We stayed in a two bedroom suite facing the ocean and woke up to rainbows every morning! The hotel itself is in the best location in Waikiki and we appreciated proximity to all the luxury shops, restaurants and beaches. The D tower is close to a little market downstairs which was really helpful and Dean & Deluca provided some great caffeine fix. We also enjoyed the pool -- my 3 yr old niece made some very special memories learning to swim there. The property is sparkling clean, tastefully decorated and very secure with tons of helpful staff at the valet desk which was great for shopping/parking. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need, and while we ate out for the most part, it was really great to cook sometimes and do the laundry as we stayed over a week. The suite was very comfortable for our family of 4 adults and 1 kid, and the quality of service was exceptional throughout our stay. From the cleaning staff to bell men to front desk, every single hotel staff we encountered remained courteous, quick and kind. In particular the concierge team, Jordan and Aiko, went above and beyond their ways to make our stay so special for my sister's wedding and I am so grateful for all their help before, during and after our stay. My mom loved the view and ambience of La Vie restaurant for breakfasts and we enjoyed Friday fireworks twice during our stay, once from the Italian restaurant on site and also from our suite. It is as good as it gets in Waikiki when you have such a luxurious, calm and peaceful home base, especially for a family visit. I also stayed at Kahala resorts before my family arrived and still think that the Ritz was the best choice for the family to spend time together. As someone who spends more time at 5 star hotels than my own home, the quality of the staff and service really stood out for me for this property and I look forward to going back❤️🌈

Very clean, so convenient to have kitchen/washer/dryer! Staff was wonderful! Beautiful property and room, attention to detail whoever designed the hotel. A special thank you to Aiko. We went to spread my mom’s ashes and she was of great comfort and help.

Room great, location excellent and staff very friendly

Unfortunately the main pool was shut for refurbishment which was disappointing. Also, I can't believe that a Ritz Carlton is unable to offer decaf coffee at breakfast (despite asking for 5 days!). Tea choice was also limited to two types. This is an easy but essential fix and became rather annoying on a daily basis (I had to go and buy my own from the store - which showed how easy it was to solve)...

Booth at hotel swimming pool is not free for use by hotel guest, was told there are charges for use of booth at swimming pool, never encounter this before.

The property is not on the beach (thank heavens) but on the edge of the hot area of Waikiki - you can easily walk to any restaurant in Waikiki, walk to the beach (ten minutes). Our room was fabulous - large, beautiful view from the balcony, terrific pool open 24/7 and jacuzzi. Valet parking is $55 a day, but the valets are super helpful and kind - and give you lots of tips of where to go. As do the concierges - Lorna, Jordan and Luis in particular. Yes, it’s a Ritz-Carlton, but for us it was a home away from home. Super warm service, and a very high standard of facilities. We cannot wait to return.

Prices of breakfast - insanely high.

- Location was fantastic! Hotel was located at the more quiet part of Kalakua Ave. Walkable to restaurants, stores etc without the noise - great sound proofing, our room was nice and quiet despite having neighbors on both sides - we could see the Friday night fireworks from our balcony - love how there is built in filtered water for us by our sink!! They change their filters periodically as well - convenient island market downstairs and dean & deluca cafe -pool was clean and we love how there is a separate pool for kids and adults so it wasn’t as crowded. - the bellhops on the first floor was so kind & meticulous.

- the balcony needs to be cleaned periodically, chairs and table were very dusty, so we couldn’t eat outside as planned without taking the time to clean first

The property and suites were well-appointed, well-maintained, and in a prime location with many shops and restaurants.,

The property bar opened late and closed early in comparison to off-property venues.

THE RITZ CARLTON RESIDENCE WAIKIKI BEACH, are definitely the best hotel with everything, they exceed our expectations my little family and I, Welcome gifts for my daughter 10th Birthday, every day one gift until we go. We stay for 7 night. Room clean every day, change everything for toilets, me daughter receive a gift from front desk, from pools team, and from restaurants team for our Birthdays dinner. Aw just exceptional, chocolate for my kids in the room every day, check after me and my family if everything is good, from 2pm to 2:30pm free fresh ice cream at the pools for kids and adults. Pool are 2 different, for adults and kids, service exceptional. Dinner and Breakfast at Restaurant ( LA VIE ) fresh and good quality of ingredients, very very perfect. We will definitely go back At THE RITZ CARLTON RESIDENCE WAIKIKI BEACH. Thank you for all your king attention to me and my family. Love you all.
