The hotel is in a safe, quiet, convenient location. It's in a better place than the event venue downtown. We didn't eat at the hotel but had plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room had the option of being cleaned each day, the pool/ spa, & fitness area were always clean,stocked & available.

We didn't have a microwave in our room. It was inconvenient to go from the 3rd to 1st floor to warm coffee and leftovers. Hotel restaurant prices were inflated per usual, especially breakfast, for the menu items.

The best place to stay if you are attending a conference at GTech. The hotel has eduroam wifi, which connects with great speed and provides access to literature. The place was very clean and organised. The pool and gym were excellent facilities at the hotel.

Tiny miny things: there was no hot water kettle in the room. There was some constant noise (perhaps my room was close to the utility room). The fridge in the room was a useful facility, but again, a bit noisy at night. To be fair, the hotel provided earplugs, but I'm not used to wearing earplugs while sleeping. One suggestion, the hotel should have a coffee shop in the lobby area, sometimes I have to go somewhere to get coffee.

Centrally located to GA Tech; variety of restaurants surrounding hotel; parking in garage was convenient (though cost $21/day extra); bathroom was spacious for sharing between four people; room was spacious for four people; bed comfortable; workout center was sufficient; bar staff and dining room staff were very friendly and gave good advice for eating out

Bathroom could be cleaner; pool area could be cleaner; front desk staff member who checked us in was not very helpful--but then two other gentleman (front desk guy and maintenance guy) answered some of our questions and helped us find a dinner spot

The front desk staff was excellent! Seriously— they made check in and check out an exceptional and welcoming experience. We loved the location in terms of distance to the MARTA (7 minute walk) and to late night food spots all within walking distance. It had a real modern, city feel and we appreciated the ear plugs provided for street noise. Parking options were also convenient ($18 per night if we planned to stay parked for our whole stay simply taken out of our $50 nightly incidental deposit, otherwise I believe $21/22 paid directly to the garage folks if we wanted in & out privileges. The garage is connected to the hotel, though due to the garage elevators being out of service, we did have to walk around to the front hotel entrance, but not too far!)

The water took at least 5 full minutes to heat up for each shower. Once it was hot, it maintained, but a bit of an inconvenience at times.

I want to thank Katrina for being patient and friendly in a stressful situation. On Friday, June 27th, Katrina was working overnight and experienced a sudden influx of people due to mass flight cancellations and delays at the Atlanta airport. She was one of the only people working the front desk and had to check in a long line of people in the middle of the night. She remained professional and calm, and although there was quite a long wait, we all knew she was doing her best and working her hardest to get us all a safe place to sleep. Thank you, Katrina!

Everything

The only thing I didn't like is that the rotating door at the side of the hotel didn't work or was locked for majority of the time, and there was no sign telling people that it was locked, so people kept trying to come through it. And you can go out the side doors that are next to the rotating. Door but you can't come back in through it. And again, there's no sign saying that. So you have to walk all the way around to the front entrance of the hotel..

Everything was great but the interaction with young lady at the front desk came of rude, when I ask about a early check in I get it wasn’t available, but she was dismissive and seem unbothered or willing, she was on 10, checkin at 4:00, I know that, before I can ask the earliest, I ask to speak to a manager she said somebody here to see you, instead of saying a guest need to speak to you, a manager did call or text me , for an earlier checkin I appreciate it but I didn’t see the text til later an I appreciate her for that.

Location was awesome! Always cool to check out the Georgia Tech Store across the street! Parking is very reasonable for being a downtown location in a major city.

Staff from the check-in night being vague about having to pay for meals. Just mentioned the time breakfast will be served. When asked how much is the buffet, he said check the menu for prices. No buffet has that and I felt it was tacky of him to say that. However, I don't think he was very experienced.

The rooms are very spacious & Clean. Surprisingly with the midtown traffic i slept like a baby. Beds are super comfortable. Staff was very very nice. Great location. Lots of places to eat. I mean they have EVERYTHING & ANYTHING. Chris at the front desk AMAZING PERSON WITH AN AMAZING PERSONALITY. Housekeeping very friendly, she did a great job keeping my room clean. Towels& bathroom amenities really good. Starbucks coffee was provided in the room. T.V. was perfect to watch my SKZ videos on you tube while dancing in my spacious room.Front desk manager #1!!!! Breakfast could have been better being I went at 7am when they opened and food was already cold. I didn't care for they bring you the check as soon as you sit after getting your plate of food. I felt rushed. Small thing compared to the amazing stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff at GA. Tech Hotel definitely will be back.

Jamaican women at the front desk. Doesn't listen to guess, ignores guess Request. When i requested something from housekeeping. Housekeeping didn't even hear about my request. Charged me because my booking.com reservation she didn't trust. Just to much to deal with when you have a few days to yourself( which is my 1st. Mini vacation in 7yrs). Thank to Chris and the front desk mngt. They fixed everything for me and made my stay that much better.

The breakfast buffet the next morning was fantastic. We both did the order your own omelet and the gentlemen making them was fantastic and entertaining. He did a great job. Server was also very friendly. That was a great way to start our day.

The street outside is noisy. Cars revving engines and racing down the road. That's not the hotel's fault though.
