the driver was great -- very informative and entertaining.

It was clean , the breakfast was buffet style all the usual items. The free shuttle was very good that took us intoSt. Augustine. We were able to park right outside our door very convenient and as requested prior to the visit they gave a ground floor room. Plenty of restaurants around the area.

Wish the pool had been warmer.

They were extremely accommodating and were able to get us a room both on the bottom floor and facing the pool. They have a shuttle to and from both downtown and the beach for only $5/room which is a wonderful value when you consider the cost to park down there. They also have free breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Rooms have multiple plugs for usb adapters and a couple actual usb ports. Ice machine by our room was out of order but unlike other places I’ve gone thankfully they had multiple that were working. Lastly the POOL, it has an amazing cover over part of the pool deck and in the afternoon it covers the deep end of the pool. It’s a nice deep 7.5 ft deep pool. The cover makes such a huge difference in the blistering sun.

At first the bed felt comfortable when I sat down but after the night my back was sore. Little too firm for me. The breakfast was just ok. Could use more variety of cereal for the kiddos and there is sausage would’ve preferred bacon or choice but overall it was ok. A suitcase stand or two in the room would’ve been helpful. There is a laundry room however it only takes quarters. I imagine I could’ve gone up to the office(opposite side of property) but a quarter machine would’ve been great and I would’ve used it. Wish there was outlets on both sides of the bed but that definitely wasn’t a deal breaker for us. The bathroom could’ve used a little maintenance around the tub but again I’ve seen worse.

The room and entire facilities, especially inside, was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was not too far from the historical area and plenty of restaurants to pick from. The breakfast dining room was very clean. The cooking staff kept the area clean where the guest would dish up their food, and made sure there was always plenty of food. All of the staff were very friendly. The front desk staff helped answer our attraction question. We purchased a trolley tour through the hotel and they arranged a courtesy bus to take us to the attraction and brought us back. It was well worth it not having to use our vehicle and not having to pay for parking. We would definitely stay there again.

Only thing would have liked was a little bigger bathroom, Besides that everything was a nice size

Very clean facilities and friendly staff! Not your typical Hotel breakfast . Homemade and very good . Hotel offered free trolly to beach and historic district .

The hotel is extremely dog friendly with a small dog park included. The room has a tile floor (no carpet). The housekeeping staff kept our room clean and stocked with fresh towels. You will need hair conditioner & lotion from home. This is not included. You have a small fridge which will accommodate your stay. We brought dish soap & sponge to wash dog bowls. They provide a collapsible dog dishes for water & food. The hotel shuttle is dog friendly and can accommodate a pet stroller. The star bus is also a shuttle (free) that can accommodate a dog stroller too which has (3) downtown stops to help with travel. This is how we traveled with the pets. I recommend this hotel but remember it’s not the Ritz. Clean & Economical.
