BEST location in Coer D'Alene. You can walk to EVERYTHING but it is just far enough from the bars and restaurants that it is peaceful and quiet. You are one block from the best shopping, dining, nightlife, sightseeing in CDA. I was not very happy when my husband told me he booked a motel - it did have the highest rating for lodging in CDA so I agreed to go. When I got there, I was blown away. The rooms are very nice. everything is new, clean and comfortable. I loved the charm and ambiance - I will only stay at the Flamingo in CDA from now on.

This place exceeded our expectations. When booking a "Strip" hotel all I really expect is a comfortable bed and a decent shower. Flamingo gave us that, but what I didnt realize at the time we booked it, was just how close it is to the lake and the main strip for Dining and Entertainment, - It's literally on the same street - just one block from where all the restaurants start. Each room has different theme (Polynesia, Americana, etc....) We ended up in Americana - which was great for me - as a Harley Rider and tourer - the room had all kinds of Harley Memorabilia with a comfortable bed. The guy who checked us in the evening was the same guy who was there in the morning and was also cleaning the rooms. He's a super nice, super friendly and probably the hardest working guy in Idaho!~

Nothing - very happy

The Americana room was really cute. The decor was truly American, and we loved it. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really clean. The staff was accommodating as well. The room had two recliners to relax in, so we were more than happy with the accommodations!

There was nothing we didn't like! We have stayed at the Flamingo before and we're just as comfy

This is a wonderful place to stay! 15-minute walk to City Park (5-minutes to downtown). The room was very clean. They had bottles of water for us, and small chocolates. Microwave and refrigerator. Parking right outside your door.

There was nothing that could have been better. It was all wonderful. The staff was great!

Although an older hotel, it was impeccably clean. Each room is decorated in a theme of a different country. (Ours was Ireland) it is also walking distance from downtown and restaurants.

The only thing I would say is the lighting in the room itself isn’t bright enough. The exception is the bathroom which had very good lighting.

The location at this motel is the best location you could ask for. I stayed with my dogs and there is grassy areas just a block down and the park is another block as well. Lots of restaurants are close and a bakery for coffee and pastries in the morning.

You have to enjoy quaint little motels to love this but I have stayed there three times now and enjoyed my stay each time. I love the character of each room and definitely will stay again. You can't beat the location of this motel.

Very conveniently located. It was clean and well stocked. Even had Organic coffee. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a great stay!

Very cute, clean room. The location was perfect - lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The only minor thing is that the light from the street really couldn't be blocked out very well when we went to sleep.

We loved the room themes and comfortable chairs in each room. The location can not be beaten! We did not know there was a breakfast.

We really liked everything. If I need to suggest one improvement I would say the rooms were poorly lit.

No over-the-top "resort" prices but you are still just a block away from the lake. Park within a few feet of your door! No hauling bags across parking lots and up elevators. Walking distance to everything. Excellent water pressure and super hot water. Can't beat it.
